I sold a home and initially used uhaul about 20 minutes away to move furniture from my home to storage units 5 minutes away and was charged total about 82 when I returned the truck my fees dropped due to over figuring miles. The second time I used uhaul about 6 weeks later, I was told the estimated price would be about 82. This location in Geneva Alabama was closer, about 5 minutes from the storage units to transport furniture to another house about 15 minutes away. I requested 24 return but said I might return it that night, he entered 6 hours return and tried to change it but couldn't and verbally told me 24 hours. I returned the truck that night and later noticed that he added about 20 extra when I checked my bank account and email. I haven't called to question why? I put the correct amount of gas back in the vehicle. I would have appreciated a call regarding that. He was very friendly and nice when I came in and was surprised since the others didn't charge extra? Twenty dollars isn't that much but it's the principle. Moving is extremely stressful, hard and expensive. I already had to pay a lot for movers twice and to rent storage units not to mention the awful rent of temporary housing until closing on another home which was also delayed. I'm thankful for all my blessings and wasn't going to mention this but since you emailed me, oh well. Maybe he'll stop doing that to people who return the trucks after hours, not fair. Other than that everything was great at both facilities. I'd like to rate him excellent but I shouldn't been charged extra, at least should have been contacted regarding that. Wendell AIt was closed midday on a Wednesday when I dropped off uhaul but they did allow me 2 extra hours as we were having torrential rains due to bands from hurricane Ida.

Johnny AWe arrived around noon and the business was closed. We called and called the number posted on the door, no answer. We have to call the U-Haul 800 number and after 40 minutes on the phone, they told us what to do. We took lots of pictures of the trailer to show that it was in good condition and for their instructions left the trailer there in the parking lot. Not happy with this drop off situation

Deon CThe equipment was maintained and partially clean. We had to fumigate the loading area because of roaches. We then had to wipe down the entire loading area with lysol to get rid of the roach spray. We lost almost 1/2 of our 1st day cleaning the equipment of roaches. We have used this location previously and were quite satisfied. The owners were professional and nice to deal with.

ERNEST KThere was wires bear on the trailer causing my fuses to short out had to take it to the shop twice finally found the problem after that cost me all bunch of money had to have another truck brought from Alabama just to pull the trailer on up and then we found the problem the shop didn't even find

Vickie KMake sure the equipment is not leaking. I had to pay more than I thought for this unit because I Originally wanted to pick up in Chattanooga Tn, but they didn't have any trailers this size available. Renting one day and returning the next and paying almost 200.00 is a little much for a leaking trailer.
