I received absolutely horrible, disrespectful and insulting experience I ever had with Uhaul. Gentlemen from Stereo 1 (Travis) was incredibly rude when i picked up the car, and when i returned the vehicle. During my interaction with him, he swore at me, called me vulgar names, including stupid, idiot, swore at me numerous times, pretend that Uhaul system was not working refusing to service me. I am absolutely shocked that Uhaul organization allows Stereo 1 operate on its behalf. After my experience I checked Google reviews for this location and almost everyone had similar experiences. It is hard to believe that Uhaul has not done anything to rectify this experience.

I did not got the gasoline level when I picked up the uhaul through mobile pickup. I filled the tank based on my estimate, however, I was charged more than $40 for my trip.

The app wouldn't allow me to pickup the truck easily. It was slow and kept giving me errors. I waiting for 45 minutes to finally be able to pick up the truck I rented. I was very frustrated as I was losing moving time and had to pay extra to use the elevator in my new building as I went past the time I was allowed to use it due to not being on time because of the wait time for the truck. Now impressed at all.

Worst location. I would advise everyone to avoid this location. I had reserved the Appliance dolly, however to my surprise it wasn't there in the truck. Truck parking is 200-300m away from shop and he would expect you to pick dolly from the store. I had filled gas to the same level as it was given to me (uploaded pics to Uhaul), however this guy charged me $20 extra. Very unprofessional when I called him to clarify.

Bro your app is trash. It took 55 years to get the truck. I had to call and took 45 minutes just to get a truck. Same thing when I had to return it. You definitely need to enter 2023. It should be way more straightforward.

Everything good, the only issue was at checkout when I wrongly entered the final mileage. I did it after leaving the key in the dropbox (is the first time I do it online) so when checking at my fotos for the mileage I selected the one I took right after picking up the truck and not the last one. Please charge the difference to my card. Thanks.

Vidya has helped me on a couple of occasions and she is definitely a go to for prompt , knowledgeable and courteous service. I go past a closer U-Haul in my area because the service at this location has been professional and very responsive to customer needs.

I was disappointed that I was told the truck cube van was a 15foot truck,it was not.It was a 12.5 ft with a 2.5 ft cube loft,not a true 15 ft truck,shame on you!

There was only a 15foot truck available which I booked two weeks in advance for two days. I needed the 20 foot truck but it was being serviced. So I asked when I booked the 15' truck to switch it to the 20 ' truck when the service was complete. When the 20' truck service was completed you booked it for only one day. I stayed with the 15' but wanted the 20foot. Hence, I had to do more trips and my return was on the Monday of the long weekend at 10am. I called to extend the return time and the service agent was going to give me a day and charge me. NOT PLEASED.

Sat in the parking lot beside my truck for 15 minutes waiting for your terrible website and app to load (no data connectivity issues as I had enough time to test other websites plus a speedtest). Then spent another 25 minutes waiting for your online check in to approve my rental. No response to chat messages and also stuck on hold with your phone system. When you're moving out of a condo and only have an elevator for a set amount of time, this is infuriating. That's not even considering the wasted time someone that hired movers would lose. Get your act together U-Haul.

This was the worst U-Haul experience. The person in uhaul location was rude, angry and behaved inappropriately. I asked him some questions about the location of the keys and he told me you're idiot and then in front of my girlfriend saying more inappropriate words. I ordered two equipment for moving (dolly) but in the car was only one I asked him about them and he told me idiot should i make another one for you? It was the worst customer service experience, i am very upset about it that I might reflect that to media to warn people going to that location he is so angry.

I've only rented Uhaul twice, the first time was at a different location. Last time, they provided a disc lock for me to use which I thought was normal practice. This location didn't, and I had to use a standard dudley lock. For a one day rental, a lock should be provided, I find it very cheap that it's not. The truck itself was fine, and clean, it ran very well. The gas was just before the line they would charge me at, good thing I only used it for 5 miles. Last time, the other location in Concord had it on almost empty Overall at stereo 1 it was an okay experience, would I go back? I'm not sure, I might just try Ryder or another company next time.

The truck was very clean and the equipment was really good. The lady in the reception was super nice. But the gentleman who checked me out in the evening was very rude and I'm really disappointed by his attitude. Would never to go this location again!

Rude personnel at Rental Pick Up Location Stereo 1

Tried to check in through the mobile app - didn't work Had to go inside and talk to the clerk Clerk asked me a few questions and told me my card would be authorized on file. Returned the rental after hours Did mobile truck return. Took all my pictures I needed to take through the app and all was well. Went to drop off the key into the after hours drop box and it is not accessible. Was on a call with U-Haul customer service for over an hour for an alternative solution before I was able to leave. When I got a chance to review my receipt I saw that I was charged the damage waiver - which I never agreed to. Overall not a great experience with this location. Not my first choice to be honest.

Had very rude and unprofessional service from the worker at the front desk. Spoke rudely to all of my family members and when asking questions the front desk worker either did not know the answer or made it seem like we were stupid and should not be asking. He gave us the incorrect price at first until we corrected him and then he changed it to the correct price. When paying on the credit card machine there was a statement that said something along the lines of, "ask us about our free boxes we offer," When we attempted to ask the front desk worker, we were told very rudely, "I have no idea, you can call and ask Uhaul, I don't know or care." As first time movers we found this extremely unhelpful and rude. Additionally was told many different things from different people, as we were relocated to a different location for the pick up, we were not expecting our time to move from 9am pick up to a 10am pick up. When trying to explain our situation we were told we have no option and must return the truck by 2pm, despite when creating the original booking the worker stated we would have 6 hours, this location was giving us 4. I understand that there was a booking right after but the lack of understanding, listening and rude comments from the front desk member who stated things like "okay see what will happen if you do not return on time." was off putting and unprofessional to the extreme. Finally when exiting the building we were picking up the trolley we rented, and were taking a look at how it would function before leaving (as someone who has never used a trolley would want to do before leaving the building in case of any questions.) and while doing so the same front desk worker yelled at us to get out and take a look at the trolley outside as he did not want us to leave the door open. At this point we were bound to get upset as well because this has been 15-20 mins of unprofessional, rude comments being thrown at us. Additionally after this pick up experience I attempted to call UHaul to file a complaint, and was told that a general manager will give us a call regarding all of this, and we never received that call. Over the phone the lady was taking notes which was appreciated however, we still felt as though nothing was really done to make this experience better. We felt there was no understanding or sympathy from anyone involved. Thank you for your time.

It would be better if each store had a phone number where you can reach the store you rented the truck from in case of questions. I don't like that you have to go through the 1-800 number for inquiries. Everything else is fine. I had no issues.
