The UhAul was way out of line in the front end, and brakes were squealing like crazy. It was picked up from my house with a wrecker because your own road side service mechanic deemed it unsafe to drive!!!!! And yet you have it right back in service for someone else to drive! Shame on you UhAul! I will never use you again!!!!

Teisha AultI haven't used my hitch yet so I can't comment on its quality. However, the entire installation process only took about 50 minutes so I was pleasantly surprised with the quick install. Further, I believe that the price of the hitch was very reasonable. My only complaint: The wire plug was zip-tied to the opening where I will attach a safety chain when pulling a trailer. It looked sloppy in my opinion and I believe that this zip-tie would fail quickly once I attach the safety chain. I, therefore, moved the plug to a better location.

Daniel KinekeI think the mileage allowance was chintzy and inadequate, and there was ten dollars' more gas in it when I dropped it off than when I picked it up -- which was totally disregarded. Instead I was charged $5 extra for 5 miles above my allowance, which occurred when I stopped at night to sleep. This is really a bullshit approach to business.

Terri StoneThere were screws and bolts in my trailer. I didn't realize it until one screw actually punctured my motorcycle tire and I received a flat tire. This totally ruined my plans when I got to my location and my tire was flat. I then found other screws in the trailer as well. This was very disappointing.

Lelia MackinWanted and reserved a 10 foot truck. UHaul dispatch assigned me a 15 foot truck that I didn’t want or need. Can’t fault local team, as they tried to get me a 10 foot truck. Dispatch is the culprit here. They didn’t call as promised, or inform me of the change. I called to confirm since they didn’t call as promised. The representative was kind, but did not tell me about the truck change. She did send a confirmation email and that’s when I noticed the truck change. Called back and the representative told me that scheduling assigned the truck and “gave me a an upgrade at no charge.” I didn’t want the upgrade, but rep was only able to point me to the local dealer to discuss upon pickup. Complete lack of service and customer care from UHaul corporate and scheduling.

Deborah GreeneI made a reservation for a 20 truck in person. They didn’t have one for me so I had to take 2 10 foot trucks. This worked as far as moving what I needed to move. One truck had no gas in it, the gas light was on. I was told to return it with a 1/4 of a tank and would receive a $20 credit. I put in $20 of gas and it did not come up to a 1/4 of a tank. I have pictures of the pick up reading, the gas pump reading and then the less than a 1/4 of a tank reading. Ion my receipt I didn’t receive a $20 credit for gas shortage, I received $19.25, this is less than I was told and is less than it took to not even get to the 1/4 tank that they wanted it returned with. Now remember I was also told I would be paying mileage on 2 vehicles instead of just one like I had ordered. On the second truck it had just under a full tank of gas. When I returned it it was at the same level, I have both pictures as well. They show the under full tank reading upon pickup and the just under full reading when returned. I filled it up less than 2 blocks from the store. We were charged $18 for gas shortage on the second truck. No one said anything about the shortage. When we picked the truck up another customer was informed there truck was a little short and they were encouraging to go across the street and top it off. The customer service was not the best either. When I asked for a printed receipt the girl seemed annoyed and said that was going to take some time. After that she got on her phone and made a phone call while we stood there waiting. When she was finished with that call she got up and walked out of the store. Not saying anything. This left us unsure of what she was doing. This whole process was a bad experience from the beginning.

John Loulanalthough the equipment was clean, I had an issue halfway to my destination - the trailer had a short and blew a fuse in my car - i replace the fuse and only one side of the trailer lit up - i checked my car and the wiring is fine (used a tester) - I did inform the location and they were going to check the trailer. It got me a bit nervous as I was travelling at night for part of my trip.

David BallI reserved a 20' truck at the Neptune Beach location with a three day lead time. On the pick up day, the pick up location was changed to an alternate location that was over 30mi away. I had to cancel that reservation and asked for one of the 15' trucks at the location. I was told all those trucks were for "in town" only. I had to leave with a 10' truck which was inadequate for the move I was conducting. I will.need to make a second trip at a later date, wasting a lot of money. Three days is more than enough time to make sure a reservation is kept. Maybe next time.ill go with Penske.
