TERENCE TThe customer service rep was surly. The “store” was filthy and quite frankly a dump. And this was after I received a last minute call from UHaul moving my pickup location 45 minutes away from the original location - which added 1.5 hours of time (driving there and back to the house) for two people.

Scott FWe live in iron mountain michigan, we had to drive to sturgeonbay Wisconsin to rent a cargo van. That was the closet location for a cargo van.142 miles away from our home.
Sara BI actually did on online/after hours drop off but I've been in this store many times. Always helpful. Cell service is weak in that area; online turn in was slooooow.
WILLIAM SI was sent a confirmation to pick a trailer up at 7:15 when in fact the location didn't open until 8:00 . This caused me great inconvenience.

DARIN BI ordered a van. I got my order sent over to a different location for a 10 foot truck. I did not want a truck.Took me time to get my order flipped back over to the place with a van. Linda was supper nice helped me get things right. Had to do a paper contract due to computer issues. Maintenence should be done after hours on the computer not when people are to use things.

milton lThe U-Box I received was damaged where some type of object had rammed the side and split the plywood, leaving a hole open to the elements, which could have let mice in, had I not alerted them to this. I didn’t notice it until I had moved my 2 heaviest items in, so I wasn’t going to unpack to get a new box. Shore to Shore fixed it from the outside after I dropped it off, as I had asked, but it should never had allowed to be rented out in that condition.

Kerrick GThe truck was not washed. It had a huge graffiti on one side, and the windshield wiper blades were so worn-out I was afraid that they would come off. Also, the truck was on 3/8s filled with gas, so I topped it off (as there is no way to calculate milage or tank capacity), and thus did not use most of the $80 I put in.
Chris SI had both a positive and a very negative experience. The woman who managed the paperwork was prompt, knowledgable and courteous. The man who went out to the lot to connect the trailer to my vehicle was aggressive, rude, very unclear in his instructions and made it seem like a customer was the greatest inconvenience he had to endure. I was so relieved to have the trailer hooked up so that I could leave. I have worked with this location before on several occasions. The woman who runs the place is hard working and efficient. The guy she has working with her is abrupt, rude, and could not make a customer feel more unwelcome if he tried. I will not rent from this location again.

Catharine LShore to Shore is the staple here for renting just about anything. Friendly staff there too. The smallest rented cargo van is quite nice with electric mirrors, windows, and backup camera display makes backing up a cargo van with big blind spots easier. The van was great for transporting a huge TV from Best Buy to my house that wouldn't fit in car.
tim mThe trailer was clean but old and had no capacity to cushion the bumps. It was impossible to keep the furniture from moving around even with blankets and rope ties.

Thomas HI went to the new U-Haul store in Sturgeon Bay to reserve the trailer. They looked up my account, which was in my husband’s name. Because he passed away 18 months ago. I gave them my updated contact info. The night before my early morning pick-up, some employee in Milwaukee called my dead husband’s cell phone and left him a message that the pick-up location had changed. This was a very painful start to a long day of pulling a trailer. The woman at the new location (Shore to Shore) was wonderful and professional. Whether the employees at the new store didn’t bother to record my data or whether the corporate guy in Milwaukee was an idiot, I have no way of knowing.
