I spent an hour pressure washing the trailer I’d rented and it was clean. There were a few pieces of mulch that had blown into the bed while returning it that the pressure washer didn’t get. I was charged $15.00 for what would take 5 minutes to sweep out. In hindsight I should not have cleaned the trailer at all. I will not rent from this location again. I understand the gentleman was just doing what he was supposed to, but the trailer was very clean.

From the moment I drove onto the lot, It was awkward returning the vehicle. They made me feel uncomfortable. Plus, they made me pay $5 for blankets which I never, ever used. They didn't tell me about that nor did they give me an opportunity to review that charge before closing out.

I had a wonderful wonderful experience with customer service from the employee by the name of Trevon at the Woodmen location. He greeted me with a huge smile, was incredibly conversational, eager to help, answered any questions I had, was very patient, and was in fantastic spirits. Really appreciated his enthusiasm as moving can sometimes be stressful and full of anxiety. It was refreshing to run into his energy and really hope that he is applauded for his awesome work. He really deserves a pat on the back and his coffee taken care of on one of his morning shifts. Thanks Trevon!

It was like a night and day difference compared to the Helena U-Haul location. All the staff here were reasonable and friendly. Even though there was not enough staff to go around and we had to wait it was ok because they took the time to say they would be right with us.

The person I worked with helped my experience today but overall uhaul is not a good experience. Poor customer service and the service reps on the phone have zero customer service skills or empathy for customers. In todays world I’m not sure how businesses can operate like this. I will be disputing the charge for my uhaul today as I spent more time dealing with picking up and returning my moving truck than actually moving.

I was told that I could not rent the trailer unless I gave them an alternate contact. I don’t typically have alternate contacts. Should’ve been on the rental form online. Then when I returned the vehicle before they would accept it, I had to turn on my lights and the hazards in the blinkers. I should just be able to drop it off have them inspect it and go on my way.

When we dropped off the car shortly before our appointment time, we were told the hitch installation would take one hour to one and a half hours, and we would be called when it was ready. Three hours later, I called to find out if it was ready, and the man who was supposed to be installing the hitch answered the phone. He informed me it would be another half hour to 45 minutes before the car was ready. The delay really threw our afternoon schedule into chaos.

Overall it was a good experience but for some reason the check-in process could not be completed through the app so it had to be done manually inside the store. It cost us a little bit of time, but it wasn't a huge problem. Also, we had ordered a half-dozen pads but we found that they were not inside the truck once we got to our destination. When we mentioned that omission at the time we returned the truck, that charge was immediately taken off of our invoice, so it was handled appropriately. The truck was in excellent condition, and I would definitely recommend the service that this location provided.

Outstanding customer service! I had reserved the truck for 7:00 AM. I was running a little late and the people called me at about 7:30 to make sure I was still planning on getting the truck.

The truck after leaving the lot made a really loud noise and started shaking with acceleration. The oil indication thing went up pretty high, I was already super behind schedule because the check in process taking so much longer than expected. The location I already booked at all the sudden didn't have my truck, so it took me to another location an extra 15 minutes away. Super annoying and not worth all the hassle.

Trailer was dirty but otherwise in very good operational condition. I reserved the trailer in person at a location within 3 miles of my home (there is a total of 3 Uhaul rental locations within 3 miles of my home) with the intention to pick up/return the trailer to that location. Instead, I had to pick up and return at a location 15 miles away. I was told that was the case because availability of a car hauler was very limited. When I picked up the trailer, there was a total of five car haulers on the lot. When I returned the trailer there were still four car haulers on the lot. It appears to me that Uhaul just didn't care to make my experience convenient to me, but rather easier for Uhaul.

Computer system was slow, causing a delay at the counter. I wasn't in a hurry and the clerk was very apologetic. Also, checking my rental back in was seamless. Bravo!

I went here on two occasions recently. On the first one, the process was quick and easy. Employees guided me through the rental. The second occasion wasn't so pleasant. It was the owner/general manager and gruff and all business. The Ford van was nicer than the GMC. The return checkin on both rentals was super easy.

2nd truck rental from facility and overall easy access and good support but reliance on the website for truck continuity is horrendous. First time could not document link as was incomplete and EXTREMELY slow upload for what I could do. 2d visit did not even get link until an hour after departure. Documented fuel level was off so needed to get cooperation from staff to correct and they were hesitantly willing to help me. Told me to use the app for dispute of which I hadn't received (see above) and could not print when they corrected on their end. Resolved by taking a pic of updated screen. I can't think of one reason why the onus should be on the customer during a pick-up and question the companies reliance on the app.

The Ashton guy at the storage we rented from you at 500 n Scottsdale road in Tempe Arizona is super super rude with us. He constantly interrupts when you’re talking and has a shit attitude with you when you’re trying to talk. He knew we were already having a really hard time since he talked to us the day before he was rude.. and he tells us he doesn’t care he has a bad attitude or if we find him rude. I would never recommend anyone renting a storage at that location because of him. Find better people who know how to show courtesy.

Customer service is Excellent!!! The people are wonderfully helpful at this location. But the storage units having carpet (which is heavily strained up everywhere you look) and office ceiling tiles means it's moldy and dirty, and so we instantly regret having selected this location.

Uhaul computer systems need to talk to each other. Very frustrated on our uhaul storage container move on one of our storage units to Fla. Dates were incorrect at first and we were led into a spiderweb of phone numbers to call. Most said “ I can’t see that on my computer. You have to call…” frustrating but it worked out in the end. Far from seamless though. Address was not updated at Woodman properly (even though we had it shipped there). We had updated at the counter, but had to call again at a later time because they requested an updated address (?!)

I got charged full price for my rental when they made me bring it back in half of my time of use. I tried to extend my rental they denied me they made me unload my stuff off the truck into a storage unit. Now I have to rent another truck on Tuesday so I can move in to my apartment. They told me that they were not going to charge me for the whole thing but they did anyway. I got charged for my milage when I was told I had to go to another site to unload which put me over my milage limit. I feel I was taken advantage of. They also said the reason I couldn't keep the truck is because it was going back out the next morning at 730 Saturday. It was still at the U-Haul place at noon . As far as I know it never went out. The only thing that kept me from having to leave my stuff on the street is I qualified for a free storage unit. I have a 4 month old girl and my wife. We were unloading our stuff at 930 at night into the unit. Now we have to do this al over again. This U-Haul site is off of academy in Colorado springs. When I went to try to extend my rental a lady that I talked to in person said I could bring my rental in si they could see it was in one piece then I could do another contract with them so I could keep it until Tuesday when my apartment would be open. She told me not to worry about anything that she would take care of it for me then 30 minutes later she called me and said that they couldn't do that for me and I needed to have the truck back that night because it was going back out the next day at 730. I explained that I have All of our stuff in it and I didn't have any place to go with it. She told I need to get another truck from another site the next day at 730 at the woodman site and unload my stuff on to the other truck and have the first truck back at it's site at 730. I asked her how was I supposed to rent another truck unload my stuff on to that truck and have the first truck back at it's site at 730. I said I couldn't not drive 2 vehicles at once an that it is impossible to rent a truck unload my stuff and have the first truck back all at the same time. She is the one who told me that she would take care of this deal so I could keep the truck for as long as I needed it for. I was willing to pay for the whole weekend that is when she said they would just do another contract. She is the one who stepped out of her role an tried to play boss an said things that wasn't even possible to do. I would like to get a refund for all of it because people played told me things that they were able to do. All in all I got charged full price for only using the truck for half the time and got charged for all the millage when I had to go further out of the way to get another truck. I got a big screwing on this. Someone needs to do the rite thing and get my money back. Thank you from a person that will never use your service again and I will let people know that the service there is a rip off. I did try to resolve this situation with the site and got no where. All they wanted was the truck back an didn't care what happened to our stuff or anything that we needed.. I am not a rich person and I don't appreciate that your employee didn't consider that our 4 month old girl had to be out in the night unloading our stuff into storage. Do you have kids would you want your kids out in the middle of the night unloading your stuff. Probably not.

I mainly dealt with Chris, good guy. He got me into a unit close to the front as I'm a disabled veteran. The staff was all really nice and helpful. The storage facility was clean, well maintained and climate controlled. Highly recommend this place for your storage needs... They also have trucks... I didn't use one but if it's from this staff, I'm sure they would be on point. Thanks again Chris and staff. I would use them again.

With only one entrance and the units spread over such a large area, it is both difficult and cumbersome to reach my units. Additionally I discovered a 10x20 isn't really a 10x20, but two 10x10 side by side which didn't work for an item I needed stored resulting in my having to rent two units instead of one. The staff was helpful but the facility itself is awkward and inconvenient.

My locker had a sticky latch that was stiff & I needed gloves to push it over. I'm not sure if it was bent or not. I eventually learned how to work with it. I don't know if that is normal or not since I've never used such a latch before.

The people were fantastic to deal with. Facility was great! Easy and convenient. That said, the IT system sucked! Made it very difficult to reinstate a storage rental I had made there over a year before, due to the system losing my contract. The only thing that kept me from saying WTF and walking out with my stuff was how helpful, creative, and mutually frustrated the staff at the facility was. Great people! The fact that an inquiry leads to 45 minutes wasted while I was on a tight schedule to begin with was extremely frustrating. Again, this was no fault of the facilities employees. They truly saved the day and kept me as a customer, albeit one shaking their head over the problems with your information management! Fire your IT department! Give those folks at the facility a raise and an “way to go”!

I walked into your facility real upset everything that could go wrong did. Jordan and Chris made the difference, I was given wrong info, the gas they quoted was wrong they scheduled me for the wrong location this all came from your store at 3105 N Nevada. But again Jordan and Chris at Woodmen corrected everything and I left a happy person Kudos for these two employees. They saved me a call to Corporate.

I wasn’t happy about having my storage unit moved. I was glad that I was able to stay at the same location. The movers were nice and very good at reorganizing but the move took 5 hours. Which was 2 hours longer than I was told that it would take. I was disappointed to have my furniture moved because inevitably there was some damage to the wood. Not sure when it happened, either when it was moved in or moved to new space. But every tim I move there is risk of damage, so I hope that I don’t have to do this again. I’m glad to have 2 free months, but I hope you don’t raise rates on me AGAIN before I move out completely.

My uhaul truck was cancelled (due to lack of trucks available) so I couldnt move out before my month renewed. When I moved out 2 days later, I asked if I could get a prorated amount since uhaul cancelled my reservations. I was told to talk to the manager. So I called back several times and was never able to get ahold of Jen. I was told multiple times she would call me back, but never got any call from anyone. The facility was clean amd well kept but communication was non-existent from the manager when I needed help. All the other associates were nice and helpful. It was just frustrating to pay another month of storage when uhaul was the ones who cancelled my move in the first place.

The fact that you won't guarantee a truck or made changes to u-box drop off locations at will was extremely inconvenient for me, especially since I was moving out of state. The U-Haul storage facility was all good but they don't pro-rate the rental so I basically paid $60+ for 1 week. There is zero reasons why they can't pro-rate. I also got different answers from different people about the equipment rentals and pro-rating the storage unit. I will never use U-Haul again (I went with Penske and had a much better experience).

The gentleman Shawn didn't know what he was doing, kept messing up the account and order, kept us at the facility for hours. I missed other appointments I had per that day, then having to go back and forth purchasing items, retrieving items because he did not know how to set up the account and save it, thus having to redo everything. He showed me the Storage and got plastic pieces stuck it in where it didn't want to lock had to contact someone to fix it. Then I received a phone call 8am to return a trailer I rented at 7pm for 24 hours stating it was over due, the lady that called me simply stated I will extend it and add stuff to my account that made no sense if Shawn and Chris told me the return time was 7pm the following day than to be harassed by someone not only calling my phone but my family members. Then I called back and asked her how did this make sense and she said for I told hold or that she would call me back because she had to assist other customers and never called back! Horrible service, horrible customer service, no military discounts available, waste of time, waste of taxing me everytime to purchase something additional after they forgot to mention a requirement of one item or another. I will not come back to this facility after this move. Disgusted.

Over the past month of using the storage facilities I’ve had occasion to request information or help from the staff numerous times. I’ve found the staff members I interacted with to be knowledgeable and thorough, while being pleased to help by providing all the pertinent information I needed. I was always greeted and acknowledged when I was waiting for them to finish up with a previous customer. I felt that the entire staff was there to make sure I had the most trouble-free experience. Customer service like I experienced with this U-haul staff is priceless. I wish more businesses and service providers were this well trained and committed to providing a top-notch customer experience.

I used the Academy Blvd facility in the past and they referred me to the Tiffany Square facility when they couldn't provide the storage size I needed. Very helpful and a much more convenient location for my current needs.

Jason and Dre are amazing! They explained everything thoroughly and made sure we knew how to operate the system. They checked in on us a number of times as we were unloading to make sure we were doing okay. Jason even backed the trailer into the unload spot for us! Very happy with this Storage Center.

I found this U-Haul Moving & Storage facility at Tiffany Square here in Colorado Springs not only clean and easily accessible (several dedicated loading/unloading parking spaces at the entrance) but GM Jason Carr to be very friendly & helpful -- as was Don, one of the other U-Haul employees who helped me on move-in day. Further, the rental rates are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering this is a climate-controlled facility in fairly expensive Colorado Springs. As I told Jason when I was "checking out," his Tiffany Square facility would be my FIRST choice should I ever need another storage room in the future.
