The U-Haul was extremely dirty on the inside, can tell that it is. Ot cleaned out or sanitized after each use

It would have been nice to know beforehand that I needed to put the same level of gas back into the truck that I started with. No where could I find that, and assumed it was part of the rental fee at a dollar a mile.

The Uhaul app needs completely revamped. It hasn't been usable for years. The app not working means you have to go into the store every time

I rented a 10 foot van at 2 pm on 1/17/2024. After using the van I rented it at 1 pm on 1/18/2024. Pre the agreement for the the rental agreement I returned the van with a quarter tank of gas, which was the same amount I left with. The person working the counter went out to check the van on for check the van in. I noticed he walked around then then moved it out of my sight to park it. When he returned to finalize to transaction he in formed me the van was 1/16 of a tank under fueled and I had to pay the fuel penalty, 40 dollars. I told him it was it was right that I made sure it was over a 1/4 tank. When we walked on to check the fuel gauge in the van it was a total different van then the one I used. I told him it wasn’t my van. The numbers match my receipt but it was mine plus also how can you tell “1/16” of a tank of gas…. I was highly disappointed in my service.

My only complaint is that I ordered and paid for blankets. They were not in the truck when I picked it up. It was Sunday and the location was closed. It was very inconvenient and my dresser was scratched because I had no blankets.

The man/ only person there was very professional and helpful. He helped everyone with their issues and concerns. Mine was only a dropoff with no issues but while there I observed how he interacted with the other customers. If need be I will rent from them.

I was surprised, when I picked the truck up, although on the contract it said that there was a 1/4 tank of gas. It looked to me to be closer to 1/8th of a tank. Therefore I had to start my move by going directly to the gas station. This was an inconvenience for me, I was on a tight schedule.

It had been a few years since I rented a U-Haul and even longer since I rented at a U-Haul dealer vs a corporate store. Overall I had a good experience. They had the truck as reserved along with my dolly. One thing that was new since last time I rented was being able to return/check in the truck and get a final receipt from my phone with just a few photos which was very convenient! I will definitely consider U-Haul and this location next time I need a truck!

The process of registering on the phone and all of the documentation and things you had to do via the APP was crazy. The photos, the verification call or documentation… I can’t even imagine someone who is not able to use their cell phone in this way being able to reserve a truck. There were dents on the truck that weren’t documented when we arrived to pick it up. The person checking us out, went to look at the returned truck then stood and talked to someone in the parking lot for a while before finally returning to process my receipt. It should be stated somewhere that it is going to take you at least a 1/2 - 3/4 of an hour to pick up the truck because of all of the requirements. It also takes that long to return and process it.

Key to pad lock in back broke off in side. Trapped my stuff in it for 6 hours. So i told customer service id be late and they still charged me.. your equipment is faulty and im penalized? Im poor .. this is a multi-million dollar industry. I think you should dropbtheclate fees!

I hadn’t realized that you were to return the truck with the amount of gas that was in it rather than filling it up. I filled up the tank even though it was missing a 1/8 of a tank when receiving it.

The truck l rented had a worn out suspension. Every crack on highway was a jolt. There were beverage bottles left in cab. When I signed up in advance to pick up truck I was told .79 /mile. I was charged .99.

Raps did a great job, however, I cannot say the same for dealing with U-Haul online. They canceled my first reservation at Murdochs auto. Then the agent made a reservation for a van at Rapps, that showed as available online. Turns out Rapps did not have available it on the day I needed it. There seems to be a gap between your online reservations and what is actually available. I wanted a van and ended up with a cargo truck.

I reserved a uhaul a 20 foot , when I got there they only had a 26 footer which was huge and not what i needed it could barley fit on my road , i reserved it a ahead of time so they would have what i needed , if its not there why let me pick that size truck, then the worker shakes his head at me like I'm the problem

There was trash in the cab and behind the seats when we picked up the truck. I also did not like that the truck only had half a tank of gas on pick up. It is hard to refill a tank to the half tank point so most people will over half fill and that is a rip off.

The vehicle was dirty and not cleaned at all. There was sticky residue all over the inside of the door and the interior was dusty and dirty.

I don’t appreciate how I was charged for fuel refill, although I refilled the fuel myself. That would have saved me at least $11. It’s not something to be entirely frugal about, but should be addressed. Also, it should be verbally stated that if someone is renting from uhaul that their insurance is not needed if you have full coverage insurance of your own. Overall the staff was alright, but $53 total for a 2.5 hour rental is a bit much. Maybe like $30? Without me having to refuel myself? That is more… ethical. I’ll be looking into other rental services or a friend from now on. Thank you for serving your purposes today, but it’s not worth the money. All I did was move a bed from one house to another.
