Joe BoundsThe truck had a tire with low air pressure, the air conditioner did NOT work, radiator overheated it had NO WATER, I called road side assistance but we told her we were adding water and would try to make it to the drop off point. When I arrived to check in the truck I tried to pay cash (because I always have when renting a U-Haul) but was told by the employee they don’t take cash! How stupid! At least put up a sign telling customers this. I will never rent from this location again! This was the most horrible experience yet I have experienced when renting from u-haul

I didn't see any after hour's number's to call or to leave a message. But the drop off area was accessible and easy to park the trailer in. Thank you for a nice looking business.

Erin JacksonTERRIBLE CYSTOMER SERVICE. ALREADY CALLWD TO COMPLAIN.,Returned trailer at around 4:35 on June 13 only to be told that They don't check in trailers after 4:30. Said that she needed the next hour to "get the real business done." Also a storage facility so guessing u-haul not a priority. No sign on the door stating a cut off time. Lady was rude and obviously hates her job. I'm in my early 60's and count this as one of top rude customer service experiences I've had to deal with.
Deb MorrisThis location has good customer service over the phone and was helpful with setting up the reservation. I asked a few basic questions about connecting a trailer and had to do the research myself and go to an outside source for the items necessary. I found this to be a common theme amongst many of the places U-Haul lists as authorized dealers, as far as not having the supplies ready for purchase (variety of hitches, lack of basic equipment knowledge). If I decide to rent again, it will be through the actual U-Haul store. The problem with the U-Haul store in my area is that it’s in a small and high traffic area. Also the installers usually try to find extra and unnecessary items to sell to customers.

Jared CrownDriver side trailer brake lights were not working when I picked it up. The rental person that assisted me told me I could take it up the road to an actual uhaul establishment and they would fix it on the spot. When I went to the Uhaul establishment to get the lights repaired, the gentleman that helped me said I should’ve never left the other location and that they couldn’t help me.
Omar LugoAttitudes should be good, especially when it’s your first customer of the day. Also, the app wasn’t helpful for the return. I took all the pictures that the video tutorial showed but was never asked to upload ANYTHING.

I said I would but we could not get the trailer handle off the ball hitch. She called another elderly woman to help and she hurt her back trying to get it disconnected. I moved my truck back and forth and me and the young lady finally got it disconnected.

Francis BartonThe brown haired lady atthe front desk was beyond rude, from the time I picked up the truck to the time I brought it back! I was unaware that I had to sweep the back of the truck out, it was my first time using uhaul and se told me if I didn't yall would charge me 25 extra dollars, so I proceeded to tell her I didn't have a broom on hand, she let me use one of hers so I swept te truck out and was headed back to the office to put it back . This woman started yelling at me "bring me my broom back" like I was gonna try to still her dollar tree broom! She proceeded to tell me what my final charge was that didn't add up but by that point I was ready to go, I been moving all day and wasn't about to put up with someone who clearly hats there job! I will never use uhaul again! You need to have a class on customer service!
Sarah BellThis is my second time doing a one way rental. The experience is frustrating, get little help from the phone lines, and creates a lot of anxiety for the client. My equipment wasn’t given to me where I asked for. They sent me 2 hours away from me. Then they moved it 2 days. And when I went to the place to check it out, they said it was still not confirmed. I finally managed to reserve it, thanks to an amazing girl at the front desk at the 16901 N Cleveland Avenue store. She managed to reserve exactly what I wanted, and confirm it. I don’t understand how this keeps happening and nothing is done to solve it. I had to lose work days, reschedule days off, and ended up running around town and spending hours in the phone to try to get this fix.

Kenneth TurbvilleThe truck reeked of cigarettes and had ashes all over the console. I had to clean it before I could drive it. I found two empty bottles under the front seat as well. The back of the truck had not been swept and had 4 blankets in it. The word lock didn’t work. The office was closed during normal business hours. The regional manager had to come out which took an hour. He was very helpful and nice but he did not see the cab of the truck. I just picked up the key after he got the word lock opened.

Andrea AndersonThere were some problems with this rental. I ordered two dozen blankets and was told on the pick up day that they were not available. Was then told that I could call UHaul customer support or another location to find some. I asked if it wasn't their responsibility to find the blankets and was told that they worked for Mini Storage, not UHaul. Fortunately I was able to pick up blankets at my usual Pass Rd location. The second issue was that the battery died (or was drained - check with the Copperfield location). I had to jump it three times. The third issue was that the driver's door was difficult to close. I've seen this with UHaul trucks in the past where the top hinge seems to stick, eventually warping the door.

I ask her to let’s do a inspection of truck, she said no need too it is all documented of any issues on vechicile . I ask her for a copy said it was not necessary, inside can I had to wipe it dirty, old paper towels in truck . Very disappointed and definite this establishment does not want to deal with uhaul customers
