The guy who came to attach the trailer with our car didn't help in fixing the trailer hitch ball. He said that is not my duty.
SilverLine M.When somebody is picking up your equipment you have to provide the proper instructions. Your representatives are just having fun, gossips and talks with each other. They don't give you proper information. I picked up a cargo van and they just told me the rental rates and ask for the estimate milage and got charged around 47$ and told me that the access usage i will be paid extra. When i returned they said there is a Distance charges extra and the fuel charges are extra and i only used 4km extra and they charged me 30$ for that. How scam this place is. They have only one community people when they don't have answer to your questions. They start talking each other in their language. English is not mandatory there. Ask everything and tell them to give you all in written. Otherwise you will be scammed for extra dollars.

When I first got the truck they gave me the wrong gas and mileage, I had to have the guy that work there readjust that, good thing I notice or I would've have to pay more for the gas and mileage. Second the review light was broken and so was the gas cap which I had told the guy the did the walk around with us when checking the truck and now their trying to charge me $89 for damages which was already there, I will never be going back to this location to rent a truck EVER!!!!

Gurpreet G.The vehicle (10 foot) was very dirty, this made the circle check difficult, it was a very sunny day, which made it difficult to see out the windshield and mirrors, I had to clean them myself, Also I made an error in booking, I booked to drop off the vehicle where I picked it up, before I realized that I missed the SMALL print advising of the mileage charge, I was told I could not cancel the order and rebook without calling Head office but was also told they probably won't answerer as they are always busy, I tried calling and yes I could not talk to anyone. Lastly I received the vehicle a 7/8 full tank since I have no Idea what the tank holds I ended up leaving it Full with no compensation. So in conclusion I paid extra for gas, twice as much for mileage, cleaned some of the the vehicle, and had to drive a vehicle that the passenger side mirror was limited to one or positions and the driver seat could not be moved forward or back. The staff were efficient and friendly but were not surprised that I had made the mileage mistake and I really didn't feel they were interested in helping with this and with the extra gas, it was sorry to bad no refund, Leaving the gas tank at 7/8 clearly causes most people to just fill it and take the loss.

I was that it wouldn't be an issue as long as I came the next day before closing and despite that the payment was made the same day.
Vinay S.The Gate on the trailer was damaged. I could not release it to load and unload my cargo. This made things very difficult. I have been renting here and these trailers for years . I should not have to pay for this when the trailer was not usable.

Rallis T.I have had a extremely poor experience with Uhaul for the hitch installation. So purchased the hitch and book an online installation at 411 Main St N Brampton store. Your website allowed me to book for 5 pm evening on 3rd of Feb(Saturday). on 31st Jan 2023, I called uHaul cust care for some info and they told me that you do not do the hitch installion that late in evening(So why the website allowed to me to book and why am I getting this info no) anyways, he then booked me at the same place for 2nd Feb 2024 at 3pm. on 1st Feb 2024, I called the store to check if they have the updated reservation details or not and they told me that they do not do the hitch installation for BMW's. At this stage I was very frustrated and donot know what to do next. if you guys cannot do it properly, I request to kindly stop doing it so that customers does not face such situations. Anyways, I connected with the customer care again and they told me it can be done in missisuaga and booked me at 8am on 2nd Feb 2024 I need to get the hilch from brampton store and then go to missisuaga to get it installed. not sure if they will be doing it or sending me back. In all these process, I lost a lot of time and money. I work as a it consultant and I have to take time off my job to get this all done. I am very unsatisfied with my overall experience.

Salim M.I have been to two U-Haul locations in Brampton several times. in both locations: 1. The staff behind the counter are slow and don't seem to care about what they are doing. It seems like they are just putting in time. No customer interaction, not friendly. Their directions about how the process works assumes you know how the process works. You guys could turn the whole thing around with some customer appreciation training AND customer service training. 2. What makes it worse is that the outside staff are pretty much the same. Not friendly. Putting in time. Timeliness doesn't ring any bells with them. Often, after the direction of the inside staff to "go outside and see the person there", you go outside and there is nobody there. You then spend time trying to find someone to help. They just don't seem to care. 3. I got an email that said I could "save time" at registration by Pre-registering online. I did. Took the time to put in a drivers licence image and it sure didn't save me any time. Have you seen the animated movie "Zootopia". In there there are two sloths at a driver licensing counter. My whole experience with the U-Haul staff was like interacting with the sloths in Zootopia. At this point I go to U-Haul because I have no options. If I did you would lose my business. Please please please do something about it.

My expectation is the truck would be brought around and I could review the truck for damages with someone. There're were damages on the truck that were not in the photos I have to sign off on. Why have old damage that's not accounted for. Comes across as if U-Haul is trying to put the blame on me by hoping I miss that damage. The windshield wasn't cleared of snow. Have to use my hand.

The fire alarm has been on low battery, doing that annoying beep the entire time of our storing stay. Heard it non stop loading in the unit, non stop moving out. Staff were not friendly or knowledgeable when we first arrived.

My pickup location I wanted over 20 mins outside in the sun for rhe rep to open the door and assist no one was at the office. I called your customer and was given $50 off my renta and when I dropped off my renta they did not apply the $50 off but told to call customer because the rep did not put it on. The rep I think his name was Bryan...when he came in he looked half a sleep no apology made he just act like he did not care. I was very upset because I have some deadlines to meet and my while day went bad after due to getting the truco very late. The Dropbox off location was ok ....no problem

I always expect that things will take a long time when I go to this U-Haul. I cannot be in a hurry. I came today to change my storage unit from a big one to a smaller one. Before I could start to empty, I was told by an associate to go tell the cashier to sign me out of one storage unit first. So I lined up for 10 minutes just to find out by the cashier that I could have emptied my storage unit and filled the new one and then lined up to see the cashier to complete the transaction. Too much time wasted.

They don't show you the unit until after you pay which not good. steep stairs to go to units they need to make better access for people that can't go on stairs. I have used this location in the past for moves never really had too much issues but yesterday I was pretty disappointed.

Also my original locker was locked and they didn't know why. They had to give me another locker. Also didn't realize that i had to go up stairs to get into the storage unit. It took 5 hours to unload our truck because of this. I understand it says you may have to go up a few stairs but that's extremely misleading as this is an entire flight of stairs. Also had to step down into the location which made things even more difficult to move. Also not to mention I couldn't even get close to the door, we had to park off to the side and was not able to use the ramp. Extremely disappointed in this storage location. Will never rent storage at this particular uhual location again.

Sometimes there were sketchy people waiting outside of the door trying to get in without a code. My storage unit would have water in it every time the snow melted - there is a leak coming in from the right side of unit by door.

I had also asked if by chance the unit for the 3rd month could be shortened to the end of the first week as the client moved everything out Aug 8. I will never get involved or book through your location again. Your staff was extremely rude to myself on 2 occasions and my client on another occassion.
