McDaniels is a great storage facility. I think it rained eight inches in a small amount of time while I had storage and no leaks or issues. Staff is courteous, helpful and you can trust them. Will definitely use again.

Unbeknownst to me, this location was closed on Sunday which was my date to return. I dropped the truck off easily with no issues, the location is nice and convenient, but I received an email later that day saying that they had not received my equipment and I was being charged extra. I called and was on the phone for over an hour trying to get it resolved. Everyone I talked to at Uhaul was frustratingly unhelpful and I was on hold for 99% of it. Turns out, the only issue was that the place was closed and my return had not been processed. The email was automated and I had to wait until the next day to find out if Uhaul was going to charge me extra. Very frustrating! Uhaul needs to fix this glitch in their after hours system so it doesn’t happen to someone else.

The staff at McDaniels were great and stayed a little over their closing time to assist me. The need for them to stay was because Uhaul changed my pick up location and failed to notify me. I arrived at the location that was in my original order and it was closed down! Fortunately someone from McDaniels called me that morning and I learned about the location change when I called her back. I had to drive to the next town (25 minutes I had not planned for) and inconvenienced their wonderful staff because Uhaul representatives failed to do their job. This is unacceptable!

There were no blankets and hence the cost was meant to be removed. I was billed for 1 blanket / moving pad, however. Dropping off the trailer was very frustrating as the app would insist on taking a fresh photo, but none would upload. 30 minutes of trying ro use the app followed by 5 minutes on a call with an agent...

I have rented many times from uhaul i am always offered insurance and decline. At tgis location i was not offered insurance and it was just added to my bill witgout my acceptance. I was tikd when i queatuoned tgis on my return rhat most people juat get it and she doesnt jave to ask.

The day before we were to pick up the truck, we were informed there was no truck at the loction and that we would have to drive to another town to get the vehicle. Since we had already arranged for help this was not workable.Was told we could pick up truck one day early at no charge.When we turned truck in we were charged the extra day.

This location was fine, but the problem was with U-Haul! When we
went to pick up unit after hours, we not able to go thru system to
unlock box to get the keys because the system was down, which
made come back a second time. It also took well over an hour to get some on the line and go thru the process to get the keys.This is a very poor way to operate.

There are two location for McDaniels Storage. The one I found was on 280 with a HUGE sign that read "McDaniel's Storage." However the actual U-Haul drop off place was down the road further with an sign that simply reads McDaniel's. I found this out weeks later after not finding anyone at the drop off location office even when it said they should be open. If you come from the North on 280 you can easily drop off at this wrong "McDaniel's Storage." I called Uhaul and they did not say anything about this problem either when I tried to drop the Van off.
