Too many Issues!! Issue with the one month free!! Which caused an issue with storing my belongings! I then had to call Custome Service that day!! And again the next day!! Even after that the guy still denied the 1 month free!! I again had to call Customer Service!!! Which incurred additional fees for the truck rental! Which I now have to dispute!!! Just horrible customer service experience all around with this place!!!

Make sure that the maintenance on the vehicle is up to date before giving out one that breaks down before you even start the process of moving. Also, at least take some money off the order for the inconvenience that came with the breakdown issues. I wasn't given that opportunity unfortunately. That would've be nice.

The truck had some type of oil on the floor. When I requested it to be cleaned I was told to purchase pads. The customer care person told me it was just water. Either way I don’t want to out my furniture on something wet. I asked for a new truck.

It would really help those who are late returning the truck to explain in very simple terms ( Big letters and an illustration) how to lock the truck. It would be nice to have a placard in the glove compartment ( It may have been one and I missed it!!) ; showing how to lock the back of the truck and once you lock the truck doors all the lights will go out ( DUH!!! IDN REALIZE THAT!). After moving and returning the truck in the dark ( yes its lights) by myself I was in a slight hurry. But I finished up and was able to leave. That's why it's always important to be on time!!! IK!! IK!!! Oh! And this was my first time of being in charge of the actual moving. Moving takes time whether its a few pieces or an entire place. So now I know!! One more thing; the people at Uhaul Moving & Storage near 95th and King Dr are very pleasant and know the business. You can rent what you need here!!!

The manager Ayana and her workers are conniving and schemers. They lied about my grace period for the storage, purposely put in the wrong date in their notes. When I came to clean out the storage I was a day late and had to pay for a full month to get my items. She then states that “well in the notes it says something different”. Then when I came back to take the lock off they changed my code from 06215 to 02215. So I couldn’t get in until I sat there waiting for the manager. I had Ayana to change it to my own code in the system. These are vindictive and untrustworthy “ladies” working at this facility. I will never use U-Haul storage again or suggest you to anyone.

Both young ladies were very professional, they answered the questions I had and made sure that I had everything I needed. There were also very helpful we we’re having having a hard time backing into the warehouse and they assisted us by driving the truck in for us.

I appreciate the clean facilities. What I didn't not appreciate was the staff that was there when I signed out of the facilities. This was a stark contrast to how I was treated when I initially signed in. As I completed my move out transaction, the workers were rude and dismissive. ( customer receipt number 757037-108584-238672) While completing my move, my husband and I noticed that we needed something to tie down our load. I asked the workers if they sold bungee cords, he said they didn't have any. I found some and gave it to him to purchase. ( Contract No. 98566535) Then noticed that I didn't need the cords, so I took it back. When I explained that I didn't need it any more, he said they need to tax me on the return. I asked him where was that written and that there was no policy that indicated that. He picked up the return policy card and slammed it on the counter. Then said, "the policy is here!" He picked it up again, turned it around, and slammed it down again, saying, it's on both sides. I said that there was nothing stating that I would be taxed and it will be more than the regular tax. I asked him why would I be taxed again for returning items. He smuggly said, " we can tax however much we want. " And left me standing there to assist another customer. I left feeling disappointed, disrespected, and felt extremely used by your company.

New costumers are not given directions about several unknown variable: location of the elevator in the building, a map of the assigned storage, how to operate the main hate and how to operate the exit gate. I had to go to the lobby several ti.es to get answers to these questions. New customers should be given notes once the storage is assigned.

I had 2 storage units since April of 2020 for I was homeless for a minute. I paid on those units and then closed one unit out and kept one. I had lots of pictures in the unit of ALL MY FAMILY HISTORY. My mom died as I am only child lost everything. I talked to Ayana Howard December 13,2022 try to make a payment of $300 for that was ALL I HAD AT THE TIME. The bill was $600she told me that I could not pay partial payment must pay whole and I did not have it then. I received late notice email 1/12/23 and then sold notice 1/13/23. NO EMAIL OF FUTURE SALE OR AUCTION. I called 1/14/23 and was told by Ayana Howard nothing I can do I was warned, which I was not. I called corporate and was told that corporate DO NOT FORCE CUSTOMER TO PAY FULL AMOUNT AT THAT TIME. INFORMED THAT CORPORATE DOES TAKE PARTIAL PAYMENTS TO AVOID AUCTION. Ayana Howard has lied to me over and over saying it was not her on the phone when I kept calling the location to speak to manager. When she called me back a week and half later I recognized her voice which was the same voice I spoke to every day saying manager not here. Please help I just wanted keep pay off the storage to get my valuables pictures most definitely.

Ayana and her team were absolutely amazing! The store manager was very helpful to me after a tiring day of packing a truck , literally by myself. Ayana was very easy to work with, she knew what to do regarding my truck, ( I locked myself out of my vehicle), helped me find the perfect space for my things. I will definitely work with UHaul in the future and will refer all of my friends and family to Ayana’s location for service, she is exemplary!

I dont like the fact every time I looked up my storage price kept going up. Then on top of that this is a storage facility with the smallest elevator. You literally had to play Tetris to get your big items in. Their flooring is not leveled or smooth. If you have something heavy & you get stuck in one of them holes.... its over.

The young ladies had all the trucks clean after the snow storm the previous day. The lot was plowed and clean and my truck was warmed and ready when I entered it. They recommended the items I needed to move my sister apartment items into storage. Very awesome job .

My mother had a storage and passes in 2019! They wouldn’t let me and my siblings take certain items they wanted us to take the entire storage and that was not possible. We had nowhere to store her belonging they auctioned her things for $9.00 which made us feel like we lost our mom all over again. This really hurts!

Most of the staff were nice, especially the woman that helped my mom and I out the day I arrived. I am definitely confused on how my card that I made the reservation with was charged 7. 95. I was told when I made the reservation that my card would not be charged. Also, my mothers card was charged for damages, 68.00 for damages that I did not cause. I don't think that's cool. I didn't get a chance to upload my own photos which I did take BEFORE we even took off with the van. I will keep my storage there, but definitely don't understand how both cards were charged.

The WORST storage unit ever!!!!! My mattresses, clothes, rugs, shoes and much much more were full of RAT DROPPINGS and URINE Had to sweep out my own unit out which was very hazardous and it amounted to a pile knee high of dropping and on top of that to have Ayana Howard which is the manager that have THEE WORST ATTITUDE & THEE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE a Facility could ever have, complaints were written millions of times and nothing was done Ayana Howard must of came with the bricks on the building or U-Haul is in need of disparate help! Proven fact....I let my unit go due to the droppings which had nice things in there mind you and it all could be replaced mind you again!!! But yet and still the unit was only sold for $25 so go figure!!!! PS....Nasty as Ayana Howard was I wouldn’t doubt it if she brought the unit for herself! RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!

This location seems to have a major rat issue in the basement. I noticed rat droppings in many locations. Additionally, my storage unit had lots of sheet work and ceiling/construction dust and residue. There looks like construction has been taking place on the ceiling and was never fully repaired. I also feel that you should all enforce making your employees wear mask during covid. The manager on duty wasn't wearing a mask while assisting me. Your employees at this location could also be more professional. When you walk in they are playing around and take all day in order to ask what you need. It's a job not a social club. Thanks.

This location seemed to have a major rat problem. There are rat droppings in the lower area. Additionally, when I came back into my storage facility in order to move there was sheet rock or ceiling particles everywhere. It looked as though they were doing some ceiling work in that area but didn't take the time to protect clients items. I look up and their were roofing pieces hanging out. My last issue is that one of the women at the front desk- I believe the manager, didn't have on a mask. Covid is still a real threat.
