Online return system is horrible. My return was at 8AM I got to facility at 7:30 and didn’t leave until 8:03 trying to get uhauls app to respond and move on to the next phase. Even after 8AM no one from Twin Rivers auto was available to help. If you are going to request the vehicle back at a certain time there at least needs to be staff to help properly check out with all the app issues and connectivity issues places.

I was charged extra for gas, when I actually returned the truck with more gas than when I picked it up. I had to call into customer service for a refund.

The gas tank was not full and there was an engine warning light on when I picked up the truck. I was told after having to ask about it that it was just a catalytic converter and they have one on order. They guy thought the tank was full and told me just to bring it back full, but when I checked it had just over a half a tank. Since they said the truck would be fine, I still took it. Not happy with not having been told in advance about the engine warning light, and also feel like I was being tricked into filling the gas tank when I returned even though it was only half full.

I had reserved some equipment as well as the truck. However, no equipment was available there because it isn't a Uhaul store, it's an auto repair place. Why did the website allow me to reserve equipment? Very aggravating. Uhaul's website is awful.

I asked if they could assist with getting my car into the auto transport trailer. The location is at the top of a hill and the lot is all gravel so I’d parked my low profile car at the bottom of the hill. The rep informed me that he couldn’t help with loading for liability reasons. The rep at the drop off location informed me that isn’t true.

There was a faulty parking break indicator that would continue to beep throughout the entire trip. Also was not explained the drop off process. So im getting charged a after hours fee that i told was somewhere in the bottom of the contract. It would be nice to not sneak in random fees that could have been avoided if properly explained and not dumped in the bottom of a long contract.

THEY ALLOWED ME TO DRIVE OUT WITHOUT A RUNNING BACK LIGHT EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW THAT I WILL BE DRIVING AT NIGHT. ONE OF THE ANCHOR CHAINS WAS BROKEN OFF AN I WAS TOLD THAT IT DOES NOT MATTER, THAT I CAN TOW WITH ONLY ONE.

They added $14 SafeMove coverage to my rental when I picked up the vehicle. I saw this 10 minutes after leaving the location with the truck and called them about it. They were rude and said they didn't know anything about it, all they did was hit print. I called U-Haul customer service today to have that $14 charge reversed and the woman on the phone looked up and confirmed that they added it at the pick up location when they were printing out my rental agreement. I'm getting money back thanks to your customer service representative, who was very nice and helpful, but I had to wait 55 minutes on the phone today to speak with someone. The previous year I rented from a location in Baltimore who overcharged me over double the miles I actually put on. I had taken pictures of the mileage when I picked up and dropped off the vehicle so customer service also refunded me the overcharge that time but it's two years in a row that U-Haul locations have tried to screw me out of money with fraudulent charges and I am beyond pissed off. I will never rent from U-Haul again, even if it cost significantly more to rent from a competitor. I have moved almost every year for the past 12 years and you have lost my business for life!

This was the second location for the truck pick-up. I had scheduled a pick-up at Charm City Auto, 4381 Hollins Ferry Rd, Halethorpe, MD 21227, for a 20 foot truck, and when I got there they had NO trucks and all the woman that worked there did to help was all corporate. She had no idea that there was a truck rental/pick-up for that day. The man at Twin Rivers Auto was much more helpful and friendly and did his best to make sure we got what we needed. I would never recommend the Charm City Auto location to anyone and was very upset with their lack of concern and knowledge.

My son and I were confused because we thought we had paid for the you haul the pulley where we returned it. The man at the U home was saying something differenthe. We added a car pulley the next day to the U haul and paid for but when we dropped it all he was saying he had to find out how much we owed

Dolly was stored outside, and it was a rainy day when I picked up the truck and dolly. Storing the rental equipment closer together would reduce/ eliminate the inconvenience of inclement weather and be cleaner since the rain caused it to be a little muddy also

I hesitated to pull into this shop because it resembled more of a run down lot than a drop off location. The owner of the repair shop was very nice, the back half of his lot is rented out to somebody else so that may be why it looks off.

We filled more gas than we used and they still charged us for gas. We called to discuss this with the location and the guy who answered the phone refused to help us. He would only answer curtly call 1800Uhaul. Call 1800Uhaul. He also told my husband and “fuck you” before hanging up. We will never use this location or business again.

I rented two trucks here and specifically stated not to include the insurance multiple times. On one truck I was overcharged and never refunded what I was told I would be. On the other truck the gentleman at the front desk was beyond rude and aggressive. I told me multiple times I had to call uhaul on a mistake they made. I was going through a really rough time during the need for a moving truck and they really made my life even more difficult. Their customer service was horrible and I will never do business with that specific location. I’ve been treated with dignity as a human at other locations. I’m a small business owner and would never treat other people like I was treated there. I hold nothing against uhaul but would address their lack of not just customer service and teach them that they represent uhaul and no one knows what another is going through before treating another human being like trash. U-Haul guaranteed an 8AM pickup. I arrive shortly after 8AM to find the location closed. I proceeded to try and check out on the mobile app and ultimately received a call telling me the keys were in the ga tank, but I did not leave the facility until approximately 8:30AM.
