I made an appointment to pick up the rental at a specific location close to my residence. When I arrived they didn’t have the vehicle, and started calling around to find a place that had the vehicle. The reason for my request at this location was for proximity to my home, so after they finally found a vehicle I had to drive and wait until they opened only to be greeted with did you do the paperwork online??? Are you kidding me more delays, lousy connection to the phone and finally after much delays we were able to get going to our destination

Pick-ups at this location are a bit complicated. Not everyone knows to do the pre-check-in before arrival. We thought it was an actual U-haul location, but instead, when we got there had to call someone on the phone, which was difficult because there was hardly any reception. Finally got through, had to submit driver's licenses (again, minimal reception), and then finally, we were given the key. It was about a 20-minute process overall, which was unnecessary.

The pickup process was a disaster. I filled all my information ahead of time. When I arrived there, I had to fill all that information again, with very pool signal. Also, I have to call a manager to get a code for the people at the Front Desk. Very poor experience.

The pickup and return of the truck was very easy. Don was very helpful and responsive. Vehicle was not completely clean but was ok. No mechanical issues that I could tell. I would rent again.

There is no one really will help you, they told me they are doing a favor for someone. Really bad experience getting the car and returning. Then they charged what they pleased. Look for another location.

To start with change the business location to another place that is not the that marathon gas station. When i was renting i saw that this was the only place with 2 stars instead of 5 but i gave it a try anyways and it was one of the worst decision i have made. The employees of the gas station are the worst and they are very very rude the take so much time in helping you out and many more things. Also the truck needed tire service and it had a light popping for that.

The van was absolutely filthy! It smelled as if someone urinate in the van. The back of the van had dried up sticky liquid on the floor and dead mosquitoes splattered on the ceiling of the van. The sliding door of the van was malfunctioning and couldn’t close well.

My phone was no battery when I return. Was really problem to send van pictures and really complicate the return process with out celular phone. The price to much expensive. I don’t what to use this service again.

I will never rent from you guys again. Your service was poor. The gentleman at the Truck Stop was clueless about what to do when I arrived to pick up the truck. He asked me to Call Don, Don told me the system was down. The gentleman at the Truck stop turned over the keys to me without verifying who I was. There was no verification of the starting miles or the condition of the truck. I returned the truck and it was the same thing. I had to ask the gentleman at the Truck Stop to verify the miles when I returned the truck. However, my card was charged in minute of me returning the truck. I Called and text Don several time and there was no response. Terrible service, I will not recommend this location.

Terrible experience, system not working, I had to re-do the whole process again with a customer agent over the phone, I requested a furniture dolly and they did not have but was charged for it. I have emailed customer service and called several times requesting a credit however I have not heard anything and have not been credited. Terrible service !! please save yourself a headache and rent somewhere else

The return instructions were to drop keys in an orange box after completing the return steps, and a picture of an orange box was included in the instructions. There was NO such box. Luckily we were able to leave it with the associate who was very helpful, friendly and courteous at the return location. It would have been a MAJOR problem if he had already closed and left.

Reservation was made 8 days in advance and when arrived to pick up the rental I was told that I did not have a reservation. I showed my reservation and confirmation details and was told sorry. I was moving to Tampa from the south Florida area. I had to settle for a lesser size truck and make it work with another rental from another company. you will think that if you reserve a truck Uhaul would be professional enough to make sure that truck is available for rental once you go to pick it up. this was a long distance moved and everything was delayed.

Better service, computed doesn’t work at all, system very slow, I had to wait 40 min to get my truck Otherwise, I was transferred to that location because the location at davie didn’t have my keys on the locker, they charged me and I haven’t received my money back ..... very bad experience, never happened to me before

Employees on site were very helpful. Location great. The vehicle however was FILTHY DIRTY. Likely never cleaned. Plus the last customer did not close the rear doers secretly. Terrible water intrusion. I had to dry down the entire back bed to protect my belongings from damage during move.

The attendant was taking care of both gas customers and Uhaul. He would not finish my contract before taking another gas customer. Also, I had to lift the trailer and move it by myself. Ridiculous.

We always rent from U-Haul. Today we rented a 26ft truck to make a delivery from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. Within 30 minutes of picking up the truck we returned it because the Company in Miami is closed today for good reason. We ere billed the full rate of $65.20 after explaining the situation. We think this should be investigated. Note we plan to rent the same type of vehicle on Monday for the same purpose. Hoping for some consideration in this situation. Stay Safe!! When I arrive to pick up the trailer the salesman checked me in and then said the I had to hook up the trailer myself I kidded with him saying oh ya I can hook up that trailer all by myself and then he said it’s over to the left of the yard. I asked him do I have to carry out the 24 pads by myself too. He stated I’ll have my helper bring them out to you. They made me hook up the trailer myself. At the age of 69 I was Impossible I had to run around to find help to get the trailer on the back of the truck then paid the guy a little something to get a drink on me.

When I arrived to pick up the U-haul they did not want to assist me. I was told “I should have called ahead” even though I had a reservation and confirmation email. I literally had to tell them I have to confirmation and then they finally gave me the time of day. They only handed me the keys and a dolly and didn’t walk out to the truck with me. When I got the truck I had to use an electric blower to clean out the back of the truck. I would not recommend any of my family or friends to rent from this location. They both seemed aggravated to do anything in regards to uhaul. They said the system was down even, but when I pushed them to check the system, it conveniently worked fine.

No one to help hookup and on the return to unhook. They told u where it was and u were on ur own. Very hard to understand person at register. Language barrier. Couldn’t find reservation. Said he had none for us. Had to call customer service so he could speak to them and arrange help in hooking up. Very poor service and help

The staff at this location and not very friendly, they seems like they just don’t care and their computer system is slower than dial-up. This time, when I picked the trailer up, it was filled with old rags and blankets, aren’t these guys supposed to check things like this? I moved all junk to the trailer next to me. If it’s wasn’t for the pure convenience, I would pick a different location.

Horrible experience, when picking up the guy took forever to do the contract, he did not go over the contract with me, when returning the truck he told me I had to go out and get the miles for him and gas level, I know for a fact is not the customer the one who has to do this, I owned location 29502 for over 8 years. Super unprofessional I honestly don’t know how UHaul allows this location to still be open

At the pickup location I was told reservation was canceled. I had made reservation with the drop off place prior to going down there.the there was mo help with hooking up the dolly and the left light inoperative had fire ants all covered the hitch part and on the tires.rackets for the tire straps were almost non functional but I managed to get them tight.

Dealer had no idea how to rent equipment.took over for hours to figure it out. Got upcharge for bigger truck but still to smaller truck.had to retrieve truck from field while dealer sat in store. One of the absolute worsed experiences of my life.after owning a towing company that rented u haul for 20 years it was disgusting to see how the business went down hill. After the hours of sitting and over charge will never use u haul again!!

The service was fine and the truck was exactly what I wanted for my short trip. Unfortunately they mistakenly added 4 miles to my 12 mile trip. This meant an extra $4. I didn’t fight for it since he already rang me up and didn’t seem too excited to change anything. Also, he told me the wrong location of the truck which was not out in front by the highway (sort of a walk). I tried manually unlocking all the trucks in this location. I gave up but found another truck on the other side of the parking lot next to the office. The key worked and I took the truck. It was annoying.

Do not charge when the customer has been misled or not properly informed of what your requirements are. I even spoke to customer assistance before the rental to question why it was a 2 day rental when I only needed it for one day. Maybe some one can go back into the calls to verify what I am stating is correct.

There is not any sign where to return the vehicle, outside neither inside. Luckily there was a guy outside (I don't know was a U-Haul employee) that was very helpful. When you go inside (the convenient store of the gas station) there is not any sign at all that says U-Haul. I have to ask the cashier (was helpful) that he told me the U-Haul guy wasn't there at the moment, and in top of that the system was down.

I did not understand the final invoice I received when the truck was returned. The employee told me that the total would be $48 plus $0.99 per mile. I ended paying $112.89 and only rode 28 miles.

Don't ever send anyone here to pick up a Uhaul anything. The computer wasn't working, all the gas station customers were way more important to take care of. It took over any hour just for me to get the transition payed for. Once that was finally done I was able to hook up and get home faster then I was there just pay for the trailer. Very very annoying to pick up and deal with everything on the day I'm trying to set up for a move to North Carolina. I would love some time of refund for all this mess and delaying my move of a 12 hour drive.

Everything went wrong. I did a reservation for march 20th. When tried make checkin online it says that the reservation was canceled without inform me. I did the reservation again. on March 20th there were only one Minivan but the minivan has no plate and they have no printer to print it. I had to pay more than double of the equipment I have selected for the only truck they have available. There were no tools I have requested at the reservation. I mean, I lost two hours to get the truck, it has generated a lot of problems because I have a few appointments that were based on the schedule I did with Uhal. Probably will never use it again.

The computer system is not slow but extremely / painfully slow. They need to upgrade. Also, no one to assist returning the trailer I rented. This is the first I have run into this situation at a U-Haul. I have rented equipment at U-Haul more than a dozen times in the past half dozen years. This was a first.

Seminole Travel centers U-Haul system is down. Took over an hour to get the vehicle I reserved online. The whole thing is a total joke. Had to call the hotline multiple times. Very frustrated. Won’t use U-Haul again.

On site rep was helpful but the u-haul website he was using to complete the reservation did not work. It took nearly 2 hours to pick up a trailer I had reserved over a week in advance. The website refused to allow the equipment to be assigned to my rental saying it was unavailable or simply did not show up as an option to assign. After 1h 30m of trying to use the system we gave up and called a phone rep who after 30 mins was able to complete what was not able to be done on site. This also forced me into accepting the trailer insurance since the rep did not ask if I wanted it, which I originally did not but wanted to get the trailer and leave after being on site for hours.

I only need it to Tuesday and still get charge until Wednesday I told him I will return it on Tuesday. Also one off the light didn't work. Reason I pay to Wednesday I have no choice. I need it at that time. I think is no good at all to charge customers extra days. Like you see I returned on Tuesday like I told him.

You tried to over charge me twice... I did not purchase safe move and you tried to charge me and you also tried to charge me an extra day. The drop off date was then later changed by you guys and the only reason I can prove I didn’t use an extra day is because I screenshotted the original contract that was sent to me.

The attendant began by telling my brother that dropped off the truck for me that he would need to wait about an half hour for drop off because he was too busy, then he wouldn't accept the return because it wasn't specified in paperwork but other location was closed. When I called regional office and received authorization to drop off there, I called that location and he said "I'm taking care of him" and hung up on me.

first, after completing the rental paperwork the attendant simply pointed in a direction for me to pick up the van. after twice returning to the office saying i could not locate the van the attendant continued to simply point in general direction. i found the van only after asking a parking lot attendant on property. the van was parked almost a 5 min walk away from the office and i had to walk alongside a busy highway to get to it. then when i returned the van the attendant insisted i did not return the van with right amount of gas. i politely put more gas in and the attendant again said i needed more. in an effort to end this awful experience i told him to tell me when to stop refuelling. once i finally got the my final receipt, it showed that the tank level was almost 1/4 over the level shown on pick up paperwork. if this was my 1st experience renting a uhaul i would never rent another. i know i will never rent from this location ever again

Despite having a confirmation number 2 days earlier at this location, upon arrival I was advised they did not have a truck for me and I was told to come back in a couple of days and make a new reservation. Two days later, I arrive and rent a truck only to find out that at least 25% of it is littered with blankets and other debris from the prior renter. I had no choice but to use this vehicle as this was the 2nd day I had taken off from work and compensated again 3 individuals to assist me with my move. No compensation was offered. Terrible and unprofessional experience.

The truck was dirty when I picked it up. Not only did I have to sweep before loading but I also had to through away rugs, a washing machine owners manual and various other things before I started loading. Also, my rate was $39.99 per day plus mileage. I returned later than anticipated but within 12 hours and was billed double. This makes no sense to me.
