The truck needs service the back door is so hard to pull it down and also the brakes are not good they need to be checked sometimes it did not work had to press multiple times

There isn't a single thing that went right during the entire process. Not only would I not recommend anyone I know to have any business with this location, but I actively encourage anyone and everyone from avoiding this location at all costs. A 5-10 minute check in and check out process was delayed to more than an hour of just standing around. If you value your time even a little, do not go anywhere near this place.

Did not have furniture pads that were ordered and needed. Changed location about thirty minutes before reservation time. Had to wait for all the gas station customers who came in after to be helped. None of the paperwork was printed and process took a much longer time than other locations I’ve been too.

The experience with U-Haul.. but the guy at the pickup location is a crook! He attempted to throw on additional charges for services I did not request. When I asked him to take the charges off he said he couldn’t… that was a lie! I called U-Haul and they removed the charges. Stay away from this location.

Upon returning the Uhaul the guy there was EXTREMELY rude from the very beginning. I informed him that I was there to return the truck and he immediately questioned if I was at the right drop off location. I showed him the app that I was at the right location and was just there at 530pm to pick the truck up and was told by another guy to bring the keys right back there to the counter. The guy said "you need to check yourself out, I'm not taking the keys." He told me to come back tomorrow (11/17). My reservation was for the same day and I did not want to be charged extra. The guy literally told me to "call uHaul" because they were not uhaul and refused to take the keys. He was extremely confrontational and rude. Thank goodness my brother was with me but my husband still came to the location because it took so long to try to return the truck and wanted to make sure I was ok and could return the truck. I asked the guy how they were not uhaul vendors but have uhaul trucks and trailers outside and I received the truck from that location. When reserving the truck I opted for counter service not app. I had to call customer service and stay on the phone with a rep and Manager outside of this location for 30 mins. I ultimately was able to complete the return process online and received confirmation from the Manager that the truck was checked in. I went back in the store and left the keys with the guy and told him how rude and unprofessional his service was, he never apologized but took the keys. This location should not be allowed to be a vendor with this type of customer service, staff aggression, and unprofessionalism. At no point did this guy try to assist me with returning the truck, their truck.

Customer service was non existent. This location is a gas station where the clerk focuses on that job and could care less about uhaul. Both the pick up and drop off took about 45 minutes each.

I chose the mobile option to pick up my Uhaul at 7:30am, we get to the place & I go to check in on the app and get an error, so I have to call some number. Spend 30 minutes in the phone to be told I have to go inside to check in & I can’t even use the app to check in because the key for the truck isn’t in a lock box like it’s supposed to be. It is now 8am and I have lost 30min of my time. The man inside was nice. The uhaul itself was great. We get back to the place to drop it off and I use the app to do the drop off stuff. I try to use their gas pumps to replace the gas I use - the pumps screens dont even work so you have to go inside to pre pay for gas, so I barely filled it up to the original gas line because HOW am i supposed to know a dollar amount to fill up this uhaul? Then there isn’t even enough phone service to use the app and of course the location doesn’t offer wifi, so that was irritating. All in all, my experience with the truck itself was fine but my experience with the pickup location was very poor

I scheduled a Uhaul rental almost a month in advance for a pickup 5 miles from my house. The switched the pick up location last minute to over 45 minutes away. This has been a horrible experience and would not recommend Uhal to anyone. I will not be using this company anymore.

This U-Haul location is inside of a gas station. The gas station only has one person on duty and that person is trying to check people out at the register and administer U-Haul business. Which means that U-Haul customers have to wait or the customers at the gas station have to wait. They should be two people on duty.

Not enough people to staff the U-Haul side. Also, if someone can't read a gas gauge well enough to tell 1/8 of a tank from 1/4 of a tank, give them another job. Although I guess fleecing every customer for an extra $50 probably works out pretty well for them in most cases.

There is no one at this location who speaks english. My trailer was dirty. I didn't know if I was checked in when I returned because we could not understand a single word. U-Haul customers take a backseat to the gas customers because there isn't enough help. I'll drive many miles out of the way to avoid this location.

Cashier handed me a key and asked me to find which truck was mine for the day. It took me about 30 minutes and a phone call to 1-800-go-uhaul to get the right key truck combo. I also did all the majority of the requested information (driver’s license) scan and upload but the cashier still took my DL and scanned it again. Waste of time and slowed the process contrary to the websites claim.

Completely unacceptable experience. Truck was not ready and staff was not capable of performing basic key pick up functions. Unable to read and properly mark gas at drop off. Location staff asked me to wait 3 hours after my scheduled pick up time to pick up. Gross negligence and should not be an authorized U-Haul location. I had to call the U-Haul corporate office to get my truck over an hours later. Corporate office was great but the Location staff tried to take a picture of my ID on their personal phones after I had already checked in online. Scary and inappropriate.

People in person were great. Online I would say they did not know what was going on and put me on hold for extended amounts of time. One time was over 60 minutes then to reach another person who wanted to transfer me. Then a$177 dollar rental turned into a $250 dollar rental and they pretended to give me a $50 coupon. They still changed the price on me and raised it. Will not use again and other companies don’t treat customers like this.

The Uhaul rental operation definitely plays second fiddle to the Quickstop/gas station operation. The agent wrote down the trailer data on A piece of scrap paper and instructed me to park it in the parking lot. No inspection of the trailer. I have always had extraordinary service in the past, but this experience has put a sour taste in my mouth. Overall, I got my belongings moved an no one was killed.

Called to verify it was open at 8am. Got there at 8:45am and was told no one from Uhaul side until 11-11:30am. Came back at 12:00pm and still no one. Eventually someone arrived. Trailer I received reserved had a bad wheel. No replacement available. Had to tow it 16 mins to a “company” location to get it swapped out. Wastes most of my day.

Poor Inernet reception in this area. Took approximately 1.5 hours just to get the U-haul app to upload the pictures and complete the process. We tried on two devices. Finally completed and turned in key. This drop off location was suggested by U-haul via text message. I am sure that there were better locations in Savannah.

Attendant couldnt speak english, didnt know anything about checking in any uhual, called dispatch who told me just to leave it there. Made me nervous since I couldnt get a reciept or anything. U-hual should really not use them any longer.

Very disappointed with my U-Haul experience. Rapid unexpected deployment I went to move my apartment into storage. I reserved the U-Haul through the app days prior. I go to the location look at my app and it says that the vehicle is out already and my name has been changed. Called 5 different people until I got hold of the regional manger who said she had been working on the issue since yesterday. I asked why she didn't call me to alert me of the situation if she new there was a mistake. She said a guy with a similar name needed the rental. I'm like yeah so do I that's why I reserved it days ago. Finally got it figured out after an hour. Then the trailer wasn't an issues minus it having next to no gas. Was also upset my data was changed in my app without my consent to match some man's name. I think I can't spell my own name. The lady at the actual spot was not to blame it was U-Haul it's self.

I got the text to pick up the rental at 8:35 when i was to pick it up at 9 am this was the 3rd place i was to pick it up and even then no one at uhaul knew where a rental was it was very disjointed and confusing

Location was absolutely disgusting- staff has zero idea what they were doing. Took 40 mins to just get the truck. I’ve rented a ton from uhaul and this was by far the poorest experience. The owner of this location should give the uhaul franchise back he’s a complete disservice to the uhaul brand. Also told them I didn’t want safemove they added to my bill anyway. Never checked in the vehicle when I dropped it off. They said to come back to drop it off. I said to the woman that no I’m done with the vehicle now and I’m returning it now. She wanted me to come back in 2 hrs. As you can see with my comments very unsatisfactory experience

The location is great. Right off of I-95, in Savannah. But my complaint is that I was moving from Bluffton, SC. So, I had to pick up the truck in Savannah, and then drive 20 miles to Bluffton, then drive 20 miles back on I-95 South, to within less than a half mile from where I picked the truck up. Not a big deal, until the company charged me extra for the mileage. Not to worry, they got their money.

I paid for a furniture dolly that I never received because they didn’t have it at this location due to it being a mobile check in location. I waited an estimate of 45 minutes just to never receive a furniture dolly and still pay for it. Not at all the best experience and I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming to this location.

Reserved equipment and when we arrived it wasn't there. The rep said to call Uhaul 800 number, when I did was told by them to let them know when it dropped the equipment back off. When I did the woman said, "there wasn't anyone there for Uhaul at that time i would have to check in online". She was absolutely NO HELP. I use Uhaul often and won't use this location ever again.

There was only one girl working so we had to move other trucks ourselves in order to get to our truck. I reserved a dolly and furniture mats and they didn’t have either. Overall, it was not a good experience and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Was charged for fuel at drop off. When I have sent pictures of proof of the milage an I filled to full. Still have not received a refund I dont know what happened on the online drop off. I have all the proof I need that shows I've was charged for nothing. I do alot of business through uhaul an this is unacceptable. I've rent trucks before and this is the first time I've been done like this.

I was at this location for 2 + hours. I performed the online check-in, and after standing in line at this store that was very dirty I was told and I quote " you did not have to stand in this line" you can just go get the trailer. I asked the attendant if I needed to sign anything or if she needed the trailer number and she said no! When attempting to return it the order was cancelled and it took two days and two representatives to assist me. I had to do all the calling, no one called me back from the Savanah dispatch location and if I have to rent again I would not. This was the worst experience ever

They gave the assigned uhaul to another customer after I had already checked in so I had to wait while they changed the reservation and it was supposed to be a contactless pickup but I had to go inside and get the keys. It was not what I was hoping for.

Owner just RUDE! I arrive at the time of my reservation & she told me she didn’t have the truck & continue to do whatever she was doing. As I was about to leave, I spotted a woman putting gas in a 10 foot & ask if she was returning. The owner argued with the woman about gas & the truck being stolen in my presence. She was just unfriendly & if I didn’t drive so far to get the rental I would not have rented it.

It would be nice to have the equipment requested be ready when scheduled. Requested a 20 ft truck and they only had a 15 ft available. The trucks and dollies were ready but I had requested 40 blankets and only 8 were available and only 2 were folded.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company to date. I would like someone from corporate to contact me in regards to my experience from this location asap. The truck was filthy and completely out of gas. It was my only option as the original reservation I placed was transferred to a different location that not only didn't have a truck available, they also could not tell me when and if one would be available on my moving day July 31st which I booked in advance for a morning pick up.

Original truck and as there. They made new reservations and added extra stuff that wasn’t in the original one. Cost me extra money. And the inside and back of truck was completely covered in patches of dog hair it was everywhere. And inside smelled like dog shit!!!!!!
