The owner was very helpful. He met me after hours as I was driving from 3 hours away to get this truck.
Eleanor AWe booked a 26 ft truck on February 24 for pickup at deBono’s Stop &go in Cape Coral, a 12 minute drive from our house. Last Friday I got a text confirmation that the rental was confirmed at that location. Saturday morning at 7:15 we stopped to get the truck . The shop owner said there was a problem. The truck was delivered to ft Myers and it was rented to someone else! I couldn’t believe it !. He called U_Haul and then handed me the phone. The lady on the other end said there was a truck at La Belle Florida. We had no choice as we hired help to load. We drove an extra 126 miles to get a truck I booked a month before! I expect a full refund plus a car trailer rental as compensation! Our moving trip was 85 miles ! The app is also shit ! It gives wrong information and tells you you can drop off the truck but the location is closed on Sundays! It takes me a long time to get angry but I stay there a long time !

John HOur original pickup location was changed, we did not receive any notice of this change. Upon arrival the location was closed, a woman came to the door and told us we were cancelled. This was not correct and caused us great upset, we eventually got partial info from her about new location and found it. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE on the original location, NEVER to do business there again! The new location is rated above.

DAVID TThe truck that I was rented was actually reported as stolen sometime in January. This caused me to be pulled over in GA and suffer a time delay as well as emotional stress due to the situation, especially still having 1000 miles to drive to my final destination. My wife has been trying to email and contact customer service and the field manager to no avail. The field manager has not responded to the multiple emails. We would like a refund for this transaction due to the terrible situation Uhaul placed us in.

KEITH LTell the TRUTH about the equipment and the charges on the bill! I was lied to about the equipment, and not informed of the charge for insurance ( which I DO NOT NEED )!!! MY auto insurance covers ANYTHING I rent.
