Vehicle was not at location that reservation was made. I had to drive clear across town to get it. Was promised 10 free miles which did not happen, Billing was supposed to be for local rental and not a one-way. Overcharged on rental. Rental vehicle had a squeal under the hood the entire time. Reported the incident when I picked it up but was told to call the 1-800 number if it broke down.

Roger TRepresentatives need to stop tricking people into paying for items they don't want or need without permission, i.e. insurance, supplies, equipment.
Christopher PWhen I drop off a vehicle I prefer to hand the keys to a person vice drop box. Self return could not verify my location, so I was not comfortable using that approach. I waited until PakMail opened to hand over the key. The PakMail person was very helpful.

DALE WLocation is behind a strip mall. When we dropped off the Uhaul it was dark and the lighting behind the buildings was almost nonexistent. This was a very unsafe place to be.
Derek KDrop off was MUCH easier than checking in. Process was easily understood unlike check in procedures.

VIRGINIA MI made an online reservation to pick up the truck. You can only use online checkout and pick up when at the location (via cell phone). Unfortunately the website continually told me I wasn’t at the correct location according to my GPS. I could not get help from the employee as he was filling in and knew nothing about the U-Haul services. I called the customer service 800 number and they couldn’t help me. I ended up having to acquire the cell number of the district manager who had to check me in on his computer. Very frustrating. Took approximately 45 minutes to get a truck I was standing next to.
Jerry rThe place was very hard to find, the map pointed to wrong location and where to park was also not obvious. The corporate U haul equipment transportation team asked me to transfer a tow trailer ( to get 50$ Discount for my purchase) and I had gone to the location to pick up the tow trailer, however, the employees said that I am not part of the U haul team and they cannot provide the tow trailer.tried calling the corporate office and they did not pick up either. I wasted almost an hour trying to get the trailer. I would suggest to have better communication with in the team before asking customers to transport items between places and wasting time
TARUN TI know this isn't necessarily something that can be controlled, but the location of the key box was in a hidden spot. It would help if there were a way to make it more obvious.

Brody LMy issue is not with the location. My issue is with the OVERALL process. What a nightmare!!! I filled out the online check in and then I had to fill it all in again at time of pick up. I was never told that I had to have 3 additional people verify who I am. Once I got someone on the phone it took 25 minutes to get the code to get the keys to the truck. I had a reservation and had talked to representatives twice. Why was none of this information shared? I ended up being 30 minutes late picking up the item I had rented the truck to get. Either share all these details up front via the webpage or via your representatives. I was extremely annoyed and frustrated with this whole process.
Dennis JNeed to work on the online process. I did everything as instructed tip speed things up and make it easier. But when I got there I didn't have a rental because someone else was supposed to get it, even though I had the email confirmation. But he did all the work and got me in a truck anyway so very pleased with the customer service.
Brody LMy original pick up date was Sunday 8/4/2019 at Minit Lube Marysville, Ohio. I was told and looked on line location would be open. Not open. Tried 24/7. Not user friendly. Was up graded x 2 to 26 ft. Not a good thing seeing we did not have enough to ship. The difficulty of drive and expense of gas was not acceptable. The 24/7 would not take my card info that had already been given to U-Haul. I called and canceled asking to find a different location with a more acceptable size truck. This made our travel off schedule. Work missed. Very poor.

Gary WSince the owner of the plaza will not allow uhaul to park in an area visible from the road, I had no idea this uhaul location existed. The sign in window was very small.
Neal LThey associate had not been trained on how to rent equipment. It took 30 minutes to get the paperwork ready while we sat and waited. Also, we wanted to pick up the truck at 9 but the store didn't open until 10 and we didn't find out until the day before. Also the cargo space of the truck had glitter all over the floor and we were charged to sweep it out even though it was there when we picked it up.
