James CNo one was available at the appointed time of drop off. I had to call and wait 20 minutes for someone to get there. The posted phone number by the drop off box did not have an area code. Being new to the area, it was an extra step in contacting the owner by having to look up the area code. Without my own phone, this would have been a major issue.

Greg WI reserved my truck at Holden’s which was 3 miles from my home. I was notified the morning of pick up that I had to drive 30 miles to pick up my truck because Holden’s didn’t have one. This really messed up my timeline for my move putting my start time back an hour and a half and adding miles to my car and also to the truck. I wasn’t offered any monetary compensation for the time I lost or the extra mileage. The people at the pick up location were pleasant which was the only consolation. The lady that I spoke with at customer service was no help. She offered nothing except that this is just the way it is. I’m an unhappy and dissatisfied customer.

Randy RThe lady was very sweet. But when I got there I had to wait because the truck I was supposed to get had been dispatched but the lady handled the situation very politely and quickly. But my problem is with temperatures of 106 the air conditioning stopped working an hour before I got to my destination. Then it wouldn’t start once I got it in my driveway to unload. And on top of that on my way to drop vehicle off to uhaul location AC worked for about 2 minutes then the truck started to over heat. Turned AC off riding in 105 heat again to turn truck in. I let the people know at uhaul return, I also called the uhaul place I originally got truck from at least 6 times and no answer. I also made a complaint with uhaul department and the guy gave me 50 dollars back for my troubles. Out of 1000 dollars I was given 50 back when riding with no AC in heat advisory weather. Horrible experience. I just suggest if you rent please make sure vehicle is in good standing.
JAMAICA YAlways rent from Triple X or Hillibilly Mall if you are in the Washington Parish area. R & R Lawnmowers will scam you out of every dollar they can.
shalin wI was forced to go out of my way to pick up a U-Haul truck and it wasn't even the size that I needed plus the gas tank was not full of gas and I had to drive a huge truck that I was not prepared to drive. U-Haul is the worst company and I will never use U-Haul again. Today, U-Haul try to double charge me for my trip and that is illegal. Next time somebody reserves a truck in their city and they are forced to go to a new city to pick up a truck you better keep in mind that that is wrong and it should not even be legal for y'all to do that. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with

JOHN RWe thought Uhaul was a bad company. It isn't Uhaul, it is who you rent from. Triple X Auto, in Franklinton, is absolutely wonderful. Mrs. Helen is very nice and doesn't ever attempt to rip you off with hidden charges. R& R Lawnmower on the other hand, in Bogalusa, will lie, cheat, and steal from you if you do not check every single charge. It's not the company, it's where you rent the Uhaul, that makes the experience pleasurable or not.
SHALIN WTriple-X u-haul charged me for an extra day even though I rented the truck on the morning of 2/6 in Kenner and returned the key in the drop box that same day, the afternoon of 2/6. They apparently did not check it in until 10 am of 2/7 and charged me for their delay! I am trying to straighten this out now, but I should not have to deal with this..
CARL BUhaul is not the problem. It is the place you rent from that can cause you grief. After the awful scam I was involved in with R&R Lawnmower's Uhaul rental, I naturally blamed Uhaul. After the excellent service rental with Triple X, I realized Uhaul is not the culprit. Who you rent from makes the difference....thanks Mrs. Helen.

dale rRental experience was great. The person at Triple X got me checked in and out. With no delay. Trailer was clean and in good shape.
Danny HI went on- line to made my reservation. The pickup place personnel remade my drop off location, to call on arrival. I call the drop off location, which I chose on-line. They told to just drop off the trailer, because they were on lunch? Then they charged me $ 6.00 for a different drop off location?
Patrick FWas not impressed with the covered trailers. They did not have the means to Jack it up to place on a receiver! Had to use my floor jack to raise it up. Too heavy for the average person!!
Rino VI was going to rent from them from the start, but on the phone, the lady was not very friendly. I tried to book the first time and she told me that 3 weeks in advance was too far off for her to schedule. I needed to call back a week to a week and a half before to schedule a truck. The next time I called she was rude and told me she was closed and to call back the next day. I understand you may have been closed, but you don’t need to be rude. I went to another location to rent.
