Franklin LewisAmanda, is the best UHAUL person I have come across. Her care to ensure I have what I need is top rate. It is a shame that corporate scheduling always gets involved and has my volunteers and staff are driving hours to get equipment that should be where I asked for it. I suspect it is part of the corporate strategy to get more money on mileage. I wish corporate would support their local dealers better.

Tyler SkiverI ordered an appliance dolly and it was not in my truck when I went to pick it up. I did after hours pick up so no one was there to assist me. Not only did I have to go buy one but I had to make an extra trip and drive further to go purchase the dolly. I was still charged for something I didn’t receive.
Harold JosephCheck in app was having issues and resulted in a 45 minute delay in receiving key/truck. I had to call the 800# three times for assistance.

MARJORIE MCCRORY | ReservationReturned truck with 1/2 tank of gas as we received it. Was then charged 28.03 to fill it up full, I am assuming. Bad form U-Haul. If you want me to fill it up then tell me, sign in the truck, send a text or give me a truck with a full tank.

JOHN GullansLocation called and made me come in Saturday regarding rental of a 15' truck. Stated that "may not be here" on Sunday (date requested). I came by Friday on my way to work. Same exact truck I rented was there Friday AM. NO reason for me to come on Saturday (I live over 30min away - one way). Also your texting system is on overdrive - still getting texts today (Tues) to start rental checkin.

They seem to really care about helping you with your move and making your experience with them a good one! As a business owner myself I always appreciate customer service above and beyond most other companies. You should be proud to have them be associated with your brand! In short…. The clerk at the initial location was very apologetic, but the U-HAUL rep she contacted seemed unconcerned and only directed her to have us contact Customer Support. The Customer Support rep and the person at the second location were great!

donald curtis | Overall Experience-- When I picked up the truck opened the gate it was wet inside as it was leaking -- When I contracted the truck I have paid for 10 blankets, when I arrived to p/u non present. Was not notified of such until the morning of pick up, where I would have had time to get the truck from another location -- I have pre-paid the truck rental in the amount of $216.56 .---This included p/u on September 18th and return on September 21 Plus extra 40c for additional miles be paid at the time of drop off. -- the time of drop off, I was charged 3 additional days of $120 in error + extra miles of $66 ++, charge totaling $184.44 -- the next day, I have contacted drop off location to dispute $120, however he indicated that internally in his system it shows only 1 day rental and he can not do anything about it. -- soon after I have contacted U-Haul pick up location where the lady claimed that she can not help me as it is another U-Haul that charged me. I have asked for her manager to call me where she said she would call him ( his name is Spencer was told). Never received a call to resolve this issue. -- I have followed up again with p/u location and she told me she has nothing to do with this charge but she will again tell Spencer to call me and again no call to resolve this. Now I am out $120 with U-haul not wanting to take responsibility to clear this up. CARL AVERYFor me it’s unusual to need such a large truck. But for what all we had to move. With my storage unit 10 x 20. Plus few items out of my 10 x 10. It was well worth it. Just not easily available to me at the location where I’m buying my house and where my storage place is. Was almost 20 minute. Drive out of the way. But it was good with everything I had to get moved. Thank you

Simone DipaolaMy original pickup location at Longbranch Rd. in Dahlonega was the problem. Pickup time was 10:00. Got there at 10:15 and the place wasn't open. I called and got an answering machine. I waited, in the lot for 30 minutes and nobody came to assist. I was able to get the trailer at another location, in Dahlonega, which was excellent. Unfortunate events happen all the time but there should be some contingencies in place to assist. There was nothing.
Stan FreemanIt says online that the storage units are climate controlled. After showing up we found out that they in fact are not. The climate controlled ones are more expensive than competitors.
