Steve TWe were expecting to pick up the truck at another location and only received notice of a change in pickup location the day before. This created a substantial problem for us in terms of getting a ride to a location further away. We will probably hire a mover for the remainder of our move instead of 2 U-Haul trips

ROBERT MI have mostly rented car trailers so cleanliness isn’t an issue. I like the very simple online sign up and scheduling. Prices are good. Cheaper than owning one and trying to store it when not in use.

DAVE GThe greeting could have been more upbeat and welcoming. Its your opportunity to impress and win business. I think the manager or employee should walk the renting customer out to their vehicle and explain a few things like where the gas goes in, how to do it. How the keys work etc...Look over the van with the renter. Upon return they should make an effort to great the arriving customer and help check them in. Don't sit behind the counter farthest from the customer and wait for them to find you. Customer service is king. When we returned the manager that helped with the rental in the morning walked right by us...didn't even look at us? When we went in the person there now didn't even budge to greet us. We had to track him down and we didn't understand why he didn't greet and check us in. Left us feeling like "What was that". Opportunity missed to let us know our business was appreciated? Not excited to come back or recommend?

Gerald WYes hello, it would be nice if you check out this truck.. The steering has a problem. While driving it has a tendency to wander out of the lane. This is dangerous. I would recommend that your mechanic check out the steering components and get that repaired. This happens either with or without a load.. Service personnel at the counter did a great job getting me in and out.. Thanks!

Jessica GOverall, Felipe Garcia and the U-Haul team do a great job, I was a Tennent in my storage unit for nearly 7 years, this team provided me great support, answering all my questions and walking me thru the rental process in the most upmost professional and helpful manner always were helpful and to my knowledge in 7 years only raised my monthly rent one time, which was a modest $4.00 increase per month! In my opinion Felipe and this team are hard working to provide the best customer service possible. I recommend this business to anyone requiring rental space and moving equipment in the Tri-Valley. Patrick MAfter renting the trailer online and choosing a convenient location for pick-up, I was told the trailer was not available there. I was referred to another location that apparently had the trailer, and was told by them they did not have the trailer. I was sent to a third location, where finally they had the trailer I needed. Although the 3rd location was fine, it was very frustrating and inconvenient to be sent to 3 U-Haul locations before I could get the equipment I needed.

My husbands and sons had to wait about 30 minutes for the whole process before they could start moving our furniture into the unit. As we’re moving, the clerk reminds me that we will not have access after the office closes, although the confirmation I received and your website list access as available until 10pm. Then, when we were done, we could not get the lock on the door. After struggling with it, we finally had to ask the clerk for help, who had to use a screw driver to attach the lock.
