Zero customer service here. The woman at this location made me feel I was bothering her. When I stated I wanted to drop off the truck she was like I don't think I can accept it with an attitude. It was like I was asking her to make me a favor.

I ordered a dolly and a cart, but it wasn't in the truck. Luckily the storage unit where my belongings were had a dolly that I could use. i even confirmed my truck and dolly the day before.

Tell the main Uhaul office that sent me to this alternative location for a 7am appointment: you can't get a dolly before they open at 9am, and there is a “night pick up key box” (that is not seen in the dark, no light on it). We weren't told either of these things. It put our day 2 hours behind.

I had the worst experience with uhaul this time around. I will never rent another uhaul truck. I plan to leave this location terrible reviews on a daily basis. I booked a 24/7 rental. My truck was not checked in the night before because of a lazy staff. Then it rained and the trucks roof leaked. All my stuff got wet. Unbelievable.

This location is inside a gated storage locker facility. Had I known that upfront I would have used a regular U-Haul location. Ended up having to pay 30-40$ more than i should have been charged and given conflicting info about app use. The app still says in use two days later … but “no sir you can't use the app at this location” is what i was told.

I'm 72 years old, not very "techy". I struggled with the phone pick-up process. Take a picture of yourself, upload, picture of front of license, scan the back, have someone verify I'm really me!!!! Not very user friendly for someone who isn't comfortable with technology.

There was no issue with the dealer, however there is a significant problem with U-haul corporate. I have been a long time customer with an account and rented 3-4 trucks yearly to move myself, friends and family. Recently, the cost of a uhaul has significantly increased, sometimes two to three times what it was a year ago. I have had sporadic problems with the last two rentals with getting the equipment where i wanted to and returning it. This move my reservation was changed 4 times before pickup as was my pickup location, changed twice. I was sent 15 miles further to pickup but was given no additional miles to compensate for the 30 mile round trip. Uhaul employees in the call center were short and to the point and were not interested in my concern or distress. It is apparent, Uhaul is only about the money now and we the customers are there to save them money by returning vehicles to places convenient for them, not us and picking up where they decide and if your truck is not available then to bad. Effective with this move i am done with them, tho i am sure they dont care. I will pay more with someone else than put up with Uhaul any longer.!

Firstly, the lack of parking and space for the uhaul trucks at this location is awful. When we eventually found the small lot that you return the truck to there were no spaces available. We called the store and they said “We don't have any space, you'll have to return it to another location.” Why did no one contact me beforehand to tell me there was no space? They had my reservation and knew I was going to be returning the truck to them so someone should've contacted me ahead of time. Moving on, they made space for us and then one of the employees asked us to reverse the truck into a ridiculously tight space at an awkward angle with absolutely no room to turn the truck around. We weren't comfortable with doing so because 1) we don't have much experience driving bigger trucks and 2) we didn't want to hit another vehicle and get fined. All in all we had a pretty terrible experience at both locations. Staff weren't the friendliest and the lack of communication was frustrating to say the least. As someone who has worked in retail for most of my career it takes a lot for me to have anything negative to say and I'm usually understanding, but this was a bad experience at both stores.

Manager was rude and told me I was doing it wrong as I was trying to check in with the truck through the. App on my phone. I have done it many times before and she was very rude telling me that I was doing it wrong and then I had to come into her office and almost made me sound like I was stealing the truck. Then when I returned the truck. The app would not take the pictures of the odometer and the gas. Gauge and allow me to continue which. Caused me to be late to church. Which is unacceptable to me and to God. At that point, the manager was not available for. Any type of. Assistance. And I had to drop the keys in. And. My account. Was charged three times when it only should have been charged once, causing three NSF charges of $35 each. That I cannot afford. I am severely disappointed with U-Haul and would like a refund for. My time. As it was a complete waste and a complete disaster. The truck broke down and I was two seconds from calling in your. AAA or whatever service you use, but that probably wouldn't have gone very well either. So I called my. Cousin who is an auto mechanic and. He was able to get it going, but. If I don't see any type of. Change or. Resolution. I will be seeking legal action. I am so glad that y'all allowed me to send a review because I was wondering how I was going to relay this message if I need to. I will talk to the President of the company. And get all you fired. I live on a fixed income. and this might be OK with a lot of people because they have a lot of money but this severely has disrupted my way of living and now can't pay bills.

I used the mobile app to pick up and return the truck. it took 45 minutes to pick up the truck and 30 minutes to check it in at drop off. This took extra time that I did not have, EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!

It is not what I would consider a PRIMARY U-haul facility, and as such has limited inventory of available equipment. Therefore, it may not be a "first choice" for someone wanting to rent equipment.

Poor experience! Little help from location after I found it was closed and had to do self checkin. Worst oart was calling corporate help number and finding out had at least a 20 minute wait. The the icing On the cake live chat!! Sent at least four messages over 30 minutes and to this date no reply. This was dead chat not live chat. I made too mistakes one not understanding I had yo do self check as I assumed location would be open! Second, using uhaul. Charges ended up being outrageous. Given a choice my next rental will not be with uhaul albeit they are the only company I have used over the years. Never again!!!

The self check out was very cumbersome. Everything has to be done on the app, including taking pictures. You cannot upload pictures taken while sitting in the trucking at the lot off of your phone. This is not explained very well. I was on hold for 45 minutes trying to return the truck and found out that they cannot upload my picture. Thankfully, the lot that we rented from did not charge us any extra for completing the return.

Absolutely worse moving experience of my life. Truck did not have any of the equipment that I reserved. Customer service did not offer any solution. I was hung up on and transferred multiple times. Nothing was resolved and I was charged for the equipment that was never provided. This was not only poor service but it was theft. It was illegal and I will be following up accordingly

Well maintained - it was not restocked. There were no pads in the truck. there was a loose appliance dolly we did not rent in it. We ordered, and were charged for, furniture pad rental. However, there were no pads in the truck and after repeated attempts, no credit has been given. Also, it took a full month for us to get a receipt.

My entire moving trip was a fiasco because of you and those who represent you. The tow dolly is terrible for turns since the angle is restricted. The piece of equipment I got has an electrical short--according to the location that gave it to me (Lincolnshire) and a Baldwin MO location that took a look at my car. FYI, that is two UHaul locations that admitted the tow dolly messed up my car electrical components. Because of the equipment's electrical short, my car fuses blowed up and I did not have running lights; therefore, I could not drive during the night. My trip was delayed 36 hours since it was dangerous for me to drive overnight. I had to spend more than $60 extra on reflective tape and fuses and an additional $120 extra on lodging. Furthermore, my car currently does not have front park lights. Everything on my car worked fine before the wiring installation at UHaul by a "certified" technician. I hope someone contacts me with a solution plan to fix the issue on my car. That is only the electrical part. During my trip, one of the tow dolly's straps snapped. This happened while I was driving on a busy highway. It was a hazard for my family and other drivers. The solution was simple: None of the UHaul locations cared for bringing the part to me. I had to drive about 1 hour total to get the part replaced. I have to admit that one of them did assisted me on escorting me to a safe location, but I was on my own after that. I thought that when I returned the equipment the bad experience was going to be done. I was wrong. The day I returned the equipment. I drove to the drop off location. The locations clerk indicated on a phone call that I could just leave the equipment in a specific area that was unattended and no fencing was around it. It made sense since I saw more Uhaul trailer there. The day after dropping off the tow dolly, I recieved a text message warning me about my due date It was going to expire and I was going to get charged more if I did not return the item. It was hilarious that the staff at the dropped of location had not checked in my equipment yet. I had to call them and push them to check on the equipment. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience all across the board. You set my trip to failure and endangered the well being of my family. I hope someone contacts me to follow up on this fiasco.

The only problem was with the app. It was very slow although I had full cell coverage. There were also “technical difficulties” the morning I checked in. So my 8:00 AM pick up ended at 9:00 AM. I might have well waited for the office to open. Thankfully the equipment was great and the return went well.

The gas gauge is broken. I put in about 15 gallons and the gas needle never reached 11/16 tank I was supposed to return the truck at. I took a picture of the gauge and the receipt. I only went about 18 miles in the truck.
