Randall ROur rental agent told us we could take the truck back to any Uhaul place, but that was not the case. The return facility closest to us was not to our liking so we were rerouted to an actual Uhaul center.

Mendi CDon't waste the customers time by waiting for repairs because of improper or lack of safety inspection prior to rental. I imagine uhaul already has a policy in place, but that does not account for complacency. Make the your rental location accountable for wasting MY time by prorated compensation for repair time lost. You owe me 4.5 hours... but all I ever get is "I'm sorry for the inconvenience "

Mike BWhen I returned my U-haul to this location the woman who helped me was extremely nice and welcoming. After she did her inspection of the equipment she told us that there is a very specific way U-haul renting locations are supposed to inspect their equipment prior to renting them out to customers. She inspected the chains on the car tow dolly that I rented and said they were “far from up to standard” and showed me the tool they are supposed to use to measure chains. So I’m lucky nothing happed to my car as well as most of my household goods. I told her about the damage to the equipment and she asked if the location that I picked the U-haul up from did their own inspection prior to renting it out to me. I will never again rent from U-haul nor will I ever recommend U-haul to anyone.
Justin TScheduled a 20ft uhaul truck and an appliance dolly on Providence Blvd. I was informed that despite my reservation days in advance the vehicle would have to be picked up at the College St location. Upon arrival the appliance dolly wasn’t there. So to get the two things I needed I had to go to two separate locations.

JAMES STell the driver about operating the rear view mirrors on the side of truck, I was looking for a control inside the cab of truck. I needed to know about them being manually adjusted.
