My reserved truck showed 0 miles to empty and the alternate truck I was given was filthy and stunk of weed. After attempting to air out the smelly vehicle, I was forced to return and pick up the original truck after the facility had gassed it up. It was a disappointing experience and significant waste of time.

cindy wenzelThere was a backup of drop offs at the time I arrived but they still got me in and out in a hurry. Because of the stack up I had a long back up to spot the trailer but the attendant guided me (very inexperienced at this) through the process of backing up that short tongue trailer to put it where it belonged.

JAMES SMITHI was charged an additional $30 because I used my card and was told it would be refunded back to my card AND IT WASNT. I checked in PRIOR TO ARRIVAL STILL HAD TO WAIT 1HR BEFORE I RECEIVED KEYS FRONT DESK PERSON DID NOT KNOW HOW TO OPERATE SYSTEM IN PROMPT TIMING! Poor service moving is ALREADY OVERWHELMING I WOULD PREFER FOR MY CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THE MOVING COMPANY IM USING NOT BE THE SAME !

Ashley WoodEquipment was dirty inside cab and inside body center seat back rest has a hole in it broken plastic bumper parts damaged every were very very old equipment dat should not have been on the road at all applying brake pedal engine rear end transmission knocking jerking then you have to wait until wat ever release before you can regain forward speed sticker on dash says more green bars much better fuel mileage dats a lie at 75-80 miles per hour it shows 1 maybe 2 green bars but if you going slower then 40 miles per hour all green bars stay lit so I should get all my rental,fuel money back for this truck while doing inspections on uhaul app the system went into error mode so I showed error message to management he said tell them win I drop it off that he nos about everything that’s wrong with truck let’ me tell u about trailer while trying to secure right front tire this management guy went got a real hammer and beat on metal wat it’s called until he could get it to work move release tie down strap so after that I kept a look on it but doing every time I stop or would waste my time checking it the right strap will be done release it self so by now am making this strap work so I don’t kill nobody and lose my truck upon dropping truck and trailer off I showed the guy who was checking me how strap was about to come off and that it had done feel off many times by itself he the check in guy tried to tighten it up and move it be there was no luck doing anything with that right side at all he’s like we will have somebody else to look at this I could have killed somebody and my self with this old out of date equipment that has not been serviced at all

eric relifordI didn’t really like the storage buildings outside being old back end of trucks… Didn’t seem very secure. I also got told one thing by employee telling me I was caught up on my rent and then got a late notice notification not 12 hours later saying, I was past due on my rent… Very confusing, but we did get it straightened out. Thank you so much to Melissa for helping straighten everything out. I just think that this site for storage could look a lot better With some tender, loving care at least to the outside storage trailers.

Upon hearing my problem, he took quick action and made a trip to insure I had my lock. I know he probably had a long day but he came and offered us water to make sure we were hydrated.

Ryan Phillips | Overall ExperienceThey charged a $458.00 charge to my DC when I paid my storage online. I had to dispute it in order to get my refund. I was unable to access my unit after hours due to it being blocked by incoming uhaul trucks. Everything in my unit which was a basic "26 foot uhaul truck bed" without the cab attached to it, was molded. Yes, they offer insurance, band yes I had it, which made my storage $160.00 a month, 2 months prior to my moving out of it, I canceled the insurance and decreased my bill down to $140.00 a month. The 1st month free sounds great, but it still.isnt worth it. One of the most expensive places to rent a storage space, but not as big as other places for the same price. (SHOP AROUND!!!) GO PENSKE!!

Most of the time when I went to box there was either a rent a box, a trailer, or a uhaul truck parked in front of it so I couldn't even access my things. I sent a move out request 3 weeks prior to my payment due date and location staff were too lazy to address it to the point I got late payment notices and had to call and take care of it myself. I would've literally been better off putting my things in a pile and lighting them on fire. Oh, and when i first signed up they did my paperwork wrong and had me listed for a different box that my things were in, and my stuff almost went to auction because they had the box I was actually in registered to a delinquent account. Seriously, just close this place down.

Not allowed to use the padlock I brought, for which the person who was coming for the stored items, had a key. So, I went with the required lock (round) which had a scrollable password I could sent to the retriever of stored items. That device was very clever, but requires moving a lever to be operated to open it. Had to be placed upside down to work. The keyed version would have worked fine with the existing hardware.

Ok I get they're busy now when I get the unit it's filthy roaches everywhere alive and dead the unit is 6 feet tall but halfway it's slanted to I ended up getting another unit( so I paid twice) which has a mouse trap inside. I just moved 1200 miles so I didn't have time to find another storage facility this location was convenient pick up a truck storage unit same spot. The ladies working the evening shift were pretty helpful the morning shift not so much there was no since of urgency just not good customer service.

contessa ewing | Overall ExperienceI rented a truck on Feb. 28, 2022 at 2:30pm. They gave cancelled my rental and gave my truck away to a random person. There is a very young blonde girl who works there, she claimed that they thought the lady they gave the rental to was the same person because she had the same last name as the account owner(my mom). I purposefully did not book the rental on my account because they have always given me a hard time when having to deal with them. I made a brand new account in my mom’s name since she would be the driver. I read online that my mom would have to provide her driver’s license before they could give her the truck, so them giving the rental to a stranger at a 11am(not 2:30), I knew that they were lying. They just gave the rental away because of it being a rental for me. Like I said, they always have given me a head time and made me uncomfortable on every single occasion. I will never deal with U-Haul ever again. You need to be careful who you hire and make sure they will not discriminate people they are supposed to serve just because of their appearance or sexuality.

I arrived and my unit that I reserved on the phone was not available or unknown from the store staff. It was a short turn around from reserving the space but it felt like I was sold something that didn’t exist. The store staff walked the halls and found a few open and empty spaces and made it work.

And they were my keys and lock! I didnt need them anymore. I have not even been on that side of town since then....and yet they continued to charge me, sued me and auctioned something off for $1. Not that i cared.....since i CLOSED IT! Plus they always had a truck parked right in front of the units. Its inconvenient to never be able to access ur unit because the parking lot is so small and awkward and junked up. They never had adequate help...so the long wait for them to be able to move the trucks to access the unit was unnecessary and inconvenient. Id never recommend Uhaul in tupelo ms to anyone ever. Id recommend u just close the place down. Poor poor poor all across the board. Thumbs down
