Patrick MThe self-check for returns was a nightmare. After driving 700 miles, I didn’t want to go through the whole process of downloading the app, watching instructional videos, navigating the app was challenging, it was dark and cold and I was exhausted and entire check in process was annoying and frustrating. The in person interaction was great and I would recommend the location to anyone. The app was enough to make me not want to rent from uhaul again.

Charles VLet them know they will incur a $20.00 fee if they return the equipment after hours. My reservation called for returning the trailer after the store was closed. I asked where I should leave the trailer. They told me where and that's where I left it. No one said anything about being charge extra for this.
Charles CDon’t advertise and tell folks your trailer is $18.95 per day then hit my card for nearly $40. I’ll use your competitor for future rental needs.

robin tThe staff at the Parish Automotive rental facility in Daphne, AL need to be trained on customer service. In particular meeting the customers expectations. I went in to rent a truck. Gave the lady my license and form of payment. She processed the rental and handed me a piece of paper stating “sign the top copy, bottom copy is yours.” I had a very busy day ahead of me, so I did. And went about my business. I drove the Uhaul a total of 14 miles. Brought the vehicle back where I waited in line. Because the couple in front of me were taking a while, the gentleman at the register told me he would just take the keys and take care of it. By take care of it, he meant charge me $30 service fee for gas, and proceed to put 4 gallons of gas in the truck that I was also charged for. I would have no problem paying for the gas as I did not refill the small amount I used assuming they would and I’d receive a small gas charge. Even though I signed the agreement, I was not advised on the agreement. I was not told about probably one of the most important parts, refueling. It’s an easy way of taking advantage of unaware customers. Its poor practice and needs to change.
