I called and reserved a truck for pickup on Friday morning at 9:30 when the uhaul office opened. I called at 8:30 in the morning and explained I was dropping off a rental car at enterprise 2 miles north of Henslers and I had to walk to Henslers but I would be there around 9:30. While walking down their long driveway a car was pulling out. It was the woman who worked in the uhaul office that I had dealt with last time I rented a truck from them (a very good experience). Upon reaching the uhaul office I was informed by a gentleman who works for Henslers towing that the woman I saw driving away had a meeting to attend and the other woman who works in the office had called in sick and I would have to use the online app. It was a nightmare. I worked with one of the uhaul phone representatives named Caleb for an hour and 45 minutes trying to do it online. The site kept crashing and messing up sending me back to the beginning. I read many reviews from other uhaul customers complaining about the app. It really should fixed.

Cannot say enough good things about Henslers. They go above and beyond for being customer friendly. This was my second time going to them and there will be more! This is the place to rent from folks.They are awesome!

Clean the windshield and use a little 409 on the interior. Fix the driver side door. It is hard to latch completely.

I do not recommend to anymore if you are using mobile device pick up, processing thru Phone is NOT accurate, I got there then I open the uhaul apps then follow the instructions, then after scanning my ID and taking picture of my self next instruction find the vehicle since I will rent a Van U Haul it’s the only Van there I knew that’s the one, but the instruction said “ Locate your equipment number on the front of the van, in the bottom left-hand corner” I can’t find it at all. I ask someone and he said they suppose to give me a code then the U haul box I suppose to get the Key for the Van, which I didn’t get any code. At this time I called U haul number to figure it out, someone answer my call and I ask what’s my code for the uhaul box so I can get the key, I tried that code IT DIDNT work, later on I saw this lady going to u haul office, I ask her, she made a phone call and she tries to open my u haul box to get the Key, again it’s failed. She went inside to find the Key and she found it inside the building. So it’s wasn’t inside the U Haul Box after all. I’m glad that Racheal help me out, I lost 30 minutes of my time trying to get the Keys and figure out what’s going on.

I rented my vehicle September 23rd. The vehicle appeared cleaned. After we begin moving stuff in the vehicle I notice baby roaches in the front and roaches under the black mat in the back. Did I have time to take pictures of roaches?! Absolutely not . I was too focus on getting my family clothing out of that U-Haul truck. I will never rent from this location or any location. U haul has not returned my call. They just keep saying I’m going to escalate and no one is actually following up. It’s terrible business. Really we all know that roaches do not sit still for a picture. That van was obviously not clean and poor management. Of course you will not own up to your mistake. Beware when renting !!

The lot was large and they had a good variety of Uhaul options. Area was organized and plenty of room to maneuver around. The woman that helped me was friendly and helpful, though a bit distractible. I went to back my car up and she hooked me up. While I was doing the check on my phone she went to take care of something. The trailer was all marked up inside (though likely nothing that cane be done about that- part of it being a trailer), but there was something spilled down the side wall. Figured I'd wipe it before I dropped it off. The (likely) daughter came to put stickers on damage that already existed. After that I couldn't find the owner/worker anywhere to finish paperwork. When I eventually found her she reported we were done and there was nothing for me to sign. Unfortunately I wasted time waiting for her. I hadn't choosen a drop of destination so figured I'd do that when I got in town. I received a text however with an address so I returned it to that very sketchy location. I'm guessing we weren't actually done with paperwork. When I wiped down the dirty spot on the wall it turned out a number of the walls were dirty and the trailer probably would have benefited from a spray off/clean. As I was un-laoding I found though not easily seen, the floor needed a sweep and the bottom of my bags and boxes were now dirty. Would be nice if the standard was to wipe down walls and sweep floor whether or not it looked dirty when someone returned a trailer or truck.

This location gave me the wrong auto hauler and then tried to charge me for it. I drove over 5 hours from where I live to pick up a truck and bring it back to my location and it was a complete wasted day. And what's even worse is that they would not even return my calls when I tried calling them to resolve this matter.

Funny how you can't leave comments concerning U-haul corporate. My complaint is that if you make your reservation online you can't make any changes, especially to the drop off location. My closest option online for dropoff was a location 15 miles away. When I arrived at my destination there was a U-Haul 1 mile away. I called and they said they had availability for drop off but I had to talk to the reservation line to make the change. I called and was told the change would cost me double the original cost!! From $450 to almost $900. Really!! Come on U-Haul, you can't be serious, Needless to say I made the longer dropoff trip to save the $450, but U-Haul has lost a customer and my recommendation to others. If you choose U-Haul and use their online reservation system, beware.

The person who took my reservation screwed this whole thing up. I asked for a 5 pm pickup, he put me down for noon. I said I wanted to drop off in Snow Hill MD, he put me down on Denton. Then you guys charge me more money for dropping it off at another location because Denton is a hours drive, and Snow Hill doesn't take trailer's. It helps if your people can speak English. Thanks for nothing

This location is fine, but uhaul as a whole is a terrible company, overcharges, had to call multiple times to fix the problem they created. I made a reservation online for a 15ft truck and car dolly, they sent the notification and wouldn’t you know you can’t pick up a car dolly on a weekend with no one there, good job uhaul now we had to waste over an hr staying on the phone with you just to be told to go to a different pick up site for the car dolly. Everyone we spoke to gave different responses to the questions, so I guess uhaul needs to actually train their employees or have a company meeting on policy. I would never go back to uhaul and would expand every other option before giving them money.

Very quick and efficient, and very professional. The trailer had a wiring issue, which I thought could have been an issue with my truck instead. The office called me shortly after I dropped the trailer off to confirm the issue was with the trailer and not my truck..I appreciate the call as I was concerned about whether I needed to troubleshoot the truck.

The service was great, but the truck only had half a tank and the inside of the back was very dirty. Our furniture became very dirty because of it. I mentioned this when dropping the truck off, and was told to email the pickup location about it, but there was no email to be found, and the only website link I found was a bad link.

I was told I had to drive three hours to pick my trailer up and I was going to get a day free. I didn’t get the free day and I was actually charge $75 more than what my receipt says. I tried calling U-Haul numerous times and no one answered or called me back. I honestly don’t think I would use U-Haul again

Nicest place on the Shore to deal with. Had a very negative experience at Moe's Towing, which is just a few miles away. Called Henslers and within 15 minutes, I was happily driving a U-Haul truck away. Highly recommend!!!!

Told i could pick up the truck at 830am. By the owner the day before. Drove 6 hours to pickup the truck. Arrived at 830am and no one around. Called the number and they said they wouldn’t be there until 945. After talking to traffic, I had to download the app. App froze and had to call back. Mike gave me passcode to take the truck. I worked at uhaul for 2 years in college. I would never had done that to a customer or I would had been fired. Uhaul has really gone down hill. Very unsatisfied.....

The contract I received at the time of rental had the location I wanted to drop the rental off to, New Church, VA. But on 06/16/2019 I received a text stating I had to take the rental to another location when I called to ask why, I was told that New Church, VA should not have been an option when I rented (pre-paid also) on line. I was first told I had to take it over an hour away from where I was. If I had violated the mutually agreed upon contact there would be fines/penalties to be paid. I kept my end of the contract, picking it up at the location and dropping it off on the agreed date. Your end did not keep your end of the contact by causing me to drive further than the agreed upon location. What fines/penalties will be awarded to me? I may not use Uhaul every day, but I have used Uhaul several times in the past, not happy about the breach of contract.

This is the second time I've rented a Uhaul from the this location & I am just as disappointed this time as I was last time. I only picked this location because they were the only one in my area that had a truck available for that day. They charged me for things that was not told to me prior to me renting the truck & then they add all of these other charges that are uncalled for. I would NOT recommend this location to anyway.
