Very friendly. Not the locations fault, but ordered a dozen furniture pads but they only had 4. The drop off location was equally low on pads. Seems more a corporate issue. The trailer worked but it’s definitely seen some miles. Again, more a corporate issue than the rental location. The young man hooking up the trailer was very efficient. We were in and out picking up the rental in about 10 minutes!

Place where the drop of us was literally a flea market, and I had to talk him into using wheel chocks for the trailer would not roll down the hill when we un-hooked which it did, when he would not use the chocks.

I was charged $4.50 per gallon on the service fee, when company policy is $3.50 per gallon Doors to the building were locked and no personnel staffed the building during open business hours while I was there (2pm) Charging me for 3 gallons of gas was unnecessary to fill it from halfway between 3/8 and 1/2 to 50%

The location was closed when I arrived despite their hours listing otherwise. There were multiple spots on the exterior of the vehicle with previous damage that was not noted in the pick up information It seemed that most if not all of those damaged areas were marked with a sticker (clear sticker with an "X" on it along with the word "quick claim settlement"). Since this was not in the pick up condition notes or photos, this concerned me as I did not want to be held liable for this. I noted it as best I could in the pick up condition notes I needed to submit. The cab was clean though it smelt like cigarette smoke was recently cleaned out of it. You could still clearly smell it though. The truck seemed to be in good mechanical order with no other issues during the rental. I've rented trucks a few time from Uhaul including multiple cross country trips and was surprised at the condition of this truck, they are usually in much better condition! The online pick up process was a bit arduous and "clunky".

When I arrived at this location (which was my second, since my first reservation was canceled due to no truck. This after I reserved it weeks in advance) I was doing the truck inspection, there was a nail in the back passenger tire and the tire was completely flat. I had to call for Roadside assistance before i even could drive off the lot and after 2 hours the provider arrived and had to replace both back passenger tires due to them both being bad. My move was delayed for almost 3 hours, just thankful I REALIZED THE CONDITION OF THE TRUCK!

This location had apparently taken off for a "lunch meeting" despite having no scheduled lunch according to another manager. Then, after waiting for 40 minutes in 100+ degree heat and they were more than 20 minutes late returning, I had another area's manager assist me in turning in the keys because the area manager for San Angelo was apparently on vacation. I guess they didn't want to be open for business on that day.

I booked a 26’ three weeks in advance. 2 days before pickup you called and said no 26’ available and I could only have a 20’ which was not big enough for me to move everything. What this means is I have to fly to TX from GA again, rent another truck, incur more travel charges, gas etc to pick up the rest of my stuff and drive back to GA which will cost me at least another $2,000 and three more days of travel. This was more than just incovenient.

To improve for the next customer, I recommend you refer them to Penski or any other company than yours. Your customer service is anything but service and you use movinghelp.com not as a service, but a scapegoat and a release of liability for yourself. I would rent a wheelbarrow and move my things 1 peice at a time before using your services again or referring your services to anyone, friend or foe!

Again I swept the back of truck out which I received dirty, and wiped down the coffee and trash that was left inside. San Angelo charged me $25.00 bucks even after showing them the video of how the truck was given to us. Uhaul has become a rip off.

I started working with one employee, and then was switched to another. I told the first employee that I did not want the insurance. The second employee added the insurance back without asking me. When I pointed it out, the employee didn’t know how to fix but said he would. I left assuming it would get fixed. It did not. The office smelled bad and the employees were not friendly.

Have my proper reservation in order prior to pick up. I should not be told to go to one location just to be told my trailer was not available for pick up there. Then to drive across town once again and be told it's a trailer with a ramp just to not come woth a ramp. I did not receive any sort of compensation for my inconvenience at all.

Aside from the initial confusion over the drop off and uncertainty over whether or not our contract had actually been completed, the personnel were friendly and helpful and the location was easy to find and navigate. The issue was that there was no tangible proof I had dropped off the trailer because 1) I was told there was nothing to print because U-haul had emailed the final document and 2) that email took over 24 hours to be delivered. So the issue is really with U-haul corporate, not this individual site.

Owner was not present during working hours. Her father was there and friendly, however did not know anything about the business. I left the truck with 1/4 tank of gas like I picked it up, yet was later charged $51 for fuel. I called the drop off office several times, left a message, and have yet to hear back from them. Unacceptable. This was a self move for my retirement from the Marine Corps and I’m unable to fully close my travel claim due to this error.
