The location was fine however, incurring further charges on my account for a truck that was returned 3 hours early is absolute nonsense! My bank account was charged an additional $210.44 for no reason!! I originally placed the order for park ave w. Upon arrival I waited 10 minutes for the girl to get off her phone and wait on me, she was rude and was told they didn’t have the truck I wanted. Was sent to park ave e. Was told I could return at the other location but upon arrival was told I’d be charged double if I did so and found out there was in fact trucks there that morning, the girl apparently was too busy on her phone to do her job! I took truck back to park ave e 3 hours prior to being due. It was clean, gassed up. I received my receipt with charges for $72.55 and thought it was all good. A week later I received a text and email stating the truck was not returned and they were charging my account. I filed a dispute, heard nothing back from anyone and found they had charged my account an additional $210.44 as of 3/20/24!! I will never rent from U-Haul again!! Now I have to file a police report and dryad dispute with my bank. What an absolute crap show!
Michelle REverything. The dealer you guys sent me to should not be responsible for sharing/using any of the U-Haul items. They don’t have any idea what to do. Took money out of my account. And literally refused to check the U-Haul in after it was returned until the next day almost 24 hours later. I’m beyond livid.
