The 24/7 pickup process was very very useful. The website process was well structured, but has a couple of little hiccups, which caused me to call your help line. The help line person was a real pro. If you'd like feedback on the web, I can provide feedback.
Gerald GervaisIt is difficult to use for first customer. We need staff for renting a car. Too much work for customer without staff. We called the customer service and figured it out.
Han TranTruck was ready and well-maintained and the service was prompt and courteous. A couple of concerns: overcharged on the final bill for fuel (which I topped up). I was billed for 8L, when I drove the truck a total of 19km. I sent an email to requesting clarification and haven't received a response. A disappointing end to an otherwise positive experience.

Simon LeungAlthough I was able to get the keys easily enough, my truckshare had a back door that was completely frozen shut to the point where any normal person wouldn't be able to open it. We had to waste two hours for roadside assistance to come help. After all that, the two dollies I had ordered were not there as well so I had to manage without.

Rahul Rahul KumarFirst van the rear door was frozen shut, so they replaced the van and then set out a new contract but then charged me for the safe move fee which I denied in the original contract. If and when rectified I would give them a better rating (I get sometimes stuff happens).

Ariadne GallopI was charged $25 for a cleaning fee in which I was unaware of. This was not disclosed to me when I picked up my rental. I also don't recall making a mess of the van. I will get my money back. This is absolutely ridiculous and a big scam. I will never use a U-Haul rental again.
Daniel CoPart of the app didn’t work which caused a delay. Had to call support person. Also no signage to where to park. Ended up having a guy yelling at me for parking in the front. Please tell this distributor to put a sign up. Also app indicates that all u haul vehicles are in the front when they are actually hidden behind the building.

Maricon MartinThis is just a general comment for U-Haul, not any specific location. I would only suggest that all vehicles should be rented with a full tank of fuel to make the process of refueling not such a math problem. The other option would be to provide a slight discount to customers that return a vehicle with more fuel than it had when originally rented.

Julie SorensenThe self chrck in app is total garbage. pages take upwards of 5 mins to load, I was on the verge of just not completing the process and giving up. I had to kill the app 3 times before it loaded to verious pages. The identifying process should be quick, it shouldn't require me to give my passport info/lease agreement when im at the check in location. I had to go through the chat to get my booking confirmed. Very useless and time wasting. 45 mins to check in is unacceptable. fix my experience.

karen nataraleIt would be nice if the parking area was paved, it was muddy because it had rained. The gentleman at the location was very friendly and very helpful because we got there at around 9:15 and we didn't get our rental until around 10! The U-Haul website or phone check-in was not working well at all, had to call, were on hold for a very very long time... made us waste a lot of time when time is precious on a moving day!!
Marie-Claude LaroseDaniel… on site was somewhat rude, and not answering my questions. He wanted me to sign the contract even though I said, my glasses were in the car he made me sign on the diving line, even though the price was different than what the court I had in my hand with the reservation I did online the online application, asked me for my location driving to and driving back and calculated the kilometers based on that with the rental price I agreed to the $88 charge for four hours. When I got on site, he did another quotation that said $131 which I disagreed with and he said he would change it when I got back he was not there when I arrived and I had to do a self check in and drop off the keys on top of that. I paid $35 to fill the gas tank up. therefore, for a four hour rental I paid over $165 at that same cost I could’ve rented the same van at Home Depot for a 24 hour rental. I will never ever use U-Haul again nor ever recommend that location to anyone even if Home Depot’s trucks are not available because it was a long weekend I made a grave error in renting from you. It was very deceitful and misleading and it was your on site application. That told me what the rental cost would be with the kilometres would be driven even though I put in the address and the postal code. It calculated a totally different amount when I dropped off the truck so I am very very disappointed and very upset that I almost paid double the cost that I was quoted … Never ever again will I use U-Haul?
CATHERINE BROWNWe arrived to pick up the truck, took our driver’s license and credit card, didn’t take us to the truck for inspection, just gave us a piece of paper and said to fill the truck back to that point. When we returned the truck, I asked if there was an invoice, said it would be sent by email. Well, when I received the invoice, I was charged $15 for insurance I never authorized, almost another $15 for fuel which I did replace and still got charged and was charged for more Km’s than I did. What kind of scam is this place running???????? We called back and gave us the run around, said to send a picture of the fuel after we filled the tank. I have a feeling they won’t do anything and were overcharged at least $30+ for the rental. It’s disgusting how people take advantage of you. Will NEVER rent there again.

Alex Ostojicwhen I walked in, the owner was in his own office. didn't seem to care about customers at all. I reserved a truck online and purposely unchecked the safe move insurance because the distance that I had to travel was fairly close. when I went to pick up the truck, I thought he would just use the same information as what I selected online, so I didn't question anything while he was doing his paperwork on the screen. he asked me for my license, asked me to add an emergency contact, and asked me if the credit card on file can be used. he didn't ask if I needed to add insurance, he didn't even tell me the amount I was paying there and then just pushed over the key and told me to check the mileage and the gas tank gauge. so I didn't think twice, got the key and signed the paper. however, right before I went to drop off the truck, I saw an insurance charge on the paper while my wife was dropping me off there. so I asked him about the insurance charge, I told him I purposely opted out insurance for my reservation why did he opted it in for me. he told me it was automatically added and I was supposed to tell him that I wanted to opt it out. so I explained the logic to him that I reserved the truck and opted out purposely, why would I expect a different selection when I got there to pick up the truck. if I had to tell him preferences all over again, what's the point of reserving a truck online? if I had to tell him I opted out insurance, why is the reservation number the same as the contract number showing on the receipt, meaning all the preferences were already selected in my reservation selections. why is insurance the only thing I had to inform him that it has been opted out but not the size of the trucks? not the estimated mileage? not the time that I had to return the truck? not a different location for the return? not having to telling that I need a dolly (I added a dolly in my reservation)? this location is a total scam and the owner doesn't care about their customers. I beg you please remove their authorization for UHAUL services, and please give me back the money I didn't choose to pay. I chose the dolly and I didn't dispute it because I chose it, but I didn't choose to pay for the insurance that I didn't need, then please return it to me.

Robert EttyI told Eddy (at the location) I would be picking up before 7.0 a.m. as I had a fixed time to get to my destination. He did not mention that there may be challenges if I don’t use the app or provide any useful information for my early pick up the next day. I spent close an hour with Customer Service trying to get access to the van key. The agent, Leah said I would get a complimentary $20 for all the difficulties. I also explained to her that because of the delay with getting the key, I would have to use the 407. Leah said a Manager would call me back about the terrible experience and compensation for using the 407 etc.. On returning the van, Eddy the owner put all the blame on U-haul and had no apology or empathy. Each time I return to try out U-Haul, it’s still a poor experience

SENTHURAN SHKTHIAUMARThey should atleast clean the vehicle inside and sanitize each and every usage. The one I rented is dusty, there is empty bottle and debris on the floor and compartments. The tire sensors is on and I almost stock up on the road with a small file of snow. I think the tires are worn out. I want to tell to the office but when I returned the vehicle it was already closed. It's good I have my left blower in my car.that is why I blown inside before I used it.
