When I arrived home with a full load after a 12-hour day driving, I needed to grab a few hours of sleep before I could start unloading the truck, which was due back at 9 am the next morning. Obviously, I was unloading at night in the dark, and shortly after I started, it started snowing pretty heavily. The ramp got very icy and slick, so at 7 am, when I was about 75% unloaded, I called U-Haul, explained the situation, that I was 74 years old and trying to work in dangerous conditions. I spoke to Charles, and he very graciously offered to let us have an extra day. I was able to get a bit more sleep, the snow stopped, and we were able to finish the unloading in much less hazardous conditions. It made all the difference in the world. Thank you U-Haul Storage of Klamath Falls. We were able to return the truck later that same day. You were wonderful!

Inside dash and steering column were dirty - should have been wiped-down and sanitized. Reservation was for a van at the Hilyard Ave location in Klamath Falls, Oregon and I received an email confirmation for this address. When I showed up, this location did not have my reservation. I learned that my reservation had been switched to the Washburn Way location but I did not receive notification of this change. I lost time in my pick up.

Knowing that our area had recent snow and rain, you would have thought that the rear wheel drive tires wouldn’t be bald to the point of no traction whatsoever. The truck got stuck while trying to position it into a best ramp docking spot. The first spot way in the way of a deck rail so it had to be moved. We spent 3 hours putting everything but the kitchen sink in front of and under the tires to no avail. When Uhaul told us to call the tow service( my dad had a winch, but he was 90 miles away ), they said it would be $400 for a winch out. Wait! WHAT!!! We were literally a 5 minute drive from the Uhaul store, but was supposed to pay $400 to get unstuck because of bald tires. We then went knocking door to door asking for help. It took first, 2 men with a 4x4 truck and a nylon rope 2 try’s, and then an additional man with a ratchet strap another 2 try’s. So, after 5 hours and then using the neighbors driveway, we were finally able to start loading up the truck. It was a very long day.

I am always pleasantly surprised that UHaul makes this process as painless as possible.
They have fast, friendly service. Super easy to set up a reservation online and check in.
Equally fast check out when returning equipment.
Prices are reasonable.
I can't think of anything to make this better and highly recommend UHaul to anyone who is moving.

Very good place and people. My storage was a bit leaky though. I did mention that to them and they said they put that in their notes and to let them know as soon as possible if there was any damages. So far I have found none but a couple wet plastic totes, which doesn't hurt anything.

Staff members and representatives have all been very helpful and understanding of had a lot of tragedy this trip and they were all very helpful and respectful along the whole way God bless each and every single one of you lost three of our fur babies along the trip and three days after arriving we lost my brother who come with us we had a suffering trip and U-Haul was there the whole way car broke down along the way and had to go back and get a trailer and tow it which took a tremendous amount of time and long mile to go back 200 miles for a trailer to drive 200 MI back the other direction to get the car and tow it in in U-Haul stuck by our side

Our unit was smaller than we expected and we could not fit all our belongings in it. VALERIE was a savior and fixed the situation but the disconnect between corporate and location is less than helpful. The old truck bodies are poor condition and out of date. They are rusty and dirty and while we are there I'll use them because I'm stuck but we won't be back

Crystal is a great manager and her staff is fantastic. Due to health reasons I had to move my items to a closer location to my home. I had my storage with U-Haul for more than 2 years and was and I am sure always will be treated with the utmost respect on every visit to either pay my rental units or to rent a truck. I did notice that my unit had a leak over the mother inlaw area when I vacated my unit and I am sure it was taken care of quickly.

Staff were mostly untrained and unfriendly. I waited 20 minutes wanting to buy a sofa cover. Was told by a young lady employee that she had to watch her coworkers hook up a trailer. She also did not know how to do a move out. Told me I would need to wait for another employee to come in and do it. When the other employees came in, she did not bother to watch the move out process.

The storage unit I rented was just an old box from a truck which was parked behind 2 concrete barriers. This made it inconvenient to pull a truck/trailer up to the unit and impossible unload/load straight into the unit/truck. Also, whoever came up with the bright idea of having a store lock in addition to the renter's secure discus lock, let me wring your neck. How is it that I can't access MY unit that I am renting outside of business hours? I have to go into the store to have an employee unlock my unit for me? Good business practice, uhaul. Great. Make it more inconvenient. Make them combo locks that the old man will never remember the code. I will never rent from this storage facility again and neither will my family or friends.
I won't b*** and complain without providing some ways to improve. The staff were courteous and helpful. But the practice and policies from uhaul corporate that hinder your good people have to change. Don't put a double lock on the unit and get your people some real dang facilities.
