Location was not even open, I had to contact them by telephone, never received ant paperwork. I booked a much smaller truck than what was available. When I returned the truck the location still was not open, no one answered the phone. I had to just drop the keys and trust to luck.

They won't be awake when you get there. You'll have to go beat and bang on the RV and wake them up.

We were quoted $29.95 for the day. We told them it would be a one way rental, as we would be dropping off in Sarasota (rented in Lutz). They said yes. They did not tell us it would be $115 one way. We didn’t find out till we got an email. I think this is dishonest, it feels like a bait and switch! We put gas in it, and knew about milage. But had no idea it would be TRIPLE what they quoted us

Was not on site when we went to pick up, and never showed up. Handled the entire thing over the phone. Then, despite turning in the trailer, he charged us for 2 additional days and never corrected (despite multiple text messages confirming that he would). Shady spot, will never use again.

No one available at the pickup site to help me with signing up for the rental, had to do it by phone with someone who was definitely from another country. Very awkward situation. Would definitely use another U-Haul location the next time I need a moving truck.

Place is a gas station that is not functioning. Attendant was not there when I arrived. Had to wait for him to arrive to provide the keys to the truck. The dolly that I had included in the reservation was not available. This was the second place I had to go to because the location of the original reservation was closed. Not sure what is happening here. At least was able to get the truck and perform my planned move.

Facility was closed upon arrival at 11am... had to call and ask for someone show up. This individual directed me to move the truck and trailer to 3 different locations on the property before directing me to back the trailer into a very tight spot, individual at facility stated they were unable to drive a trailer. No inspection was performed with me there, in fact they refused to inspect the equipment or provide any type of return document until after I left. Very poor experience with drop off...if I were uhaul I wouldn't want them representing me.

Uhaul has been around for quite some time and we have used Uhaul in the past to assist with a few moves, nothing major. However, this was a major move for us and we though going with Uhaul was the best decision. We soon came to regret that because a) the truck we reserved was not ready at our location of choice, b) our reservation was sent off to some make-shift dingy-sketchy place where the owner slept inside the shop- place and he did not greet us at the door. Instead, the place was locked and secure -after checking we called him and he was there just not 'opened for business.' Nonetheless, c) we were given our truck but not the two utility dollies and furniture dollies we requested. d) We were not offered a refund for the equipment we originally rented but not given. e) upon return of the truck, the lady did not confirm everything was set, she just took the keys and walked away. We were left in the dark until we received a receipt on line. Lets just say we may very well never use UHAUL again for the duration of our lifetime. How absurd was the customer service. I do not understand why UHAUL declined. We are quite disappointed and dissatisfied.

Attendant has no knowledge of processing procedures. Had to call someone to “walk him through”. Did not give a paper receipt. Facility was terrible. Was a previously abandoned gas station. Very unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place to an enemy, And never a friend.

We absolutely love renting trucks and booking our movers through U-Haul. We have used the services eight or nine times. That said, this pick up location was not enjoyable and a first time customer probably would have not booked again because of it. This is essentially a closed down gas station functioning as a pick up location, but they keep all the doors locked, we had to walk around the building and through windows and knock on windows and doors to try to find somebody to come to the front of the building and unlock the door to let us in. Then once we did that the guy seem to be completely out of it and did not know where the keys were . After a while he came back upfront and he had found the keys. While it was not a big deal to us, I think it would have deterred other customers away from using U-Haul again

The truck we reserved was not available. We had accept a smaller truck, which made our move more difficult. We reserved it for 7:30 am and did not get a truck until 8:45 am. I also reserved a couple of hand trucks or dolly and did not get them, which also made my move more difficult. The area for pick up and drop off is an old gas station and it just didn't seem very well maintained.
