I went to return my trailer to the wrong Uhaul. He was SUPER friendly and even backed my truck up for me! Good thing, I was going to have to leave with that trailer, lol.

Always helpful and convenient! Too bad this location does not show up on U-Haul's computers, at least it hasn't for our last 6 rentals. They keep telling us to drop off in Johnson City because there's no place to do so in Piney Flats. Not true!

I’ve had my storage unit for several years and staff has always been very helpful and considerate. However, when went to organize our unit, it was discovered it had been damaged by water. The paneling bulked, the water damage on concrete floor still had evidence of lots of water build up and rotting wood..because was in back, wasn’t seen right away, but moister build up caused mold damage to all our furniture we had in there and many other personal property.. owner has never returned calls made. Staff gave information on insurance so can make a claim, and now waiting to hear from them. Keep eye on your unit. I complained several times how no light was working in my unit to b told owner would call me..never a call,never arraignment for new bulb then supplies not got due to no delivery was coming for new lights or supplies I was told months later.Through the years used, they were very good, said was not aware of our damage and did give proper information to get help..the staff did apologize and felt bad for our loss.. facility is safe and secure with great staff but hard to get owner as he’s very busy.
Light in hallway between units stays in for short time, then cuts off, you have to constantly walk towards entrance to turn light back on to continue work in unit. That get ridiculous if you want in your unit for long period of time. For security and safety, they are great.. for staff, they have the best..but very hard to get owners attention.. check out and compare prices on other storage facilities around piney flats, their prices are good and reasonable. So guess this review could be considered good and bad.. until water damaged, everything was very well maintained and clean..

You charge to rent the truck, then for the gas used , then for mileage as well. Gas and mileage both? Are you sure you don't want to charge for the air that was breathed in the truck ? Greedy.

I already made a reservation online although when I arrived the employee had to complete the reservation online again. It would be less time consuming and more efficient for this process to be completed the first time. When I arrived to this location an appliance dolly that I had reserved was not available. It would be helpful if inventory was shown as available or not just as the trucks are. The employee at this location was very kind and helpful and offered her assistance in any way she could.

I really appreciated how nice and professional the lady I picked up the truck from was. She showed us how to lock up the cargo area by putting the padlock through just one of the holes. She was really great. At first I was nervous about going to such an out of the way location but it definitely was one of the best experiences I’ve had

Truck was guaranteed to be there at 10am. Truck wasn’t there till 1120am. Phone rep at U-Haul said we would be refunded $50. That has not been done.

This site is the best kept secret! I have three storage bins as well and Peggy is absolutely the best!!! It's farther away than Johnson City or Elizabethton but so worth the trip!!

Great service! Attendee held umbrella while we hooked up the trailer in NC. Was a hassle free return in OH when we brought it back, didn’t even need to get out of my truck!
