My truck did not have the requested items (furniture pads and dolly) - the office worker was unable to help as this location does not stock any items. She was able to quickly edit the reservation and remove them from my bill, but it was frustrating.

Henry PThis vehicle does need some attention. There is wheel/tire vibration at 60mph. Also, there may be a slight miss in the engine.
Kevin PIt took me 40 minutes and 3 tries to pickup the tuck online. The first two times the agent said mu documents cannot be verified without suggesting any help. The 3rd time it worked. I booked from the same place last month and picked up online and it was OK!

Sebastian CHave longer store hours that begin earlier in the day. Your remote application for picking up/returning trucks is still a pain where you sit down. It's your people that make the difference, not some hokey phone application.
STEPHEN TYour website is literally unusable from the phone for mobile check-in/check-out. I have "location services" enabled, and every other website I go to has no issue determining my location. But since yours doesn't, I couldn't check my vehicle out or in, and had to pay a "after-hours fee"
Michael SConvenient location but the truck wasn't fully clean and there were lots of unmarked damage. We also never received the email notifying us of equipment we couldn't rent. It ended up costing double what I expected and we could have rented elsewhere instead for the same price.
Rachel CThis isn’t a granular enough survey. I don’t know whether this location set up the truck so I don’t want to rate them low in case they didn’t. HOWEVER. if they did then I would lower all my scores. There were a bunch of cigarette butts in one of the dashboard pull outs and the whole cab smelled like smoke. As a former smoker this was a big source of frustration. Also the caddy was just thrown into the back and not clipped into its designated space. I know how easy that is to accomplish because I did it myself so that was also quite frustrating. Also the app crashed on me during the check in. That is not the fault of the location but hopefully someone sees. All in all, these are not deal breakers and we will most likely use this location again as I don’t know for sure if this is the fault of a specific U-Haul hub or perhaps even the previous user. That is why I didn’t give negative marks.
Kevin Btried to pick up truck early using truck share the truck was there but the sight would not let me go any farther than scanning my license. tried calling the help line got put on hold for over 30 min. finally got a hold of someone they transferred me then hung up on me this happened 2 more times. made me very upset I had wait until they opened up over 2 hours late. the worst experience ever. made me late on delivering wedding stuff to my sons wedding. never use the pickup my truck using truckshare

When it became available during the week, they switched me to the small truck, as we discussed. That's what excellent customer service looks like. I would feel good to come back to this location because of the way I was treated.
Bernard vImprove your check-in and check-out online application. It was cumbersome to navigate. We used the online service to check-in the truck. It was convenient to have the clerk perform this process which we did when we were checking out the truck.

The only saving grace was speaking to a customer service representative named Cheryl who was wonderful, apologetic over the terrible service provided by the ‘manager’ and made the experience tolerable. Please promote Cheryl she was amazing!

Abdelillah BEverything was great. Needed the truck for an additional day on short notice and they made it work. Was moving into a house and getting the utilities in place in a timely manner was a challenge. The uhaul rental was the only thing that went smoothly.
Joel LImprove the rental process. There are too many steps in the rental process/app and once I arrived at the vehicle it took a lot longer than I thought it would to be “approved” to get the keys. Why not pre-approve so when I show up at the vehicle I can just get the keys and go? Also, Why do I have to take so many photos? I was expecting the app-based rental process to be easier than going to the counter but it was not.

Cono PThe representatives that assisted me were very professional and did their jobs well. My problem was with the equipment and billing. I believe that the stated 7/8 of a tank in the vehicle was inaccurate. I drove just under 15 miles and put 3 gallons of gas in the truck, a receipt for the gas was provided to the representatives. When I look at the bill there appears to be a charge for 1.9 gallons to refill the vehicle. With that distance traveled and the gas I out in there is no way the initial reading could have been accurate. Is it my responsibility to confirm the gas level from inside the physical location before even seeing the truck? Should the representative have confirmed the gas level with me after visual inspection of the vehicle? I am requesting that you refund this gas surcharge before you complete this transaction.

CATHERINE SThe customer service when picking up and dropping off was unbeatable, hands down this employee should get a raise, she stayed late to help me, I moved myself in two days so naturally I was so tired and sore and moving so slow so returning the vehicle 48 hrs later, I had to make two trips so I did twice the mileage and needed to switch cards for the total. She did this with a smile and helped me right away at closing time on top of her other paper work. The vehicle and equipment were clean, we had difficulty getting the combo lock to take at first when picking it up but she stayed and figured out the correct combo as her coworker wrote down the wrong one. She did never lost her composure and provided excellent service both times.

Ebony CThis location was great, and the person that helped us was great. However, we were only helped at this location because at the time of our reservation, there was no one present at our original pickup location. The Hubert street location was closed and locked during operating hours/the time of our reservation. There was a sign on the door stating they would return at noon. This was the same day as the Raleigh Christmas parade. My guess is they left to watch it. If not for the woman working at the tryon location, we would have been unable to obtain our reserved truck. It was a nightmare. So, while we were saved by a fantastic employee, I will go incredibly far out of my way to ensure I never do business with Uhaul in any capacity henceforth. Just thought someone should know.
RAVEM DThe truck we got is very old, we couldn't lock the back door when we returned the truck. Lady at reception was nice. Next time looking forward to a newer truck.
Haoyu WNeed parking a few parking spaces, or make sure it is clear that there are none when signing up online. I do not know how one person would be able to use a uhaul if they can't leave their car as well.
Andrea BMy experience was fine. I did have an issue, that I'm not sure if you're aware of or not but in North Carolina do you have to have a sticker to bring items to the dump. They would not let me dump my trash. All you have to do is tell your customers to go on the website and get a sticker. Because of that I had to pay more money in mileage, due to the fact I had to drive all over to find someone that would take my trash.

Elias BUhaul truck sputtered the whole trip. Air conditioning fan was in and out the whole time. The truck smelled horrible. My mileage fee was supposed to drop after 100 miles but I see I was gouged for .99 per mile. Never again!
