by his watch we were 5 minutes past closing time for the uhaul service time, and he made a big deal out of that and what a “favor” he was doing by processing the return. never mind that the truck wasnt due back for two more days and we would have been fine doing the return thing ourselves online. then he scolded us for not having folded up blankets, telling us we would be charged for that, even though i never paid for blankets to be available in the first place, and when we got the truck they were just there and piled up, which is exactly how we left them. we tried to explain that, but we still had to go back out and fold them. no big deal, but what a rude way to treat people

Lawrence EThe self check in online process is terrible and needs to be fixed. The Mr. Tire location is great and they were very helpful when the online pick up didn’t work, but uhaul needs to fix their system.

BEARTRIZ MI returned the truck after hours but it was clear on what to do with the app and where to drop the key. I would use this spot again as it is close to my house and on a public bus line.

RITA DMillage was off by one numeral, overcharging me hundreds of dollars. Won’t ever rent from UHaul again as they make their claims process unbearable to work with. I’ve spoke with 3 different people on this issue and I’m still being charged.

Emma JPictures for the before rental inspection showed a completely fine vehicle but the actual vehicle had been in an accident and the door doesn’t fully seal so it’s hotter then normal and you can hear air rushing in while you drive

Piero PWhen I ordered the truck online, I declined the insurance. When my husband picked it up they tried to swell him insurance again and he declined it. When we returned the truck I noticed a $15 safe travels charge. I asked about it and he said it was insurance. When I told him we had declined insurance not once but twice, he told me there was nothing he could do about the charge and I’d been in an accident I wouldn’t be there complaining. Wow. If this is the way you meet your sales goals, that’s pretty sad. I will be contesting this charge with my credit card. And posting my comments in an online review.

Weilun TI dropped the truck off after regular business hours. The online process was convenient and user-friendly.
Nathaniel MI dropped off and did the online checkout link but they billed me $20 and I had to spend 20 minutes at least with customer support to get it back. Luckily the regional guy did get it back to me right away once we finally connected

MONICA SGet rid of this location... We were charged for 3 extra days. That was a screw up on this location. We called UHaul on the road and they said they would adjust. They did not. Crappy service and record keeping.

Sou SUhaul truck didn't have proper tires which caused us to get stuck 2 times. 1st time a few friendly neighbors and a hour later we get out just get stuck again 1 block away from my home and again a few friendly neighbors and 3 hours later I ended up have to get roadside assistance which cost a lot and I was unable to move.

Jean MI told the guy the back latch on the truck was frozen shut and I couldn’t open it.. his advice was to just drive it to my destination and it would open.. it did not .. I spent over an hour trying to get it open and eventually had to use a crow bar..

Richard SThe only thing I was misled on was the after hours checkout process. I was told to download the mobile app and complete a self checkout and do it at the location because it is GPS enabled. I sat in the parking lot, downloaded the app, went to self checkout, and this location was not an option. It was only after I got home that I saw a text with a link to follow to do the self checkout, not through the mobile app, but I couldn’t do it at home because of the GPS thing. So I tried saving $20 for after hours drop off, but I got bad instructions and it didn’t work.

ABDELHAMID AI originally had a U-Haul scheduled for Thursday the 29th of September, that a booked about 2 month in advance. It was listed as available. I was informed with very short notice that the truck was not available and the closest one was 40 miles away. This turned my move into a logistical nightmare.
CHAD AThe truck doesn’t start easily, the key gets locked up. You have to force the clutch up and then turn the key for the truck to start. Also was charged for a utility dolly that I wasn’t supplied or used.

Julie SI originally booked the New Hope location, without reaching out to me they switched the pick up locations to northeast. The only communication about this was sent in a confirmation text, which was buried deep during a busy work week. I realize I didn’t click the link, but didn’t receive a phone call or email about the change. This was frustrating and I was disappointed with the company for their lack of communication. Otherwise- great experience.
laura PEverything went smoothly and checking out rental truck was a quick process and all info was simple, direct and accurate. Thankful even though arriving 15 mins before closing, the customer service representative was friendly and very helpful, took time to explain everything & gave clear instructions and the price was great! I did try downloading the App but I wasn’t successful on my side, no fault of UHaul. Even without the App to help with reserving/CheckIn&Out it still was a relatively quick process even with several customers there at the same time. Thank you and it’s such a blessing to have these rentals available. Saved us a lot of time moving! God bless #TeamUHaul!
BEV FThe customer service agent was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He would not tell me how much I was being charged on my return which I thought was odd. Then I heard him outside talking about extra charges for cleaning. I looked in the back and saw a few leaves in the trailer so I told him let me clean it out. He said no it was too late. At this point I asked him what the hell his problem was because he had been acting bizarre and his customer service was awful. At this point he started screaming at me that I was banned from Uhaul. This person clearly does not like working in customer service and in my opinion should not be working at all.
Marshall SCommunication was very poor I was given incorrect information a had a one way and was told I can drop off in the area where I was moving to only find out they picked 3 different locations which where all closed than I was told to take it to Schmit towing which closed at 4:30 and when I was given that information it was after 5pm so I had to keep the U-Haul for an extra day and was charged for it after I had to take it to 3 different locations that was closed I asked a lady by the name of Sammie to add extra miles so I didn’t be charged she was very rude I asked to speak with a manger because after three locations and no extra miles for sending to places she should have known was closed was very upsetting she hung up in my face, laughed talked to me very disrespectful about how it’s not her fault those places where closed I never got a chance to talk to a manger she said she was in charge and I would love for someone in CORPORATE to give me a call at this point I don’t wanna talk to anyone from the office she works in
