U-Haul customer service is worthless. I had rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer. It was not onsite when I arrived. Scheduling told me I could drive 2 hours out of my way to get the trailer size I reserved. What is the point of making a reservation. The reservation guarantee is meaningless. I have rented a lot of equipment from U-Haul and this was by far the worst experience. Good thing the dealer was nice and helpful.

CONTESSA SThere was an unseen, small broken piece of furniture making it almost impossible to close the rear door without Herculean effort. It took me almost 30 mins to close the door delaying travel. I finally discovered the broken piece which should have been found when the trailer was turned in by the previous customer during inspection.

Clinton MI waited have the truck inspected at drop off only to be told the Uhaul representative was out sick. After retrieving the keys I was told the truck would be checked in and I was good to go. The next day I get hit with cleaning fees. I was not there for an inspection and the truck was swept before return. No food or drink were consumed in the truck. And the graffiti was on the truck at origin. Customer service was not a priority at this location. Waited twenty-five minutes for a furniture transaction to be completed, to later be charged for debris I didn't see? I took all precautions from extra insurance, roadside, filling up past requirements and sweeping the truck. To hit me with a cleaning fee is laughable. Slightly irritated and highly disappointed.

Jermall BHave vehicles available and set up for 24/7 like it is advertised instead of having to wait until they open. Also allow to check in vehicle with customer in presence so that accurate notation can be made etc. gas level and miles. The rep added 2 miles I have pictures with time stamp but she refuses to return my 2 miles. Customer service skills would helped the most employees lack those.

Customer services was horrible all I heard was about home a police customer was being rude . My c/s person just kept talking about the situation while she was waiting on me she had to ask for my license and debit cared twice the # was entered wrong she was talking sooo much.

jerry eI’m very disappointed in this experience!! We had to wait 30 minutes to get it because some system issues. Then the truck had much less gas than I was told. I took pictures of it, and upon return, we filled it up past the line we picked it up on.. I was still charged outrageous gas fees, even though the truck was not as “full” as they said it was. I have pictures for reference. I called yesterday after receiving my bill, but did not have time for the estimated 40-50 minute hold time.. I will be calling back or please have someone contact me.
