I returned the truck with over a quarter tank more gas than I was required, you only gave me 111 miles to accomplish the trip and I went 11 miles over and you still charged me $1.00 per mile that I went over even though I returned the truck with over $40 more gas than I was required to. That's pretty pathetic. But today's businesses are greedy and don't care about customer satisfaction the way businesses did 30 years ago. I'll never do business with uhaul ever again nor will I recommend uhaul to a friend. Kind of petty charging me $11 when I left the truck with $40 more gas than I started with.

Roger PAll of your trucks say you can leave the equipment at uhaul any time of day or night. yet we left the uhaul at Marzuco Electric, 206 Progress Dr. Perryville, MO 63775. and they charge my credit card with out my permission a $20.00 after hours fee. if the truck and the paper work both say drop off any time, how can they charge me for after hours. This is very bad business practice if you are going to charge someone extra money, it should state either in the truck or on the paper work that drop off sites reserve the right to charge after hours fee. As no one asked me or told me we waited to the end of the business day to drop off. Had I know that this charge would be place on my card. We would have dropped it off the next day as we still had one more day on our Receipt. This sucks and I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . We regularly rent u-hauls to haul items to our construction site and have never been charged before. When I called to get my money back the lady said to bad, I can do this if I want to. Very poor attitude for a representative of u-haul. Doesn't say much for the company when you advertise not only on the paperwork but in the truck as well, and then charge a service when it is drop off after hours.

DARRELL HAgain, disappointed with U-Haul. The U-Haul App would not let me do the drop off and return. A Human had to do the return/drop off for me. On a good note, the trailer worked out excellent.

John HOriginal email said it would be a 2 day rental. Text received said it needed to be returned next day. At pickup dash light indicated left front tire was low on air. This was reported to individual checking us out. Her response was , can you go to the gas station to fill it up with air?

DENVER VThe location was great, however, renting anything from U-Haul absolutely sucks. There was way too much to do and too many steps to take. The fact that I had to be standing next to the dolly to return. It was ridiculous. I dropped it off and was in a hurry so I went to where I needed to go and try to check it in only to have to drive back to check it in. Plus there are way too many steps for that rental and check back in process. I would probably recommend someone to use another company when U-Haul.

Ranae WMy pick up location was moved multiple times, I’d pick a place and get a call the next day saying it was being moved to another location and then it happened again. And again. I was given an allowance of miles below what I would need. And despite having a reservation set with all info needed the person who checked out the truck to me had all the wrong info to where I had to call and re confirm and change the drop off location back to the place I picked originally and not one that would tack on an additional 20 miles.

CALEB BThe lady I spoke with on the phone was very rude threatened to charge me extra for my quote attitude give me the wrong number for the manager so I couldn't call the manager then when I called her back and told me that the number was wrong she wanted to proceed to call me at wire argue with me about how much city taxes were and then it hangs up on me and blocked my phone number so I no longer could call the store back. Worst customer service I dealt with anywhere. I was originally told that all the charges were going to be dropped except for the cleaning charge in the gas charge which would have came out to $43 and then my husband tells me that he had to pay $53 to the whole reason why I even called the Perryville location Pacific her out where the extra $10 came from and she wants to tell me that it $10 taxes. I don't know where she went to school and got her math education but 8% in tax for $43 charge does not come out to $10 and taxes

Jerry HFor older people who are not that tech savvy to not charge the extra 20 because you dont want to do paperwork the next day. It was not the company I rented from but u haul yourself. Not everyone has smartphone and even them tech savvy. I dont think u should charge an extra 20. Disappointed in that.

BRADLY HWhen trying to reserve, the person helping me sounded irritated that I had questions and didn’t know what I needed to reserve. She told me to do it on line. I had problems on line and had to wait 45 minutes on hold to talk to someone, who ended up being very helpful. When picking up the truck I did online and it takes a long time to get thru that. I think in person would have been faster. Dropping off the truck, someone had broken into the key drop box so had to call the police and that was an hour out in the cold waiting for them and the owner to get there to give the keys back. This is the only local place to rent a truck. My experience was not the best unfortunately.

Lacey CThe lady who helped me pick up the trailer was very nice. However the other lady who was there and she was also the one who I dealt with during the return is extremely rude. Also the trailer was not in good condition, the lights on the driver side were not working, I had to repair the ground wire that was cut in order to have working lights.
Joshua CThis renting a U-Haul by phone doesn't work for everybody and the personal service at this place was not the best and I was charged 3 times on my credit card I've got to get that straightened out I will call my credit card company and get it lined out if U-Haul cannot help me I was told not to come in got a mask then I was told I couldn't read know anything I'm crippled had 17 back surgeries & 3 neck surgeries hip surgery and knee surgery and I couldn't lean on anything or sit down, it hurts to to stand for very long. ?? while I was there another man came in she didn't tell him to put on a mask I used a hanky and made a mask and any waiting on the counter without getting yelled at then another couple came in she didn't say nothing to them she was very impolite to me I was trying my best to get a truck rented I don't know what happened but I've got three charges on my credit card 212 dollars twice and $109 in change is what the correct amount was when I returned the truck today thank you I hope you can help somebody else I don't know if I'll ever rented U-Haul again.

Cynthia MAbsolutely horrible experience. Was supposed to pick up truck at 11. Had issues with logging in so didn’t get the truck until 12. Once I finally got the truck I got home with it and there was a lock on it. Called customer service and spoke to a representative who said I needed to find the tools to cut off the lock because they didn’t have a code. Then transferred me to a rep who told me I could drive an hour away to get a smaller truck since I didn’t have the tools to remove the lock. So I went and returned the truck. I called customer service again once I got home to make sure I was not charged and the rep then tells me she has codes I can try for the lock and if they don’t work she can just put me in a different truck at the same location. Mind you this was after 2 different reps told me that there wasn’t any other trucks in my location and also that they had no idea what the codes could’ve been. Thank goodness for the last rep that I spoke too because we figured out the code and I was able to start moving at 2. To top things off, I checked my bank account this morning and I was charged for BOTH trucks. $86 for one and then $30 for the other. Called customer service and they said it was going to take a week to get my money back for the first truck. This was a huge headache and I will never rent a uhaul from here again.

Angela ANeed more training. I was not told about daily rates verses flat rate. I picked up in Perryville Missouri and drove to Ste.Genevieve Mo. My daughter was moving 1/2 mile from her house. If I was told I could return the truck to Marzuco Electric and save money I would of done it. Instead it costs me twice as much.

Skyler NWhen I picked up the I haul it was dirty on the interior and smelled like smoke. I put an air freshener in to make it smell better. The next day when I was traveling with the uhaul we had heavy rain all day, both windshield wipers where ripped and in need of replacement. I had a hard time with seeing the road as the wipers could not clean the windshield! It was a stressful trip.
