This location offers trucks, rental, supplies, and storage units, . making the moving and shortage process in one stop shop. My experience was positive from start to finish. I had to make emergency and unexpected moves due to unfortunate circumstances and staff was friendly, and helpful. No wait times or long lines. The unit is very well-maintained, the security is top-tier, the office is fresh and bright, the hours are generous,, and customer service was top tier.

April WI was overcharged by $1500.00. I only had it 2 days over and was charged for two weeks twice for insurance. Im putting this on public record that it was Rented on 3/8 and returned on 3/12. As soon as they opened for business they had the keys that were in lockbox. The bill wasn’t closed out until 3/14. Then they charged a cleaning fee of $25. It was returned clean. Never will I use U-Haul again. These are fraudulent charges.

Kamarrauian BI have used U-Haul quite of few times in Memphis but I hadn’t use this location before. (Illinois Ave) I’ve always had issues with U-Haul the waiting on the truck “possibly having to come back the next day to pick up”, equipment issues, inaccurate bill issues, etc…When I tell you this was the most easiest, pleasantest, smoothest, experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul. The customer service was great the truck was there waiting, and it was clean.The whole property was clean. I can’t thank these young men enough for this amazing experience. I recommend this location to the whole Memphis and surrounding areas! I give this location 10 stars. If I ever have to use U-Haul again in the future, it will most definitely be this location, for here on out! Thanks again! Charlotte
charlotte fI reserved a small truck for a local move one week in advance. There was a small truck on the lot, but the representative explained UHaul policy to keep it for one-way moves. The only trucks available for local moves were 20 ft. long. The first truck I was assigned had only enough gas to go eleven miles. The second truck’s check engine light was on. Both trucks had high mileage and been smoked in. Conclusion: UHaul does not maintain enough inventory to meet its business demand.

I feel as if the people there were not as friendly and welcoming and they didn’t explain the terms of that particular facility well because they were so anxious to leave work like the doors were locked and they had shut the office down 30 minutes before closing, which don’t get me wrong I understand that there are closing procedures that need to be done but when you have 5 people outside waiting and they can physically see you walking around in the office don’t ignore them especially when it’s windy and 40 degrees out. I basically had to figure out where my unit was how to get into it how to leave. When I arrived I assumed I only had to have my access code but that was incorrect I needed a key card to be able to get in luckily they gave me one all while pushing me out the door so I was able to access my unit. But again overall very nice facility in terms of physical appearance.

As you walk thru the corridors, the overhead lighting follows you, turning on in front of you and turning off behind you... Very nice touch... I love this place... They're more expensive than other storage facilities, but you get what you pay for... I'll give this facility and the staff responsible for it 6 out of 5 stars...

When I arrived at the facility on December 22, 2021, I was helped by Rose. She was very professional and helpful with showing, answering questions, and taking care of the rental. She stated that Rob was taking care of another matter outside. When he walked in I got the chance to let him know that it was great putting a face with the voice. This place has a great team and even though my plans didn't work out, all went well during my check out on January 3, 2022. I met Claudia and made sure she knew about my experience. Felisa S | Overall ExperienceClaudia and her team did all they could to make my experience better, but the facility is just horrible. I reserved a 1st floor 10x20 climate controlled unit. When I arrived, all they had was one 10x9 unit on the 6th floor that was not climate controlled. The elevator was malfunctioning. At one point, I was trapped in the basement on the elevator. I had to use the stairs. The stairs are not locked, there is no camera on the 6th floor, and anyone can use the elevator to go down without a key card. Thus, anyone can walk in there and steal stuff (there are no secure roofs on any units) and take the elevators down. After I filed a complaint with Uhaul, Claudia suddenly had more units available and could help me more. When I came to the facility to close my units and move my stuff back out, she was no longer friendly. My complaint was not so much aimed at Claudia, but at Uhaul itself for allowing folks to reserve units and trucks that aren't available. Also, why did Uhaul allow that facility to open when it is clearly unfinished? I will never use Uhaul's services again!
