I did have access to the key code to get the keys through the phone app. That was a real pain because I had to wait approximately 20 minutes because one customer service agent couldn’t help me so I had to wait for a specific agent for the key code. The time might have been longer. That cause a delay in me packing that night. The phone app also did not load well on verifying location and photos and I had great service in both areas. So when I sent the pictures at the end it did not seem like it loaded and said complete. I did not want to wait again for 10-15 minutes for customer service again just to ask a simple question. I did appreciate phone calls prior to my pickup date and end date to see if I had questions about the location. I think the app could work awesome if the above comments went smoother.

Fix the online checkout procedure. Get all of the information before the customer gets to the truck. This was a total hassle.

bernt sThe truck had not been cleaned when I picked it up. The windshield was covered in crap. The inside was clean. I had the unit reserved from another location which did not have one available, so I drove to the next location (again reserved from the first) and there was nobody there, and the door was locked, a sign on the door that said call this number, which went straight to voicemail several times. After waiting 15 minutes someone finally came to the door and the transaction proceeded normally.

Carol ADrop off went smoothly aside from the website not being able to find my location once again. Uhaul needs to revamp this system to make it more user friendly or at least provide a way for users having issues to correct the problem. The "location sharing" was not the issue. It was once again very frustrating.
