We lost the key and lost a day of rental because they could not send somebody out to make a key that worked. They had to come back the following day with a tow truck. I was told that no additional charges other than the cost of the key would be done. Now they're trying to. Charge me $500 more for additional days. And rental fees. Horrible experience.

The CSR did NOT explain the rental agreement clearly!!! I was told my total was around $37 & change. Lo & behold my checking acct gets hit for $65 & change, I call to find out why. I was told the $37 was for the truck & tax AND the additional was for MILEAGE!!! I was NEVER told there is a mileage charge on top of the truck charge. I thought it was like renting a car, unlimited mileage, just bring it back w/the same amount of gas. The guy says "you agreed to the terms on your cell, before you drive off" TOTALLY FUCKED UP WAY TO DO BUSINESS ~ TOTALLY!!! Had I known that I would NEVER rented from you guys!! The side view mirror do position properly. Will NEVER do business w/UHaul again!!! I want a 50% Refund!!

At pickup, the morning attendant at the counter (who was lovely) said the truck fuel should be at 3/8 of a tank. However, when I got in the truck, it was nearly out of fuel with the "Low Fuel" indicator showing on the dashboard. I notified the attendant who said upon return I would get a fuel credit for any extra fuel I put in the tank. I drove the truck from the lot straight to a fuel station. I had no idea how low it was on fuel and did not want to run this giant truck out of fuel on a major street! I knew my total drive for the move would be about 25 miles, using less than 4 gallons But I put over 9 gallons in the tank, to make sure I had a fuel buffer. I wanted to ensure there was no chance the truck would run out if I was on an incline or something like that! in a 60 gallon tank you never know how much actually needs to be in there to ensure there is no chance of starving the engine. Upon returning the truck that same evening (early) the night attendant said he would grant no fuel credit. I explained the truck was on empty and I did not want to take the chance of running out. He said "yeah, our gas gets syphoned at night". So this is a known problem, (the syphoning) and I, the customer, was handed a giant truck on empty. It was a pretty nerve-wracking feeling to drive on empty like that. I put $35 of fuel in, (showed him the receipt), used about $15 (as shown by the mileage), and was not granted the fuel credit I was led to believe I would get. In retrospect, I should have asked for a different truck, put $20 in the tank, and avoided the worry, hassle, and extra donation of $20 of fuel which likely will get syphoned out of the tank.

The inside of the truck was disgustingly filthy, we were told and it stated on the pick up receipt that there was 1/4 of a tank of fuel but it was 100% empty, and the desk agent told us that he left the drop off location open but then later assigned us a location that is pretty far from our home. Also, along the journey we had some concerns about the vehicle so we stopped and called the number for U-Haul's roadside service. That was a huge disappointment! U-Haul provided terrible customer service in every way possible in addition to delaying us about 3 hours.

Today I rented a 10' truck to move some furniture for a few hours. I paid just over $110 for 69 miles andnthe rental. I didn't realize how much miles we use, but whatever. But the service was there, but It's either the pay, or the employee treatment, because the employees ALWAYS have a negative vibe. I've used this location before. Last time, the owner (who did not help me, nor was at the location) later called me because of my negative review of their service and the mile charge, advised m that they gave me a deal on an extra day I had the truck. I was very appreciative of that. BUT, I don't think the employees are very happy. It could just be me being treated like crap, or they all have their heads stuck somewhere...( racial???). Anyway, I didn't get ripped, I just want to shine some light into the dark energy looming at that location, and maybe cause some cleanup around there. Or maybe corporate headquarters is the reason for all of this??? They say s#!+ rolls down hill. I'll bet it is corporate greed. Great equipment, hate being charged by the mile, though. Not sure if I will just default to this company before researching for another option. If it's still cheaper, I'll probably drop by and talk to the employees before deciding to rent there. If the vibe is still like the dmv, I'm outtie 5000!

I pre booked for mobile pickup. I showed up and it still took an hour just to get the uhaul, there was no appliance dolly or regular dolly in the truck even though I orders for those. The uhaul was on E (no gas) and I was blocked in from leaving by another uhal. I had to wait in a huge line just to get the things I needed and then I had to fill the uhal up right after leaving

The gentlemen who first helped me was great. Easy and fast process. As an ops manager for a car rental company I learned to always take pictures of vehicles when inspecting cars. I took pictures of pre existing damage and oil change light (was not an issue to me as it was just the grill and fender) Upon return i was asked for keys and that receipt would get emailed to me. Within 10 minutes I didn't get 1, 2 or just three 3 missed calls but 6 attempts back to back trying to get ahold of me. When I called back I was asked about the grill and if I can offer an explaination on what happened that damaged it. I replied that the damages were already there on grille, brought up the fenders and that the truck had an oil change light when Picking it up. They asked for proof and luckily i did have it. Didn't like the fact that I had vehicle for less then an hour and only drove 11 miles for someone to try and pin pre existing damage on me and if it wasn't for my rental habits this would've got charged to my rental.

The new general manager Seven and his new assistant Luis have been doing an excellent job improving the overall service at this location and the training of the staff has dramatically increased. I like this team. They are doing a great job from an ex-retail store executives perspective.

Staff were very friendly, but also hammered with customers. Many of the customers were upset (line almost out the door) but I had to hand it to the employees, they kept their cool and remained polite to everyone throughout. You don't see that often these days!

I drove in to the facility ~1 day early to warn the staff, I might need extra time with the truck. The yard was packed, with only two obscure parking spots open for customers. Returned trucks were blocking all other customer parking spaces, and as I entered the full store, customers were being ushered out to move their vehicles from designated equipment space. Acquire additional parking, either Secure parking for excess equipment that may be retrieved quickly as clients need it, or contract with nearby merchants for customer parking (there are a couple of business within earshot that are currently vacant). This is an extremely busy outlet for you, I would expect more customer service staff, additional staff to process the trucks. Flex scheduling for non-linear returns. I get that you folks are running on a shoe-string, but frequent customers walking into an ultra busy business unit with only one person to operate the store and one to process trucks is borderline suicidal. Done right, no one in the rental market could touch you. Management needs to stop fighting amongst one another, turn the primary business over to someone with the vision to revamp the Company image and attitude. Changing corporate culture is painful, and oft unsuccessful. You are a prime target for someone to swoop in and beat you at your own game. You may not have invented the business, but you are the 800 pound gorilla on the corner. Act like the rental powerhouse you are.

The truck was really old- the steering wheel was worn down to the underneath part and the doors had to be slammed to close. When attempting to leave, all 3 lanes were blocked (1 row parked trucks, 1 row trailer pickup and 1 row with the advertising for storage). I had to wait several minutes to try and leave the parking lot. Overall, a terrible experience. I couldn't bring back the truck quick enough (4 hours).

First off, they wanted me to go find my truck in the lot, not knowing how to identify each truck secondly, I've never had to pull my own truck out of any U-Haul lot. It's always been pulled up front ready for me to go this one wanted me to go back it down six truck links backwards. Secondly, go to the truck I was leaving and the truck told me only had 8 miles to empty when it should've been a quarter of a tank, I figured what the heck I'll just fill up but no truck ran out. Luckily, as I was pulling in front of set location turns out the truck had been robbed of its gas, and some part on the gas tank was missing. …wasn't a very good experience at all
