The truck was not safe to drive at all. The brakes were not working well. Seems like the wheels also needed to be aligned because the steering wheel needed to be held.

Mark OI originally rented one for pick up at 112 Clark Road in London because it was convenient to where I was going. Website said guaranteed to be there or $50 credit. The day before I was to pick it up U-haul called me and said it wasn’t gonna be there and I had to pick it up on York street which is way to far out of the way for me and the person that called didn’t seem to care that I couldn’t pick it up at the guaranteed location and said a credit is not their problem so it was cancelled. I had to re-rent it one at Horvath whos much better people to deal with. I’m not happy with my experience but I am glad Horvath Auto was able to rent me one in the end.

DAVIDJ DHave everyone actually know what's available. I rented a 26 foot truck and ended up with a 20 footer for a 4 hour move. I ended up scrambling for more space.
TERESALYNN NThe place was already closed before 5 pm on a Saturday, necessitating the use of online dropoff, which is a pain to begin with. On top of that the drop box for the key was broken, forcing me to make a call to uhaul to find out what I was supposed to do with the key since if could not be left in an wide open box hanging on a wall. All of this took way longer and was way more frustrating than reasonable after I had I made the effort to drop the truck off early to deal with a human being. I was not impressed at all and when I called customer service to get some compensation for the hassle, I got nothing but a sorry. Not good enough. I will reconsider using uhaul in the future.

Rick BTrailer was a piece of CRAP! It wobbled on the highway so bad I was afraid to tow it. Had to keep speed below 100kmh my trip was 3hrs of hell fighting to keep trailer on the road. discovered that it had 3 bias ply tires and 1 radial tire(which is illegal) Also trailer had a broken brake spring broken. I could have had an accident due to U-hauls negligence I expect a phone call regarding this

cherie hHave the website update where equipment is located - for example, if I choose Baden,ON the website should only show me locations that actually have the equipment I want to rent. I was choosing locations near me, and then would get an email saying the rental was booked somewhere an hour away. The website is misleading in this regard. So I ended up calling U-Haul MULTIPLE times trying to find equipment in a location that actually worked for my needs. Also, at one point my equipment would have been rented from 2 different locations, so I decided to rent a truck from a different service because of this nightmare booking system. So my suggestion for the next customer is if the equipment is not at the location they chose, please call them and see what other location would work best for them before reserving somewhere random and having the customer have to cancel and find a new location.

john hNothing. Customer service was OUTSTANDING. When I was done with the trailer and returned it I was concerned over backing it in. They offered an employee to do it for me. Perfect customer service I will FOR SURE rent from them again.
Richard B- use of employee personal phone to take DL photo - not secure with my personal information - 20' truck - had been previously used to transport marihuana - smelled terrible and the odor permeated through my belongings - not impressed as this truck should not have been rented out this way.
