Truck was returned before drop off time and I asked if anything else was needed and was told no I was good to go however I got contacted next day due to truck listed as still with me and had to call to have someone contact to confirm truck just not listed back in the system or something. Highly concerning and it was hours after I called to correct that before I got the email with final receipt to confirm truck was listed back. I would never use either facility I used this time unless I didn’t have other options.

I spoke to customer service multiple times through chat and the helpline and I was pretty much harassed by the owner of footes stating you guys never contacted him and by the helpline being rude as fuck instead of helpful. I had tried to rent the Uhaul for two days prior and Uhaul would not let me pick it up because I didn’t have my picture ID. When it was UHAUL who had had my ID for over a week and failed to return it or even called to let me know they had it: my experience was ridiculous to be honest

Coy WI left a bag with $50.00 worth of goods in the truck. Mike at U-Haul called to tell me he found the bag and is holding it for me. I could not get there for a few days and when I went on Friday the bag was gone and nowhere to be found. He assumed somebody threw it away. So, I am now out of $50.00 of my property. Someone most likely stole it. Why would someone throw away $50 worth if cigarettes? Not a happy experience and I will never use them again. Damn theives.

CRISTIANO RI didn't get the accessory items I ordered, and I wasn't told they were unavailable. If I had been told ahead of time, I would have sorted something else out, but it left me in a pinch not having the dollies and furniture pads that I expected to have on the day of the move.

Anthony BI was charged an extra $70.00 and I was not told..when I picked up the trailer. I saw the charge on my credit card after and when I asked at the drop off place they stated it was for insurance. This is underhanded and deceitful.
robert jI have rented from this U-Haul company location on many occasions and the equipment is always clean, I have never found trash left in the cab of a truck and any damage to a vehicle has been pointed out to me before I got the vehicle. Which I find to be outstanding customer service because if I'm traveling with a U-Haul truck and I noticed damage on it after I picked it up I would be wondering how it happened or what I did if it wasn't notated to me ahead of time.

Dave CMy receipt did not include the extra gas I left in the truck which I was told I would be credited for. Otherwise with the price of gas I would have siphoned the extra out. With gas prices the way they are, its about $50 in gas !

james kTruck was filthy, inside and out. We also requested a pick up in a location closer to where we were headed, and 2 days before, were told we had to travel an extra 18 miles one way from our intended destination, adding additional mileage to our rental. Also, the gas tank was on empty. We had the same issue with another uhaul that we rented in NY state. Having to travel additional miles to get our truck outside of the location we requested pick up from. Next time, we will refuse to travel any extra miles. The renting location should be sure there is a truck available if that is the location that is selected. Extra mileage will be charged to you if you go over regardless of this issue! Perhaps the renting location should take pictures of the vehicle when it's picked up instead of the customer having to take pictures of the condition. Whatever happened to customer service, seems Uhaul doesn't need to offer it. We will rent a professional moving company for our next move.

They only have one person there that apparently can do the rental pick up and they had left for the day even though I had reserved the time to pick up a few days ahead and then I had to wait for her to show up. She acted like it was my fault that she had to come back and was rude. They van was okay, the back of it just really hadn’t been cleaned in a while, there were cobwebs when I swept it out. Overall, we won’t be renting a UHaul from this location ever again. We’ve gone here twice and have had an awful experience with the people both times.
TERRY MI didn't notice this when I picked up the empty truck, but as soon as I loaded it, I realized one of the rear inside tires was flat. When I took it to a truck service center (which delayed my trip by several hours), the cause of the flat tire was determined: it was completely worn out and cracked through on the shoulder. I definitely recommend that customers check tires at the time of pickup and not trust U-Haul to do it. In addition to the tire problem, the truck's AC quit working with about 500 miles of travel left to go on a 95 degree day, and that made for a very hot, uncomfortable experience.

Robert SI had to go back the next day to this rental location. I was charged the $36.28 for the truck , but i was also charged an extra $100.00 . Two different transactions show on my account , so They took 136.28 outs of my account , instead of doing 100 deposit minus 36.28 and refunding the 63.72 difference 100.00 - 36.28 --------------- 63.72 correct amount that should have been refunded . I had to call u haul corporate to get the $100.00 back because they charged me twice 1st 36.28 2nd $100.00 after calling corporate they refunded the $100.00 2-3 business days , we will see if it shows up or another call to corporate will ensue. U Haul store location 51259 Waverly, NY the employees are rude and unhelpful with a dispute , I will NEVER rent or refer anyone to this location ever again. Sadly I've rented from U Haul many times over the years and never had any issue until now. So if I need a rental again in my area its BUDGET or PENSKE both are close to where I live , only rented from U Haul because I have for years , WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER...... :( god bless & goodbye ...............
