Rental price very reasonable, but was not aware of extra fees. A $20 rental ended up a $60 rental, even though I purchased the insurance.

Clean and maintain vehicles before renting them out. Macaroni noodles by the steering column, tire pressure sensor coming on every time vehicle starts. Advise where to park when bringing vehicle back overnight for early drop off and how to check it in. Make sure the app works at your location, I sat for a couple hours on and off the phone trying to get the vehicle turned in just to have the “specialist” tell me to take pictures of all sides and the odometer/fuel and leave it. Charge what you actually send a receipt for. I have another hold on my bank account for more than what I was already given a receipt for and I have no clue why!

Rented a medium trailer to haul furniture. They rented the trailer full of Drywall debris and dust. I had to spend my time to sweep and vacuum the trailer and put down a tarp to protect my furniture. I did call the location to tell them that they rented a trailer that was a mess and they did offer to for me to bring it back so they could "sweep it out". I live 10 miles from the location!!! The facility where I returned the equipment, were just a unpleased as I was when they saw the back of the trailer.

Truck leakes in the rear by the door. Several things got wet. I was very disappointed. I thought you would take better care of your trucks.

We were in Roane County to purchase a piano found on Facebook Marketplace. This criticism is not about Fowlers, but about UHaul in general. It is entirely too difficult to rent a UHaul in Roane County. Closed dealers are still listed and show up on google searches and one location still has a lot full of trailers just sitting there. I guess they are free for the borrowing, but, I know that is not true! That would be considered theft. But what is to stop someone who doesn't see it that way. Something needs to be done about that. It would save a lot of law abiding people a lot of frustration.

The customer service at this location is very good but the company as a whole my experience was terrible. The equipment I rented was supposed to be at this location it was not, and it was a big hassle and then you overcharged me it was more than I was first quoted

The inside of the back of the truck was dirty and had debris from the previous driver, and they only left me 25 miles before I would run out of gas. I loved working with the Fowler’s people because they were very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. Thank you all!

Everything was fine until I saw that I was double charged because the location I picked up at was closed the next day. The person that checked me in DID NOT make the return process CLEAR and tell us NOT to return online. I had trailer for ONE day. Not two I have another Uhaul truck reserved in NC November 3rd. I WILL NOT be doing any part of the transaction WEBSITE. Lesson learned.

First of all the website let me select a 9 am pick up when the location didn’t open until 10. Second of all I chose the 24/7 contactless pick up option and it was not staged before hand so we had to wait an hour for the place to open. The man then proceeded to say if I chose the 24/7 option he would have had it ready before, so I showed him on my app where I did in fact select that option. After technical difficulties they finally give us the key. I get it loaded up including my young nephew in his booster seat, as we are about the leave the workers run up saying stop they gave us the wrong keys to the wrong truck. So after already running over an hour behind we had to switch trucks. Also we were told we had to bring it full of gas when it wasn’t even full when we left. Whoever is running this location needs to be reevaluated in their position because moving his stressful enough without all of these issues.

the front safety chain needs to be located on the outside of the front, instead of inside, hard to see to unscrew the coupling. Need to oil those couplings on a regular bases. I had to lay down under the trailer with a wrench to unscrew coupling, in the snow freezing temperatures, I was not happy.

The 15 ft U-haul drove AWFUL!!!! and drank gasoline! I only went from Harriman/ Rockwood Tn to Hardin Valley/ Knoxville Tn then back again & gasoline was $65
