I booked the rental online but selected to pay at counter. When i got to location they said they don't handle the rentals its all online. I called the help line and was told that I needed to download app and arrange for code to pick up keys. I downloaded the app but it wouldn't except the information of dates correctly so I couldn't complete pick up. I had to call back again and this time the agent was able to complete the reservation with me and sent me link to pick up truck. I should not have been able to select pay at location when i originally tried to book. ,it would have saved me a lot of frustration. Once i had the App the check in and out were very easy, and i will do that the next time.

Sarah WThe location and vehicle were fine. I did not make my reservation using your app. And yet after the reservation was made, I was forced to use the app. Most people may not care, but I did. There are privacy issues I’m sensitive to but you did not give me the option. Further , the app is extremely slow and frustrating to use. Next time I am forced to use the app, I’ll cancel my reservation.

Tony CThe app was not able to find my location on Safari iOS. Switch to Chrome and it worked. I was charged $25 to clean the truck but in reality the truck was not clean when I picked it up so I don’t understand why there’s an additional charge for cleaning. For Rental companies cleaning the car is part of the operation and the rental fee. The $1995 a day is deceiving. U-Haul nickels and dimes the customer leaving no choice when picking up the van. it also adds cost like the cleaning fee when the van is dropped off. Next time I will try another company where the price includes more of these items And there aren’t as many hidden fees.

Maryjayne BCrazy story. Picked up the van and drove 3 hours to Tiny in the freezing rain. On the way, a car in the opposing lane splashed slush across the windshield, and into the window, covering my face and obstructing my vision, I swerve a bit into the other lane but quickly correct it. About 30 mins later, I'm driving on a lonely country road when off in the distance, two black cars just slowly block the road ahead. I pull closer, an officer gets out of the car. He walks towards me and says "roll down the window, turn off the vehicle and get your driver's license." I say "Is there a problem officer?" (Another black car pulls up and blocks the road behind me) Officer: "We got a call about your driving" Me: "Oh yes, probably because I had slush splashed into my face by another car and it obstructed my driving." Officer: "Okay that is actually a solid explanation, it is slushy and freezing rain so I understand." "Did you rent this vehicle?" Me: "Yes I picked it up around 9 this morning" Officer: "Do you have the rental agreement?" Me: (Shows rental agreement) Officer: "You're lucky you had this, this vehicle was involved in a B+E last night." Me(Shocked): "A B+E? BREAKING AND ENTERING?" Officer: "Yup. What do you have in the back?" Me: "A bunch of broken down boxes... I'm going to empty a cottage..." Officer: "Hmm.. Okay well you have all of your information so give me a few minutes" (A few minutes of database stuff and examining the vehicle) (Officer comes back with a little grin, officer partner also smirking) Officer: "Okay Jordon, your information checks out. Turns out the vehicle we're looking for is actually 1 digit off from yours... sorry for the trouble, drive safe, have a nice day :) 10/10 experience

John AAgent gave me the wrong keys and I had to wait 45 minutes after a long day of moving to check out. Took 30 minutes to get someone on the phone and the chat person couldn’t help me.

Jeffery PI have used this location several times and continue to find they are superior to other uhaul and rental locations in responding to my needs. I actually own a boat trailer that I was looking to convert for utility use. However, The low cost of rental and lack of maintenance costs through this agent changed my mind. It is a great one day option.

Tracy CThe truck was still dirty from the previous renter. It was the usual winter dirt on the exterior and inside the cabin. But the cargo area was also dirty and clearly hadn’t been mopped out. Also, those 10’ cubes have an extremely cramped driver seat. I can’t imagine anyone over 6’ tall being able to safely drive the vehicle.

Matthew SOnline check-in was a awful. I had already given you my credit card, I gave you my driver’s licence, another alternate contact (my spouse) and then you wanted another alternate contact? That is absolutely ridiculous. What is the point if asking me for my credit card, then? You even asked for me employer contact information (and I really hope you didn’t call them). Too much; too invasive for the simple van rental. Never doing that again with you people.

GARY KCell signal/GPS signal/data coverage seems to have issues in the area so it complicated the online return a little bit. I don't know if offering Wi-Fi would help future clients?
MOHAMEDTAHA SI had to call several times before being able to speak with someone. The line was either busy or the phone would ring with no answer. I finally got through after a whole day trying on and off. I was told the trailer was out on a rental, so I gave my name and phone number to be contacted when it came back available. I never got a call back and had to go through the whole calling several times process to find out the trailer was available and just sitting there. However I was very pleased with the price of the rental and would be a return customer based solely on you fair prices.

john gThe self check in process causes a lot of issues and I waited almost 30 minutes with the help of the location clerk to get my vehicle. I felt I should have been further compensated the 30 minutes of time, but I wasn’t. The clerk was very helpful, but the U-Haul Call Center employées made the process much harder by fully cancelling my reservation and then we had to recreate it.
