ahmed AVery rude and inpatients in storageblue Baldwin Avemue location. Blonde Lady in front desk, I think her name is Jaime, she's very rude and unhelpful person. I picked up my reservation Uhaul Truck, I checked everything before I drive the truck, I find out the door it's not closing and empty gas and not same on the paper, I came back to the desk And Told to the lady the problems, she dont want to help me and She said I need to call the Uhaul and tell the problem. I said I need her help, I don't know what uhaul no# customer service, and I told her I need to change the uhaul Truck coz the door it's not closing and not safe. I told her I saw extra 2 or 3 same 15feet uhaul Truck to change it and she dont want to change it and she shouting for no reason. And she want to cancel my reservation and I never to ask to cancel it. Many times I renting Uhaul Truck in different locations and I don't have a any problem. Only in StorageBlue Baldwin Avenue the worst and Bad customer service. Never again that location.
DENNIS AI wanted to pay less but as i only drove for one way i had to pay more as the plan of that is set at 121$. It was so disappointing that paying that much instead of 19.95$+ mile charges and gas. In total i paid 155$ where i went to rent it expecting it to one of the best and cheapest options available. I was expecting around 80$ in total. But anyway it's not like I didn't know about all the charges it's that i didn't have other options.

John ODouble charged on rental and insurance. Be careful and review your receipt carefully. A nightmare to get it corrected.
ROBERT YThis particular U-Haul rental site had no Moving Blankets. I didn't find this out until I got there to rent the van. (190 Baldwin Ave, Jersey City NJ 07306) And this site NEVER carries Moving Blankets. Disappointing,

fredian cWe were unable to adjust the truck's mirrors for safely driving purposes. They seem to be stuck. Which it might just be that way and I didn't know.
Jacqueline SIm incredibly disappointed with my experience. I had a reservation for 8am, but the U-Haul staff “overslept” and did not arrive until 8:45am to give me the truck. I had to call my movers to show up later, because I had to wait for this person to show up to work late. When he arrived, he did not even apologize for being so late. I also requested moving materials (moving pads/cloths/blankets), and he said none were available. This also inconvenienced my move. Will probably not go through U-Haul again for truck rental.

Robert LVan had warning lights requiring an oil change and tire pressure issues, which bothered me but otherwise fine.
Christopher GThe desk rep never explained a rental period is limited to 2 or 3 hours. U-haul ended up charging me for two rental period, even when we returned the vehicle before the closing of this office at 7:30 pm. Around 6:45 pm, we received a call from this desk rep who told us that she has reported this vehicle has been stolen, since it has not been returned 3 hours after the starting of rental. Should we check with NJ police department whether we have reported as thief? Or criminal? We are extremely afraid to rent from U haul again, since we don’t want to become thief or criminal again.
lin cThe truck was fairly clean and had a pleasant smell however it appeared to have some sort of issue to which it would not appropriately accelerate speed causing it to utilize an increased amount of gas. The truck also had a loud tapping noise coming from under the hood when running. I would recommend the Harrisburg pickup location but not the New Jersey drop off location as there was no accessible parking for the truck upon return and no clear instructions as to where to park the truck if returning after hours.

Maximilian MTruck was clean. Service was excellent. My only complaint was the trucks check engine light was on, then message of 0% oil life left. We should not have been given a truck that needed service. Also they claimed the fuel was 1/4 full it was not — it was less than 1/8 causing me to run out of gas before I could get to a station….not good people not good at all.
Nicholas GThey gave me another truck it was not the truck I supposed to have . Fuel level was low only 1/4 was available fuel . I have a picture of it when i started to drive . And overcharged me . It was supposed to be 53 to 54 $ and they charged me 73 $ and I returned the tuck at same fuel level as i got the truck

Danays RThe truck's gas tank was broken. When the gas attendant tried to refill the tank it overflowed as if full when the gauge read "1/4 tank". I brought it to the attention of the service writer, but was still charged a gas fee.

Zahid UI received my uhaul completely on empty. When the truck turned on, the light for the gas being empty was already on. Thankfully my apartment was only 5 minutes away. I filled up the truck so it wouldn’t turn off on me.

Keys to the truck tossed at me and directed to find my own rental. UHaul huge conglomerate when you outsource your buisness beware of the poor business man with no ethics respect no decency ! They represent you Uhaul! In the process of filing complaints up the ladder. Horrific experience Horrific!

tackla wThe scheduling process over the phone by someone not at the location you are renting the uhaul from. When u arrive often times its something totally different from what was discussed on the phone with a different person not at that location.
