The front clerk doesn’t know the rental processes. I have to wait for her to called others to help. Took a long time to get the truck rental.

cathy SThe Uhaul 10' truck I rented was missing headlight knobs/buttons on the console. It was not noticed until sundown and I was unable to turn on headlights. I had to drive dangerously in the dark with limited road lighting to return the vehicle and could have had collisions.

Ella BThis is not a review specifically for the Benson location, it is for the location on 4th street and the Benson location as I had to visit both since neither of them offered both moving supplies and a truck. My supplies I pre-ordered were not packed ahead of time. When I arrived and the associate went to pack them up for me, she notified me that they were out of stock. So the entire order had to be cancelled. I was able to shop in the store for what they did have and buy it at the time which completely negated the purpose of pre-ordering. Additionally, I did not buy furniture pads ahead of time because I opted for furniture pads in the Uhaul when I picked it up. At pickup I was informed there were no furniture pads at that location. If I had known this, I could have bought furniture pads when I was at the other Uhaul location earlier that day. I was also told that the truck had half a tank of gas and to return it to half a tank, however the gas tank was on empty when I got in. I filled the tank but it would have been better to not mention it at all than to give inaccurate information. Both Uhaul locations I visited on moving day failed to provide adequate service.

Kendra MIt would be nice to know that the moving supplies rentals were not a thing at this location - it added time and mileage to my trip by having to go to another location. The other location ended up being out equipment and had one furniture dollie for sale. It sucks because I really like uhaul but that added a lot of stress to an already stressful day. For general vehicle rental the location is fine but if you need dollies, just do more research than I did.
Christina HCheck your vehicles before you send them out.. Was sent out in a truck that would not hold gas fuel. The attendant was 35 mins late opening the store. 2nd vehicle (van) was dirty also. Overal vehicle was not in good shape.

Alvin BThe U-Haul truck was as expected. Clean and ready to go. It only had a 1/4 tank of gas but I returned it almost 1/2 full. The clerk was 20 minutes late when the door stated they opened at 9am and the sign said "Open" when no one was actually there. She was carrying a coffee and said it was "her Monday" and "Blame the lateness on her boss" What?? I was angry she was late already. She didn't know how to work the computer to check me in and I had to correct her multiple times. The check out was just as bad as the same lady was confused and asked me to check myself out. Later she said she would do it and I was waiting for her to finish while she was texting on her phone. She later said "oh, you can leave now, I will take care of this" She was clearly under some stress or just confused. I will never visit that place again. I am just so upset and having to deal with this woman. Her card said Jordan Moa but probably not really her business card. ...never again! ugh
Robert P$238.00 was insane for 24hrs and 74 miles. 1.89 a mile is ridiculous expensive. Especially with gas prices the way they are.

Victoria CI ran less than 5 miles distance as a maximum moving a sofa set in local, but they said and charged me with 20 miles. Not acceptable, but be forced to charge.

RODERICK BI don’t understand as to why the track consumed 5 gallon for 35 miles. Its very puzzling and have not gotten a satisfactory answer from sales person. It would be very transparent to quantify the amount of full in tank rather that saying its full. Since we can have different levels of fullness for each individual.

SAYAKA OVery bad customer service and got charged three times because they don't have a dropbox. I always use them but this time was the worst and I will not recommend them to my enemies.

Jeremy HThe location and vehicle were not an issue. The vehicle was dirty, but it ran well and got the job done. The disgusting business practices of Uhaul is a major issue. On your website, I was quoted $44 which is double the price shown on the van, but still seemed reasonable. Then when I already have my unchangeable plans, you guys go and charge me $76 to do a quick pick up and drop off a few cities away. I’m sure you’ve got some fine print somewhere covering your asses, but it’s still rude and dishonest and I will be using any company but uhaul next time.

Steven OI ensed up kicking myself for initially booking 4 hours. If UHaul is going to charge a day rate, I should get the van for 24 hours. The woman at the location sorted it out for me, but it's annoying that it was an issue. The van was awkwardly small for a wardrobe box. The pickup process was confusing. And if I have to see someone at the end to get the key anyway, I'm not sure how it's better than if I just walked into the store right off the bat.
