Will never rent a Uhaul again because of my experience with this person… the guy running the location (merchant ID 4445001687491) is very good at lying and not disclosing information. Very bad representation for Uhaul. He didn’t disclose many of the charges. Awful and deceitful human being.

Michael KI had a great experience 4 years ago with Angus at the Tartan Thistle so I returned a few days ago To rent again. I rented a cargo van for 2 days and a 10’ truck for 1 day. The trucks were available and they were great! Angus is friendly and very helpful. I’ll be back!

Sandra SI was pleasantly surprised that I had a relatively new cargo van to take on my nearly 2,000-mile trip. I had to adjust from driving my little car, but it was easy to drive with good mirrors, a back-up camera, and comfortable seats. The gas mileage was also a welcome surprise at nearly 20 MPG when I drove conservatively at highway speeds. The check-in/out experience was pleasant and efficient. I'll definitely use and recommend this location. Thanks for a good experience.

CINDY ARemote sign in was way too complicated. Took 25 minutes to go through all the steps. Front and back of drivers license should suffice. Having to list another contact and have them called by U Haul is over the top. Pricing is very misleading. Advertising $19.95 a day is far from reality. Our 4 hour rental cost $87 plus gas. I’d rather be told cost will be comfortably under $100 all in.

Mark DReserved a 15’ weeks in advance, got a call 2 days before pickup saying the only truck available was a 26’. Our trip was 230 mi each way, 460 round trip and it sucked thanks to the size of the truck. Why take reservations or say it’s available only to say B it’s not available at the last minute?
Michael SWhen we returned the truck after hours, the automated system read that there was an error and the return could not be properly completed. We returned the truck and were charged a 20 dollar "convenience" fee. This is unfair and may even be a scam. I have reported this and the shop owner said he didn't know how to refund the fee and I should call his supervisor. The supervisor has not returned my call. I will be reporting this to the BBB. Low dollar scams often go unnoticed, so if it is one, at least someone may look into it.

Thomas PHad a little trouble with after hours key pick up box, BUT was overall very good concept and was able to talk with a U-Haul customer service person on the phone and this saved the day. Otherwise would have been total loss and never would u-haul again and never recommend to anyone.
Ian TI was there early, ready to pickup 15 minutes before they open(9:30pm) and the guy showed up 30 minutes late and then didn’t even check my vehicle or anything until I asked to have it hooked up properly. Also didn’t say sorry for being late. The trailer looked like it’s been sitting there, had some rust and but looked mechanically sound and worked good. I was mad but didn’t want to delay my time anymore then it already was so I just went with it.
