Your location at 8001 Federal Blvd Westminster, CO 80031 did not have an available truck, so I was stuck with your location at 9230 Federal Blvd Federal Heights, CO 80260. They are not open on Sunday. I dropped off the truck Sunday night. Because your website/app does not work (My Rentals / Reservations Could not load reservation items. You have no rentals or reservations.), I could not do the electronic return. The location opened at 09:00 AM Monday and reported my return at 10:00 AM Monday. So they charged me a third day. Pretty lame and shady business practices.

when we arrived to load our assets into the storage unit, our neighbor in the adjacent unit had the entire corridor blocked with his junk. Our load in was completely blocked. We had to ask management to have ask him to move so we could load in. After swearing at us for making him move his stuff, the neighbor (who looked homeless and was living out of his car and the storage locker) proceeded to stand and watch us load our stuff into the storage locker. Taking a visual inventory of all our assets. Then the neighbor told us that there had been three break-ins into storage lockers in our row in the last two weeks including his sisters locker that was completely cleaned out by thieves the day before. He also showed us the tools in his locker that could easily cut off the lock on our unit and where the thieves typically come into the facility over the wall. We immediately took all of our belongs back out of the unit and left. I called the next day and told the facility manager what happened. They are refusing to refund us our money. We will be filing a small claims law suit with our legal team to get our money back.

Bad service. Lots of hidden charges that were not exchanged. Got a late fee because business closed long before 5 as advertised. Internet stuff was ridiculously complicated and difficult to navigate.

I only would not recommend because our rent increased every few months. Otherwise, we had no problems. Staff was great and very accommodating. Facility was great and felt secure.

It was what you expect from renting over a truck. The only thing I don't understand is how going 11 miles burned through 5 gallons of fuel if that's the case then you guys need to fix your truck something's wrong with it. But hey charge me six something a gallon I'll do it too got the job done

My keys were supposed to be left in a lock box because I needed to pick them up before the location opened, but they weren't in there. I realized, while I was on hold with U-Haul that it would not have mattered if the keys had been left where they were supposed to because the truck was behind a locked gate anyway. After speaking with the representative, it turned out that I would have to wait until the place opened to get my truck. When I'm finally able to get the keys and my truck nearly TWO hours after I was supposed to, I am offered no apology for their mistake. Meanwhile, I had hired professional movers who ended up having to sit around for over an hour doing nothing because of this delay. They didn't mind though because I had to pay them regardless if they doing anything or not. The representative tells me that I will be getting a $50 rental guarantee added to my account, but my bank account says otherwise. They charged me for the full rental anyway. I am NOT happy.

First off I rented a 17’ truck and then got a call 2 days after I had set everything up that only a 15’ was available. That 2’ of lost space cost 3 car trips. I don’t appreciate having my reservation changed after the fact! The online site said I could check in before hand with ID and credit card and not need to have them make copies at store… nope, dude had to basically get all my details again and copies. I selected not to get the insurance and then had the guy add it on at the store. We are all currently stuck using your services, but be certain if a better group comes along I’ll cease using your services in a heartbeat.

On line check in process does not work. How would we get the keys? This location has a small sign in the window, otherwise nobody can tell this is a U-haul. The gentleman at the check out wanted 3 names as a POC and to call them. This should have been mentioned up front. He was very disorganized and flustered. I will not be coming back.

The truck itself was fine, but dealing with converting from a regular u-haul to a truckshare took about 45 minutes, making me late. I had to call the 1-800 number to get it converted, since it wouldn’t let me do it on the app or website and the office was closed. Luckily there was someone there who also worked at the storage facility. I also had to get the proper lockbox code from the guy in the office, because the one on the app didn’t work.

The storage unit person on duty had absolutely no idea how I could "pick up" the truck with the online features, had no clue how to walk me through it, and the online service makes a total hassle. no one even informed me I would do this all online in advance so I was lucky I had internet access with my phone to do it! Turn the process into in person signing, ditch the "car share" online bit or make your site more user friendly at least. It's total garbage and took us 40 minutes to accomplish what could have taken 10, after waiting 25 minutes for him to "come back from walking the lot" and tell us it needed to be done online. Never. Ever. Using or refering U-haul again.

ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!! Due to COVID19 customers cant just walk in, they are forced to call the office where they are picking up their U Haul. Problem is nobody answers the phone. I called multiple times and had to knock on the door and yell to a second floor window to get any help. The office worker was kinda rude and condescending :( Then the gate wouldn't open for us to get out of the lot, and the office employee never answered the phone. I called over 5 times and never got an answer. We had to wait till someone else left, so that we could piggy back behind them. Totally wasted 20 or 30 minutes trying to get the gate open so we could leave. Then the drop box has no sign and its very confusing where to leave your keys. Overall a terrible experience, very poor instruction and help. And i wasnt even given the correct dolly that was ordered.

I have a hard time rating them as they were closed due to the virus. We did get into the lot when some other person with a storage unit opened the gate but then we were stuck inside for about a half hour until someone else came in. I did the after hours checkout which went fine and dropped the keys in the office door slot. I left a message for the location but nobody has called mr back. Strange time in this country.

The administrative assistant or office manager was a delight! Very pleasant polite answered calmly questions. Walked me to the van she made the time to ensure the text message I got to verify the gas and milage was working correctly. It wasn't, so thankfully she was there so I was able to verify with her what the actual milage and gas was so I was able to leave with my rental. Businesses need more human interaction with excellence and not electronics since it's apparent the verification process isn't working for uhaul.

My agreement said the fuel tank was 15/16 full. The gauge in the van was around 3/4 full (which I have a picture of). When I filled the van with gas at the end, I filled it so the gauge was closer to F compared to when I started. I still got charged for extra gas. Either fix the fuel gauge in that van or be honest with your customers about much gas the vehicle starts out with.

No one was in the store when I arrived. I called all the numbers no one answered. After an hour of calling and contacting uhaul. I finally found the employee. They did not know how to give me the keys. They told me I needed a 4 digit code for the drop box....then realized they were wrong. It took me 1 and a half hours till I finally got my truck....The gas tank was not full...it was even under 3/4 tank. The worst possible service....

There was confusion about pick up with my reservation as to where it was and the lock box did not work so I was not able to pick up my vehicle when I was supposed to the vehicle was dirty it had stuff on the inside I complained and was supposed to get at least a $50 refund because I could not get my vehicle when I was supposed to but I have not had any word or any site of getting my refund I am 100% disappointed and frustrated with my U-Haul experience. Note that as far as I can tell the person that helped me at the location who apparently doesn’t technically work for U-Haul she works for the storage company but takes care of the U-Haul things there was very nice and very helpful and very patient with me and worked very well with me I would recommend her but I have nothing good really to say about my U-Haul experience except that my truck did run and I was able to do what I needed to do

The two women in the storage office were rude and snotty. They were of no help at all. They didn't know the password so we could connect to their WiFi. We ended up calling UHauls 800 number and they directed us. This rental was for business use and it made us 1 hour late to our event!!

I would have given 5 stars but my final bill included a charge for a lost hand truck which I didn't rent. I only rented a truck by itself with no extras. I sent an email to U-Haul and was given the proper credit but it shouldn't have happened. Also, the interior smelled like someone had slept in it. Keeping the window down took care of it but the truck needed an interior cleaning. Otherwise, everything was OK.

Be available to release the rented vehicles on time. Do not schedule other business to take place during the time a customer has scheduled. OR make sure there is someone else in the office to handle the regular duties. I was late leaving my former residence due to the office being closed for approximately twenty-five minutes, thus delaying my move.

Convenient location, which was actually closer to where I was; glad my reservation was easily pulled up and honored, considering I was on a time crunch with my move and the van I reserved at another location still wasn't returned by that person using it. Was thankful for the assistance at this location I used instead in getting a van rental when immediately needed.

The signing. In process was ridiculous, the locator couldn’t find us, when we called customer service they told us we needed to download Firefox and be connected to WiFi. The uhaul location is in a crap part of town with no WiFi and I can’t believe they expect you to download a separate browser, non of which is on the website. The customer service was rude and told us we were the only ones to ever have these issues which I highly doubt. The whole process to get the van took a full hour and customer service kept saying there was nothing they could do. Finally we got manually checked in and we use the van and dropped it off the same night and called uhaul to make sure that was all he needed to do and they said he “was noted” in a very rude tone. I got 4 separate calls this morning asking if we still had the equipment we rented. They thought we rented a dolly, we didn’t. when I corrected them that we had a van and it was already returned and checked in over the phone, they hung up, then called back because they couldn’t find the key. My husband put it in the lock box where the woman on the phone told him to put it, but the yound woman on the phone was used to people dropping it in the door. It just seems like there has been no training or any idea how technology works. The whole ordeal was very frustrating and customer service was very rude. We won’t be using uhaul again.

This location did not have the equipment they listed they had. Instead I had to pay more money for more hassle and received extremely poor customer service from the location. U-Haul the company was great assistance, but this location is more than difficult to work with. It is worth the time to go to another location (there is even one across the street!)

UHaul needs to know that their website sucks. I actually arrived at the Uhaul center at 80th and Federal Street for my truck. The desk person had to do a lookup by my phone number to convey that I had to go to another location 12 blocks north. Apparently, there is no master directory by location number (#4761??) that you can just look up. Or at least this desk person had problems trying to look up. Other than that, great truck, great service, and good pricing.

Worst experience I have had, would never recommend this location or Uhaul ever to a friend. No one knew what they were doing and were not helpful at all. They didn't know what was going on and ended up getting over charged 15 dollars for their errors. Also when I tried to get ahold of them to discuss the situation no one answered.

Service was reasonable. It would help if the code pedestal for entering the facility was more accessible from the vehicle window instead of having to get out of the vehicle to punch in the code.
