Juan MartinezI’ve had some terrible experiences in the past with U-Haul, so I was hesitant to rent from them again. Fortunately this was not the case with this location. A business is only as good as the people who run it - and the folks here were polite, helpful and prompt.

KENNETH CARRQuestion: What is the one thing your customers expect when using the check-in App. Answer: KEYS. They want the keys.. Nothing else matters. So I'm using the App, the wifi is slow, but I'm getting through and suddenly the app wants me to take a photo of the odometer and fuel gauge. But how, I do not have the KEYS. So I figured I must have scrolled through the most IMPORTANT part of the check in process. But wait . . . there's more. U-HAUL does not have a PAGE BACK BUTTON. In other words, I could NOT GO BACK to previous pages to get my lock box code for the KEYS. So I use the Chat option. Except on a Saturday morning - many people can not get keys either so they are also on the chat feature. So I wait and wait and wait some more. Lucky for me - by this time the business is open and the employee gets me the keys. But wait . . . there's more. I call U-HAUl to complain about the NO PAGE BACK BUTTON on the app. The lady who answer my call on Sept 30, 2023, 0746 am (pacific time) was unable to help me stating, (and I quote), "I need to put you on hold while I research Google". Google? Why Google? You work for U-HAUL not GOOGLE. I guess that answer made sense to her. Thereafter, a few minutes later - she promptly hangs up on me. I now have a dead phone - but at least I got the KEYS. Sweet Jesus. U-HAUL. Save yourself. Do Better. Put a PAGE BACK BUTTON on the app. IF you do, please tell the "I gotta check Google lady" where that button is. I call back 30 minutes later (8:19 am) to talk to customer service as the family moving crew hadn't shown up yet and I want to know how this is going to end. Another lady answers the phone, I explain the issue and . . . wait for it . . . she didn't know either. Hello? Hello? Pffft pffft pffft - is this thing on? Doesn't anyone at UHAUL know how the app works.? Anyone? Perhaps hire a 13 yr old? They will figure it out without having to call Google

Raven KeeneProvide the equipment at the location where the original reservation was made. The original reservation was made at a location just a few blocks from where we live. The location where we had to pick it up at was clear across town, making it rather inconvenient and adding miles on the rental that we had to pay for, which cost us more than anticipated. Even if the original reservation location could not provide the truck, at least have it closer to where it was needed, not many miles away causing inconvenience, time and costs to be lost. This made the experience for less manageable and not really pleasant. It was frustrating as well as we called when we were notified of the location change to ask if there was a closer location and the agent wouldn't even work with us to try to provide a suitable solution.

Ashley GaingUpon arrival I had to go through a series of question and they had to call a friend to verify that I am who I say I am, uploading ID and payment. This took me 20 minutes. This should have all been required when maki the reservation. Who carries their passport when moving!

Therese WebsterRented an auto hauler; after loading vehicle it was noticed that ratchets used for tightening ‘hold down’ straps for front tires were in poor condition ( they did NOT ratchet freely; stiff and difficult to ratchet,) The process ultimately worked and transport to destination went well. I hope the ratchets get lubed for next user
