First of all my rental was transferred from Wrightsboro rd to this wheeler road location. I didn't receive and email or phone call to tell me this. This caused me to lose about 30 minutes and I was late picking up my daughter from school. Then I get there and it's a lot next to a gas station. I went in the gas station, and he did have my reservation which was fine, but he said he was by himself and couldn't leave the store. He then asked me to come back to the gas station so he could inspect it after i hooked it up. I had to go next door and hook it up in the rain by myself and the lot is muddy. Well i was aggravated and late after all this so I did not go back over for him to inspect it. Also I would have had to turn left on a 4 lane road and another left to get back into the gas station. Lots are divided by a curb.

one employee was in the store trying to help customers and help u-haul customers. we were waiting for over 30 to 40 minutes, which this process of picking up a key usually take 10mins because we complete all the paper work before we got their. there was a dialog difference when talking the employee I had to keep repeating myself. the store usually have two employees in there one helping customers with gas and what's in the store and the other doing the u-haul.

The gas station that this drop off location was located at had no clear markings on where vehicles should be dropped off. The car dollys and rental trucks were just scattered across the parking lot and the grass of the empty lot next door. Overall vibe of the place was really sketchy.

The equipment I reserved was not on site. The truck, while being a late model, reeked of weed. This was NOT the location I requested, it was an additional 8 miles when the place i requested was a U-Haul center that had multiple trucks and trailers available. This started my rental off with a 3 hour delay.

Insure that you have the right mileage and the gas is correct on the truck before renting it out. Both the mileage and gas were wrong on the truck and I got charged for it. I reported this to customer service before I left with the truck. I was told by the customer service representative that it would be noted on my account it was not.

Location is more focused on selling vapes, cigarettes and gas than fulfilling UHaul customer reservations. My truck was very dirty, lots of debris and sand in the cab. Cup holders and dash area was so grimy we cleaned with Clorox wipes. The moving pads were all dirty and just thrown in the back of the truck, completely unfolded. One of the moving pads had motor oil on it which got on my husband’s pants which I’m sure they are ruined. They charged me $30 for these filthy pads which was $10 more than website. I think I should be refunded some portion of my costs because this experience was so far below any of my previous UHaul experiences. If my needs are ever referred to this location again I will not use it.

Hop N Go was not the location my contract said to return the trailer to. The location on my contract was 3745 Wheeler Rd @ the Split Stop. I had printed this before leaving for my trip, I am not one of these people who lives by a cell phone and is constantly checking it for updates. We were tired after loading, driving and unloading at our destination. We immediately returned the trailer to the split stop took the photos and did the check in process it was confirmed the trailer was successfully returned and I received a text saying that. We then got a text message later to return the trailer to a different location. The gentleman sending this text was less than friendly, in the future make sure u haul knows where the equipment should be dropped off at. Hop N Go may be a great location it was just not the location I was advised to drop off at. I wouldn't recommend the Split Stop.

Your Wheeler Rd U-Haul centers is one of the worst experiences I have ever had in customer service. Pickup went fair once I made it through the line of lottery ticket sales. She at least got me the truck and gathered info properly. Upon returning the truck I waited in that line again only to be sent to another line where I was told by the cashier he doesn’t speak English and he prompted me to come around the counter and see if I understood how to check the truck back in.. He then kept screaming I have customers and did not return to that computer or me again. I finally went to U-Haul.com and found a way to check the truck back in myself. This location has horrible reviews and I should have checked that first. I was actually afraid to leave the keys to the truck with that guy. For a 5 hour service for a truck rental I spent almost 2 hours there. You have got to get out of that place, there are lines of lotto ticket buyers and homeless people that hit everyone up for more money to buy more lottery tickets. One guy stayed there all day and kept using the money people gave him to buy more tickets..

besides the issues with the u-haul site not accepting my ID and the truck that was requested was sent off for repairs, received different truck and had barely at 1/4 a tank of a gas.

The truck was on empty when I first got it, not sure if that’s normal for uhauls. Also the truck smelled and was slightly dirty on the inside and when I went to return the key who ever was at the counter at the time had no idea what to do with the key which meant poor communication he could lose the key and say I never returned it all In all it was a terrible experience I only chose that location because it was all that was available at the time next time I’ll practice better time management to avoid poor service

The poor young woman on shift was the only one behind the counter both running the convenience store register snd u Haul - she had at least forty register and lottery clients and trying to help me - it was not her fault but piss poor staffing on the store owners fault! I had made a reservation and had a confirmation at the uhaul large facility in wrightsbiro Riad where Ms Sharon is manager ( I use them regularly) but “ SOMEONE - not me supposedly cancelled it and they did not have a truck for me - they shifted the reservation to the Broad Street location – and when I arrived there, they said they didn’t have a truck and wouldn’t have one for about an hour – so they shifted my location to the hop and go which the poor clerck was overwhelmed ! I started out with a 930 reservation to pick up my truck on Wrightsboro Road and finally ended up getting one I think about 1230 at the hop and go meaning my move was severely delayed and my day completely screwed up ! Also - I am a senior citizen but above average electronic skills but being made to “ check myself out via U-haul app versus simple key drop off is completely moot cool when you have already been aggravated with the rental to start with and the delay causing you to work thru the hottest part if a 98 degree day! I don’t think I have ever complained before – but this experience was ridiculous! Jim Cartee

The lady that work there was acting like she didn't want me to rent there after I told her I had one Reserve. Rented it going on 9:30am she told me to have it back by 11:30am at that time I informed her my time say 1:30pm drop off. All around bad customer service

The employees are lazy don't verify anything 9n vehicle send you back and forth to take pics with your phone for mileage and fuel level. There was broken mirror pieces in back. No ac transmission slips. Then when I got there even though I am disabled and you can tell by the device on my leg. She made me walk back and forth to the truck FOUR times. Never in my life will I use that store

They charge me a lot for a few hours of using the truck. Then they charged me twice for God knows what. Then the process of returning the truck is ridiculous. I have used uhaul before and never had such a terrible experience like this time.

The location needs to better park the equipment.....its parked over sans where the front foot of the equipment digs into the sand and its too low to hitch it on to a vehicle. A block of wood or cement block would remedy this

Use a uhaul location. The truck was dirty with cigarette butts and trash from previous use. Check-in was supposed to guarantee a dozen furniture pads and he had 1. Had one lock to purchase and it was too small to lock the back door. Very bad first impression

No moving pads!! I had ordered 3 dozen ! they rather sell lottery tickets than wait on uhaul customers. You have to do everything thru your phone, even the return during store hours, the clerk did reluctantly help with the return because the link was for after hour return but only offered a qscan for your phone.

Horrible. The trailer was still attached and the employee at the desk said that they do not help customers attach or detached the trailers. I informed him that I could not do it. He told me to watch a YouTube video and that he could not leave his desk and that he had hernias. I had to run around the parking lot asking customers to help. After 45 minutes they owner of the business arrived and helped me finally get the trailer from the truck and on to my vehicle! His little kids were running around all over which is dangerous. They had no back there for the trailer which is very heavy. I was late because of all this and unable to make it to my storage unit before they closed. Thereby making me behind in my move! I was very angry and called U-Haul and they said I would get the $50 credit because the trailer was not ready for me on time. I still have not received this credit!!!! Very unprofessional and there was no apology for my inconvenience of not being able to get to my storage unit before they closed and setting my trip behind an entire day!!

It's not good to have a location that does not check your tow equipment to see if it is the one, and I, had to hook the trailer to my truck, the business does not do it.

Upon arrival and completing mobile checkin. I got the unit home and found the back cargo area was filthy. The loading ramp was caked up with dirt/potting soil and required the truck to be cleaned before we could load. Also mechanically the truck hesitated starting on multiple occasions, letting out a grinding noise from the starter/flex plate. Luckily was able to complete move even with the issue.

Make sure all tires are properly serviceable before handing over a vehicle to a customer. I recieved a vehicle with a flat tire, and that could have been catastrophic. The vehicle was also disgusting and smelled like urine in the cargo space and cab, and had stains from liquids in the cargo space.

I had reserved a dolly with the truck. I stopped by this location the day before to make sure they had everything ready. I was told they didn’t have a dolly and I would have to go to a different uhaul to get one. I objected to this and the attendant called someone and told me a dolly would be delivered before my pickup the next day. When I got there the clerk said they didn’t have a dolly and I’d have to get one at a different location. This would further delay my move and est into my mileage and gas! I called uhaul customer service and they put me on hold for 20 minutes. I eventually cancelled the dolly so I could go on with my move.

Ease of obtaining the rental with smooth check-in process. I cannot think of anything that could improve for the next customer. The location is ideal, that check-in and out is all completed on the smart phone using the U-Haul app. Customers need to come prepared and ready to go
