Using the 24/7 online pickup was a nightmare. I called the customer service line 2 times and went to two UHaul locations trying to find someone who would help me understand the app and not a single person knew how to use it. It was so incredibly frustrating and unclear. Additionally, I was overcharged when I was trying to reserve a truck. I was promoted to choose the Springfield location for drop off to save $40-50 dollars but instead I was charged for the extra miles it took to get to the promoted location. Additionally, I was supposed to get a dolly to help with my move ($12) and my pickup location no longer had dollys but I was still charged for it.
Sydney AEasy access location with a gas station so fueling up on return is a breeze.
Megan SI won’t recommend anyone for the simple fact that I gassed up the truck before returning it and was still charged for gas. Charging $30 to put gas in a truck is ridiculous especially when the U-Haul company is located at a gas station.

Neal FA refund for over estimating how much gas to put in. Ended up paying for extra mileage that we went over with but also paid for too much gas and would have fathered those just both cancel each other out. However we lost 50$ altogether…

It took me a whole hour I was to pick up the truck at a certain time and the proper access code to start the process as the app kept telling me I had the wrong password and code. Chinequia BThis was one of the easiest and quickest pick ups and drop off for a U-Haul vehicle I've ever made. Close to home, easy to find, newer van are among my favorite parts of this pickup. I didn't need to speak to anyone throughout the whole process which is great for my anxiety. I will definitely rent again from this location only

Justin EI started in East Hartford, CT with a quarter tank of gas. I returned the vehicle to NH with slightly under half a tank. I was told by the East Hartford agent that to avoid additional charges I would have to return the vehicle to Hudson, NH with at least a quarter tank. Please investigate for a credit. My final mobile bill reflects a charge of $85.50, which filled the fuel tank. Please investigate for a credit. My contract number is 22458079. Thank you! John Dougan
John DThe U-Haul personnel left at 3:00 or 3:30, and I dropped the trailer about 4:00. The sole clerk inside told me to "check in online." It would have been useful if he had handed me a sheet with instructions. Instead I had to call U-Haul for instructions on how to do that. I took pictures before I made the call, assuming they would be useful. However, as the person on the phone waked me through the process, I discovered that the iPhone app required photos taken while you were completing the form on the app. I would have assumed it would let you pick a photo stored on your phone. I was glad I called from the parking lot.
Richard BAbsolutely furious that my pickup location changed at 8pm the night before hand. I booked my reservation almost 2 months in advance to pick up at 9am in Middletown and didn’t get notified until 8pm the night before that I couldn’t pick up until 11am and had to go to East Hartford instead. Beyond unacceptable.

John MThis was a convenient location, but it was not overly clear what to do at drop-off. The location is at a gas station, and the station manager(?) said he would pass the key on to the UHaul representative for us. I appreciated his offer to do that as it wasn't very clear how to proceed otherwise. Other than that, drop-off was easy and quick.

Gary RConvenient that you can buy gas here in case a customer forgets to fill up like I did, though, gas prices here are seriously overpriced. Also, uhaul staff are off the clock at 1pm, which is silly. Fortunately, the attendant was able to help.
