No permission at all! After several months of trying to get through I get a call. Long story short when I go to purchase back my stuff, it's all gone! The unit was full. The staff even took a picture to show me previously. All I see in it is a snowblower, a sander, odds and ends. A bunch of thieves. Pure and simple. Never again.

Ricqual W.All my expensive furniture that I owned my big TV my dressers my kids dressers my entertainment center my computer stand , my stereo system and speakers that was a 1000 dollar set alone got ruined my couch and so much more but they were worried about the few months that the weather was bad and they never replied to my message and and most of my stuff that got got flooded in that place and they didn't care about the value of what was lost in flood because they didn't have flood insurance they only cared about the money for the storage for what I had left in there of my kids and sadly I was told I could get it out in 72 hrs but then was told different after they waited longer to get back to me, I called and left message and even got a number to text because I never got an answer when I called then when she calls my sister she's just worried about money not the message I left and I called the number to speak with a manager and he gave me a number to text and let her know I wanted to get my stuff I had left, out in 72 hrs and she never replied back for over a month or two and it was just to sent email said the bill was now over 800 and told my sister she never heard from me and I know better because I left message and text to
holly F. | Overall ExperienceFor one thing they could make it more convenient for you to drop off the vehicle closer to where you live. There is a place 10 minutes from our home and when I called the place about dropping it there the girl was rude and being a total bitch about everything. So I told her I would call the main company and talk to them she said she didn't care what I did. The reason I wanted closer was because we were driving 49 minutes one way out of our way so that was extra gas in the uhaul and our personal vehicle (which was one hour and 20 minutes out of our way not including gasoline) which I think is ridiculous when we have a place 10.minutes from our house. It is very inconvenient and this is the first time we've had problems like this and I refuse to be disrespected on the phone by anyone. We have used uhaul for years but will probably no longer use them because of the disrespect and costing us more money to return something that we could of returned for less money. There are other companies out there that treat people the way they want to be treated and accommodate for situations like this not be screamed at on the phone and treated like you are a piece of shit. These types of people don't need to be in customer service industry. I appreciate the use of your uhaul and if course you guys costing us MORE MONEY to return it. Thank you Anthony and Lilly Sanders

Michael W.truck rode and handled like it was used, abused and worn out. it bounced shock and rattled every time i hit a bump and it had massive pedal pulsation while braking. this made for an uncomfortable trip of 641 miles of being on high alert the whole time. i also hit a deer at low speed and it broke the grill and damaged the a/c condenser but did not break it open to leak the freon out. i purchased the insurance provided from u-haul and the damage was covered at no cost to me but they made me wait 1/2 hr. to do a estimate with a repair shop. i reminded the salesman that i purchased the insurance policy and they told me they were aware of that fact but still woudent let me go until the ins. quote was done. ???

Julie F.I have been using U-haul exclusively for my entire life and love the service and services I receive every time, however for the first time I was disappointed. The facility I rented from and the equipment I rented were top notch as always, but the staff, however friendly in the store left me dissatisfied. The day in question had around 3 inches of snow on the ground and temperatures were in the teens, upon paying for and receiving keys to my rental, the staff had finished. I was just handed keys and told have a nice day, I was not told where my rental was located I had to clear 3 inches of snow from the windshield myself and had to re-enter the facility and physically ask the staff to assist me in backing my rental out of the small space it was located in. I do love U-haul and I will continue to use and recommend their services to others, however I am severely disappointed in the customer service I received and will most likely use another U-haul retailer in the future.

Michael M.We we told we could pick the truck up at 0700 on Sunday 11/19. Office hours begin at 0900. We were assured we could pick the truck up. No one explained anything about how to access a drop box or downloading an app. Actually, I shouldn't have to download an app to rent a truck. So, we hired people to help load the truck at 50:00 dollars an hour. Not being able to pick the truck up at 0700 costs me 200 dollars to have guys stand around and wait. Overall a good experience. We ended up renting 2 trucks and that's fine. Everything else was as expected. Pushing the U-Haul app may be convenient to U-Haul but it is not necessary for someone who moves once every 20 years Thank you David E Smith 3046722269

Other than that staff was very good to deal with and I let the girl know about the mice and all I got was a oh lovely so it is what it is. Have to find someone to repair the hutch. Thanks

David W.Staff was polite and courteous BUT the equipment (15' Uhaul truck) was trash!! the check engine light was on the entire time saying the fuel cap was not tight... tightened as much as possible and still check engine light was on... truck ran terrible and had little power, the windshield wipers were awful and we could barely see out the window and it rained both days we rented the truck. For as much money as was charged... you expect the equipment to be as good as possible. NOT THE CASE

Not only that the insurance they provide to you doesn’t cover flooding so the thousand and thousands of dollars they through away can’t be replaced.

He was rude and condescending each time to us and other customers, but when I got to the Anmoore WV location Sam and Sheena were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful! It’s clear they take great pride in the conditions of the facility, the service they provide, and they really went out of their way to make sure my needs were met. Sam and Sheena are amazing at representing your brand and thanks to the experience I had with them I am moving out of another storage facility and taking on two more units in their location. They should both absolutely be commended and recognized for how they care for your customers!!

Christopher M. | Online Move InMy unit didn't have any lights inside. Although light came in from the hallway I have vision difficulties and it was too dark for my experience. I went there one day to get some items from my unit and the door to that section wasn't working so I couldn't get to my unit. I understand it was an electrical problem the staff had no control over but possibly another entrance would be necessary if something happens again. The staff I dealt with were great and very friendly.

The storage facility was not close to me at that point. So I had to drive 3.5 hours one way to fix their problems and move my gear from one unit to another. It took 10 hours of my time and a hundred bucks in gas to fix their mistakes.

All my furniture was brand new only like a year old n had to rent an industrial Upholstery cleaner just to clean my furniture. And had to buy new beds because they were so bad.
