The gal who was at the desk and took care of us was awesome to work with. She was more than helpful and did a great job. The truck we got was a little worse for wear though. Had a difficult time getting up to speed and had a loud compressed air leak sound when accelerating. Motor stayed cool, and it got the job done.

This was one of the worse experiences of my life. This was supposed to one a one-day trip. The start was me being told my larger size was pushed down to a smaller size. I was relocated twice before getting the truck. After getting the truck at 2:00 because I was told my I.D. was enough, and it wasn't. I went to get my trailer which was the start of my living hell. Where a guy lied and said my cards were declined because he charged each card for 300.00 dollars. When the price was supposed to be 198. Causing my cards to be frozen. Which caused me to leave my car in Ohio for three days. Caused he lied again and ghost emailed me over the actual company. So...I was told I wouldn't be charged for my miles, and each day would be 40.00 days coming to a total of 80.00 overall, not including the charges for my trailer, which was finally discounted at 88.00. So.... I had to drive to Michigan. Drive back to Ohio to get my trailer which never happens. Drive back to Michigan and keep the truck for 3days. Drive back to Ohio to get my trailer which was relocated again. Finally, get my trailer and car( the guys who helped with the trailer were great!!). Drive back up to Michigan, which cost me 745 in gas...100 for the trailer...275 for the truck coming to basically 1,110. Just to be charged after the return for another 800 after being told a different price. Which means I'm 1900 dollars. Which Mike helped alot with. But noooo, this was aw

My overall experience was fine, but the trucks outside was very dirty. The inside was fine. The first pickup place had the truck I was supposed to get blocked in with a truck parked in front and beside it, with a car parked behind it. They were closed so no one there to move it. However, I called the reservation office that had called to tell me the preferred pickup place didn't have a truck. She was very helpful and got me a truck from the address listed. I was also chatting online with Christina and she did call me to help me fix the problem, but the girl I talked to in reservations already took care of it. I will review my bill because I got a larger truck at the new place and was not supposed to have to pay extra. Overall it was a good experience but only because of the 2 ladies that work for uhaul.

The terminology of equipment can be confusing. What U-Haul calls a furniture dolly is merchandised by manufacturers as a hand truck, and what U-Haul calls an appliance dolly is usually called a dolly or a four wheeler. This caused a problem when speaking over the phone as I needed a four wheeler to move 4x8 lumber sheets.

The man who serviced us was helpful, friendly, and polite. The truck was clean, the man made everything easy and explained everything thoroughly. Even told us to make sure there was no damage on the truck before leaving, so we weren't held responsible. Very happy with the service!

Make sure they tell you when you pick up a truck that it has to be dropped off at the same location. I called told them I was running late and someone told me to take it to another location and that wasn't the right place. So put extra milage on the truck.

I had so many issues with the mobile rental. It first was saying I have no rental and the page could not be found. Your app would just spin and spin. Check in took over fifteen minutes when it should only take less than 5! The back door is so rusted out it kept getting stuck and we couldn't get it down. Rust was falling off of it. Then the inside of the cargo area looked like there was blood dripping down the walls. I don't know if the previous person was transporting a live animal for slaughter but it was gross. I had to be cautious not to put our new couches near the sides for fear of staining. Then the return process took us 25 minutes. It was ridiculous. It would not load the page at all. It was awful. On top of that I was forced to rent from 45 minutes away from my house. I'm sure you're loving that extra mileage money I gave you. In addition I had to leave my car in a very sketchy area. Not pleased. Do not recommend.

Very appreciative of the owners flexibility in allowing us to pick up a bit early. We were expecting severe weather and wanted to leave sooner to avoid it and so glad we did! By allowing us to leave early, we missed driving right into a tornado.

Keep up on the maintenance of your trucks. My key wouldn't open my doors. The blinkers and wipers only worked sometimes unless I stopped turned the truck off and restarted it.

Girl working there by herself said she had no idea how to put the car on the car trailer and secure it, even though the uhaul agreement stated that a uhaul employee should confirm the vehicle is properly secured to the trailer. Also, the inside of the uhaul was not clean at all.

Was supposed to pick up trailer on Sashabaw Road, Clarkston on Saturday. Got text on Friday to contact UHaul - trailer was not there. Tried to get me one in Waterford… nope. Flint was next… a bit of a drive but, okay… needed trailer. Text received at 6:45AM Saturday that trailer was not there (a no return thing), but they would credit me $50 for failing to deliver (told me I was entitled to that and it was a UHaul guarantee… hmm) and they had one in Mount Morris… even further away. Ok… frustrating but $50 would help with gas and all the lost time. BTW BIG KUDOS to whoever works in Flint and was up early Saturday morning to try to help me BEFORE I got there! Outstanding! They confirmed the trailer was actually there in Mt Morris and not “hoping someone would return it.” Super nice girl working in Mt. Morris - KUDOS to her for being prompt and on time for work at 10:00 sharp - quick and easy rental experience with that location. My question is, why did they not credit me $50 when I had to call to learn there was no trailer in Clarkston with my first reservation? Why did the Flint person have to be the honest one? Anyway, the handful of hard working honest people that are still at UHaul will keep me coming back to and recommending UHaul. Thank you.

We had our UHaul scheduled to be picked up at the Grand Blanc location and after driving there were told our truck had been reassigned to the Mt Morris location though no email or text was sent to us. We wasted time and gas coming here and after having it changed to the Mt Morris location accrued more truck costs in mileage by driving back to Grand Blanc to move. Would recommend that everyone call ahead the day off to confirm the details of your truck. This was not the first mixup I have had with UHaul

Beware of the drop off time on your contract!!!! Drop off time was 10 a.m. and I was there at 10:45am. Uhaul said I was late and wanted to charge a late fee. Lucky for me that the owner was more than understanding and did charge me. Appreciated the owner but will look for another company.

Horrible experience. Paid one hundred dollars for a truck. Brought it back one hour late and we wasn't eligible to get the rest of our money. The truck was dirty cup holders had dirt in then and dirt all on the floor in the front passenger side and driver side etc. Filled the tank back up and i owed 15.41. Will never give you all business ever again

More variety of things To rent. Truck was not clean to my standard but it probably was to U-Haul standards (one of the cup holders was full of gravel/sand). Mostly disappointed in the online check-in process which took me over an hour.

Make sure the back of the truck is clean for the next person I couldn't find anything to do with the pallets left in the truck from when we got it so I had to return them with the truck and the back wasn't swept out and there was something on the walls of the back of the truck

Someone is using the truck to stay warm in while they smoke joints in it. All we could smell was dope and they even let some behind on the floor. When you turn the heater on you can really smell it bad. The truck was dirty and smelled really bad.

On the question of equipment being clean and well maintained. Yes everything was very clean but rear gate/roller door was difficult to raise or lower. Probably rollers and tracts should have been lubricated. I plan to use the Mount Morris UHaul rental for any of my moving needs. Personal were very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. Also, just a FYI. I wanted to rent a cargo ramp to make loading the trailer easier but the UHaul person said as far as they knew UHaul do not carry ramps for use in/on their cargo trailers.? Be awesome if you did have ramps to rent with your trailers.

Reservation was scheduled for 24 hours, at time of pick up, they told me I only had 6 hours. Not happy! Truck got very poor mileage, maybe 4 or 5 miles to gallon. Truck cab was dirty and smelled bad with cigarette smoke
