One thing to note, and the representative didn’t seem to have an answer. I only drove the truck 23 miles. Although the tank appeared full when I first got the truck, I had to put 6 1/2 gallons of gas in it before I returned it. I showed my fuel receipt to the attendant.

I cannot blame them for their lack of enthusiasm because they likely deal with customers that come in with lack of information on their orders daily since the U-haul site doesn't always provide enough information. My issue this time around was the price jumping up $100 once I was ready to pick up my rental. When booking, the site didn't mention that miles were not already included in the price.
Casey InmanCargo van rented was clean and exactly what we needed but the rear tires had almost no tread left. We didn’t notice this when getting the van but when we did realize the tires were so bad it felt scary to drive the vehicle. There were no problems due to the tires but we did not feel safe, could have had a serious problem at any moment had we driven the vehicle very far. Our experience with the store employees was very satisfactory, everyone was courteous , helpful and very knowledgeable.

BRIAN MATHEWSGet rid of that General Manager!!!!! He was extremely rude to us on the morning of our pickup. It’s like everything we said agitated him and we tried to explain that we could not move the truck that he gave us because another truck was blocking it, all hell broke loose. He went out there, sped off, and hit a bump so hard until the two back tires lift off of the ground. He was not pleasant at all and I will NEVER return to that location for fear that he would be the one to assist me. I would not recommend anyone to go there to save them from that experience. When we returned the truck, the workers were very pleasant and I would rent from them if they were at another location.

Once I parked, then the guy that waved me into the parking area was gone. Another employee walked past me, but never stopped to ask if I need help. The UHaul App was not working properly to return my rental truck online. My daughter had to go inside the office in order to get help, and that was only because another customer walked back to the employee breakroom. The outside area where you park your rental has lots of trash cans over filled with trash. Once the employee came outside to check my truck out, she was very personable, polite and efficient.

I had to drive to Home Depot and rent one and had to pay $90 + tax for a dolly for three days. And the truck did. It have the blankets in the truck. So, ideally, I would like a $100 refund. Truck was good. Ran good. Worked well. But one little thing like not having the appliance dolly cause me an hour of lost time and $100 lost money

On Wednesday I received a wake up call to remind me of location of the drop off where I turned in the equipment. Informed the person that it had been turned in already, She said She would take care of it. Then the following morning, I get a wake up call again, and again I informed Her that the equipment had been turned in four day ago. SO then I tried to reach the location where I dropped off the equipment but kept getting transferred to central office. I spoke to Ruth about the situation and the problem was solved, equipment was checked in, and my email was sent to me in 15 minutes. Thank you Ruth!

While this might not seem like the end of the world to most, being a woman and going to this facility alone always made me feel unsafe. I would never go there after 5pm by myself. The rat problem was also disgusting and one of the main reasons why I moved out. To deal with that and then have U-Haul increase the rental fees was pretty ridiculous. To still see rat droppings on the floor of my unit and around but have to pay more each month pretty much sealed the deal for me.

It was a bit pricey and not worth it for us at a certain point. $140 for storing is pretty steep so I’m glad to finally be able to have that money to put towards stuff I will actually enjoy.

The Friendly location is the only Uhaul location that I will do business with, because they are truly exceptional and provide services above all others that I've visited. When I first got the unit, uhaul employees told me I was getting a large unit big enough to fit a whole apartment, and they gave me one of the smallest units. I had to get a second small unit because no large units were available. Getting two units made this way more expensive for me and they were so small my stuff really didn’t even fit and some of my stuff got broken. I wouldn’t have even come to uhaul if they had just been honest with me that the big units weren’t available. The alarm was broken the entire time I had units there and would ring the entire time I was in my units. Every time I went there, I asked employees in the office about the alarm on multiple occasions and I even called corporate about it and everyone kept telling me it wouldn’t ring any more and then it would ring again the next time I went to my units. It’s very painful to the ears. Even on the last day I was there, one of the uhaul employees tried telling me I must be entering my code in wrong if it is ringing and tried to act like it was something I’m doing wrong. I’ve been there other times where employees admitted to me the system is broken and said it does that all the time so he was wrong to try to blame me for that. I verified my code with him and it didn’t stop the ringing after that. I even asked him to come help me with my code or the alarm and he just told me he fixed it and it should not ring anymore and he he wouldn’t look at it with me. As soon as I went back to the unit after he told me that, it was still ringing and no employee came to look at it for me. The code box never worked the entire time I had my units, and I’ve been there a few times where uhaul employees actually tell customers to leave the door cracked open so customers can get in. When I went at night the door would be cracked open and it wasn’t safe because anyone could follow me in. Then when we got our truck on the last day it had a flat tire. They had a parking lot full of trucks and wouldn’t let us switch the truck out because they said those were reserved. We had a reservation also though so that didn’t make sense at all and the other people they were referring to weren’t there. We had to wait for roadside repair to come and we were paying movers by the hour so moving became even more expensive for us because of Uhaul’s y professionalism. The place has terrible customer service. I saw they took records of my units off my portal but I still got charged for most of the time I was there. To me I shouldn’t have been charged because this was a terrible experience. I typically don’t complain or try to get my money back but this was incredibly bad customer service.

The building was not secure...the door could be opened, the alarm would sound, but we were told no one would come to check on the alarm if it went off. There was also no elevator to the second floor. Not sure where the water came from but it covered the soles of our shoes and it hadn’t rained so not sure what was going on with that but the dock smelled like vomit. I wish the doors to get into the units were wider. It was very hard to get my furniture especially sofa and loveseat into the door of the 10’ x 10’ unit.

I don’t want to be charged an extra day for the truck and I would like to be able to access the storage unit that I’m paying nearly $100 a month for at my convenience.

But, when I picked up the van, I had attempted to do the online part but that failed, and couldn't get a response online. The guy working the desk was creepy! Made weird comments about how I did things perfectly, the system was just acting up. He took a pic of my ID for some reason, never had that happen before. Couldn't tell if he did it with my credit card also. When I asked him about it he said he didn't do it. The guy had his volume turned up on the phone and I could clearly hear the picture taking sound. I have cancelled my credit card because of this and now concerned about my drivers license information being out that. I feel I need to get the redone. I am expecting u-haul to reimburse me for this expense and provide me with an explanation of why he is taking picture of my id and possibly my credit card.
